This is by far, hands down my go to spot when I am in Boston. I have had both a traditional and the signature massages as well as your typical facial as well as the HydraFacial. I have been going here for many years, even when they were short staffed one time, the owner was able to give me a HydraFacial and schedule me a massage. The massage was pretty good, however, at the end, I tipped $7 and the receptionist immediately asked me if everything was ok with the service. I replied that everything was fine and she continued to state "usually people tip 15%-20%". I found her statement and conduct to be inappropriate. I paid $85 for a massage which was done the way it should. Therefore, I paid for the service in full. Anything I give afterwards is extra that I'm not required to give. It's not a fee. I didn't have to tip anything because there was nothing extra given to me. Regardless, shaming people for what they can afford to give extra is unappreciative and displays very poor customer service skills. read more

This is not your typical massage, so please do not go in to this expecting that. If you want a deep tissue massage with stretching then this is the place for you. The masseuse uses her whole body including feet to massage your body while holding onto bars on the ceiling at certain intervals. It is definitely an experience. I would recommend to try it at least once and see if you like it. Update: This is now my go to massage place. SO SO happy I came across this place. I'm a dermatology nurse, so my expectations from spas are very high. in addition, good customer service and knowledgeable staff are areas I will not compromise. Rarely do I get a facial, I do my peels at home and my own own regimen I'm happy with, but I've been feeling quite dehydrated and the hydrafacial piqued my interest given it wasn't a traditional facial and it utilized low strength acids. This was my 2nd one. The first one I got at another location was great, but I had no idea how superior my experience could be! Noelle was so sweet and pleasant. She took time to aaseaa my skin and was 100% honest in what I needed versus didn't need. Honesty is so hard to come by in this business, and it's always a breath of fresh air to have someone treat me as I would them in a clinical (or similar) setting. Noelle explained each step in depth as she worked on my face. Again she was really knowledgeable and didn't have the typical canned response. BEST massage EVER. As a bodybuilder I need a GOOD massage now and then. They do stretching and get in allll the knots! They are not shy. I feel so comfortable there. Not to even mention it is sparking clean. I think they even have herbs under the table so you breath them in. They included hot stones and even used tiger balm. My boyfriend and i were able to book a 90 minute couples massage the same day! They offer you a bottle of water afterwords. The staff is so friendly and their prices are so reasonable! First visit with "JJ" for an hour Thai massage, WOW. I have only had a few massages in my life and have not been that overwhelmed with any of them. This is very different! She used her whole body like a gymnast, she walked on my back with her knees (sounds strange, it was awesome), used her elbows, forearms and body weight to compress and stretch everything. No simple hand massage. This kneaded and worked me like I imagine Pilates does. I will be back soon. Can't imagine regular massage again. I was feeling down and in need of a massage. I found this place but their online system didn't have any reservations for that day. FEAR NOT. Just call and they'll make accommodations! They'll also be sure to let you know what kind of offers they have. Their trademark massage is a combination of traditional thai (or as I call it, assisted-stretching) massage with ashiatsu (yes, where they walk on your back), stone massage, and oil and swedish massage. It's a pretty eclectic mix but it works! And as the woman at the reception said, the variety helps get the most knots out. I'm not sure if there is any science behind it but I certainly enjoyed it. The place is clean and has a nice ambiance. When you arrive they give you some slippers and allow you to put your shoes in a cubby. As some others have mentioned you get a basket for clothing (which is surprisingly absent in other massage locations where you throw all your stuff on a chair) and a bottle of water at the end. They know how to treat you well! Definitely a place I would come back to in the future for a massage. read more

They gave us slippers, bottled water and a basket to put our clothes in (which all massage places do not do) and had a very specific check-in process where they asked us what areas we wanted to focus the massage on. Very clean. Everyone was really nice. I had Tina for a deep tissue massage for a very stiff/painful/upper back flanking my spine. I've been suffering this for a few years now. I never get massages but the pain got so bad I decided to try it. The 90 minute deep tissue session was awesome. She used firm pressure, hot towels, hot stones, various stretching positions, walking on my back, etc. I can truly say about 80% of my pain/stiffness is gone after a single session. Also, this is a style of massage new to me (I stopped mine only 25 min in) as they have bars in the ceiling from which they hold themselves to walk on you.
