If you're looking for Salvadoran food, this is the place. The place looks very nice, clean, and authentic. The food 10/10. But !!!....it is a little pricey! One pupusa is almost $6

If you find a place where you can eat good "Pupusas," you have found happiness. If you're Salvadorian that is ;) . The meal I grew up with back home brings comfort and satisfaction at "La Molienda." Let me describe a little bit of this meal, a stuffed tortilla with ingredients such as cheese, beans, pork, and a combination of all of them together, make this classic Salvadorian staple something to long for! At La Molienda, you can be sure to enjoy a genuine taste. The menu starts there but it continues with a large variety of options such as chicken tamales, sweet corn tamales, anything plantains, and many, many more Salvadorian delicacies that you won't regret experiencing. The prices are totally affordable. The ambience is simple but welcoming. The service is not the greatest at times if you come in too late at night. Lesson learned. But hey, I'll be out of it too by 10pm. My boyfriend is American, but he is hooked with Salvadorian food!! La Molienda has played an important role on the matter. Don't miss it!! You'll be getting yourself a special treat :)

I do not know how this restaurant is not busy all the time. The food is AMAZING! I went with teachers from the school nearby, and the inside is beautifully decorated, wait staff are very nice, and food is delicious! LOVE!!

Prompt, friendly greeting. Complimentary chips and salsa. Server was very helpful explaining the menu items. Food was brought out really quick after placing order. The Nuevo Variado Molienda is a lot of food, a little taste of everything, heavy on the fried starches so there wasn't a big burst of flavors. Tried one of their homemade drinks--blackberry juice, which was tasty, thick and rich. Interested in trying other menu items--soup and seafood. Drive-thru is a convenient option.

we stopped with my daughter to eat delicious "PUPUSAS LOROCO" which apart from being rich, were great. I can not stop recommending the place to enjoy the delicious "Pupusas" Ahhh and the delicious ummmm dessert "platano dulce"

I've been coming here since I was a kid, I love the pupusas and the sauce they come with. The hen tamales are to die for I will always recommend this place to friends

I had the sopa de mondongo. I wanted to try something different. The soup was actually good. I didn't particularly care for the flour tortilla. The sangarita wine was marvelous. It had a sweet taste. I enjoyed the peaches they put inside the wine. This is a nice friendly place. I would recommend anyone looking to try something different come here.

It's a little spot off of busy Oakland Park and worth the stop. Amazing food, great price! And very nice staff ! The La Molienda Special was amazing! The shrimp was so flavorful, the steak and chicken was cooked perfectly. The plantains were so sweet and perfect texture. The fried cheese was a great side to add as well. I give it 5 out of 5!

I really enjoy the food here, and the prices are great, so it's disappointing to leave this rating. I've been here a few times, but this visit left a bad impression. When I checked my receipt, I noticed I was charged $1.98 for a bottled water I didn't order. When I asked about it, the cashier, Jose, first said it was for ice. When my wife asked for clarification, he changed his answer, saying it was for filtered tap water--$1.00 for the water and $0.98 for tax. The food is excellent, but be sure to check your bill before paying. Unfortunately, it seems like overcharging customers is acceptable here.

Next to pupusas, soup and other Salvadoran foods, they have sandwiches, breakfasts and other menu items that would be more at home on a diner menu than a Salvadoran restaurant menu. Since I am pretty much obsessed with pupusas, I went with three pupusas. They were fairly priced at three dollars a piece. The ordering process is relatively straightforward. You go to the counter and place your order. When it is ready, they bring it to your table. My pupusas were brought to me with the expected slaw and sauce. I find that the best pupusas that I have had here in this country were in Nashville, Tennessee and I found some great pupusas at a flea market on Orange Blossom Trail here in Orlando, Florida, but comparing it to other pupusas that I have tried here in Orlando (other than the ones at the OBT Flea Market), they were good. Not great, not the type that would haunt my dreams, but good. If you are looking for a local place, this place is not a bad place. Not great, but overall decent. Overall, I will give it four stars.

Plus you can see their selection baked goods. I looked at the menu prior and had a sense of what I wanted. I started with the Pastelito de Pina. First time ever hearing about this. It's solid. The crust was sugar coated and unique. The pineapple filling was smooth with a sweet texture. I mainly came to get the pupusas and try Salvadorian tamales. I got a bean & cheese pupusa and chicken tamale. When I open up my pupusa, instant cheese pull. And it was pretty good. They provide some kind of slaw on the side. I put the slaw and some hot sauce on top...creating the PERFECT bite. I tried some of my sisters shrimp pupusa. Personally I wouldn't order that but it was tasty and flavorful. I've never had a proper tamale so the chicken tamale was my first. The texture is really smooth and light. With seasoned shredded chicken all through out. For my first tamale, it was good. I also tried the fried tamale and it was a whole different story. The exterior was crispy and dark in color. Inside it was sweet with a corn taste. I was like wow. They paired it with a white sauce that was really good. Making me think of sour cream and cream cheese in one. We brought back a tres leches and flan home. The Tres leches was really good. It wasn't soggy and held up well. The flan cake was good but the sugar juices on the bottom tasted burnt. Which was distasteful. Service was okay. I felt like it could've been better. They weren't disrespectful or anything. If our server was new or having a bad day my apologies.

I've had pupusas a few times, but it's been a while so I was really excited to come to Pupusas & Burritos Grill. When I saw they did a unique take on pizza as well I decided I had to get both options to see how they were. It turns out, both were awesome! The pizza was a bit like a typical "Florida Pizza" so to speak in that it wasn't super thin, it wasn't crispy, it wasn't wood oven, etc - it had a fluffy dough and a good amount of sauce and cheese. But what set it apart was the huge flavor! The sauce was really tasty, the dough was tasty and the cheese was good quality and stretchy without being oily. The added pesto all over the pizza was like someone just pureed fresh basil - it was SO good. The best "margarita" style pizza I've had in a long time! The Pupusas were exactly what you'd expect. A nice dough with a cheesy bean mixture inside which was both really tasty and made you want to eat it all in seconds. The side salad / coleslaw was surprisingly good as well, with a great oil and vinegar type dressing that made me eat it all up when I often leave coleslaw uneaten. Overall I loved everything - the girl who took the order was really nice and the food came out fast. Will definitely go back.

It is literally a shack located at the end of one of the back rows (I guess that it would be Row A) of the flea market and have a few folding tables in the front for diners to grab a seat and eat their meal. The menu is rather small, but to me that is a plus. They offer papusas, which is a Salvadorean food that I am somewhat obsessed with, tacos, tamales, a few classic dishes like carne asada, mojarra fruits, camarones a la diabla, etc. and even hamburgers. This allows the small kitchen the opportunity to put an emphasis on these dishes and excel in them. Despite the humble surroundings, this restaurant does offer servers. Honestly, I do not know if it added to the experience, but I applaud Papuseria Alondra for this step. So, since papusas are an obsession and since this establishment is a papuseria, I ordered two papusas. When the pupusas came out to me, let me assure you, these pupusas are excellent. I had always said that Nashville, Tennessee had the best pupusas that I have ever found here in the states. Every place that offered papusas here in Orlando has been rather disappointing. Now I have found this place and this place will be my go-to for pupusas. These papusas would rival any of my favorite places in Nashville. The price point for each pupusas was $2.50. And this was after Taft. So, not only are these pupusas incredible, they're also an incredible value. I would definitely recommend a visit to this establishment. Yes, it is in a sketchy flea market and yes, it looks rather sketchy itself, but be assured that these papusas are nothing short of fantastic. Who knows, I might return tomorrow for some more.
