This was without a doubt the best pedicure I've had! I was a walk in that was taken back immediately upon arrival, and my nail tech was very thorough and precise with my gel polish. I was a walk in last thursday to get nails for my 21st birthday and for my trip to nashville. When i showed the nail tech (which i believe was the owner) the design that i wanted she laughed and said "we will try our best". Granted i've gotten these nails done before at another salon and had no side comments. I got to sit down almost immediately and had a man doing my nails and then i switched back to the lady nail tech for the design. she did the white on my nails but when she added the black lines on top i realized i didn't like the design so i asked her to change them. And she got the biggest attitude with me "why did you not tell me that before" "your keeping my appointment waiting". They claim to do full sets for cheap but my nails were $70 but i was fine too it's it, because i ended up with what i wanted. Then, not even a week later my nail breaks off right where the tip is glued on. I called the salon yesterday and explained the situation and asked if i cohoe come in first thing the next morning, since i is as leaving for my trip very early the next day and she told me i needed to come in at 11 or 12 and i proceeded to tell her that i couldn't do that because i go to work at 10:30. So i get there this morning right at opening and i waited for 15 minutes which was fine. Then i sit down in the chair and she says "you do know this is going to be $8, it's not free" and I said why's that? I haven't even had them on for a week. And she proceeded to tell me that this isn't a fill and that she has to redo my whole nail and the design so i just agreed because i wanted it fixed. She then angrily takes off the left over acrylic on my nail and makes it bleed. And proceeds to put nail glue on it to stop the bleeding!!! After my nail has acrylic on it, I put it next to a heater and a horrible burning sensation happened. I asked her to remove the nail and she started hitting it w the end of a brush, which did make it feel better but it was almost like she was expecting that to happen.... Moral of the story. For the money i paid my experience was horrible. I do love my nails but this is the soul reason that i don't get them done at salons because of places like this. I would recommend going to get press ons from walmart before giving this place business!! they usually last a whole week unlike my nail!!!!! read more

Never in my life have I got acrylic nails where they don't even buff your nails after applying the acrylic. Then Michael starts applying black gel directly on un-buffed nails??? I said you forgot the bottom coat!?? He proceeds to tell me "you don't need it with acrylic ". I've never had gell put on without a bottom coat. I messaged my amazing nail guy from back home in Baltimore of 10 years, he laughed and said "your gel is going to peel off in a day." Well guess what happened in less than 24 hours!!!???? Gel peeling on all nails. My normal nail guy said they don't apply bottom coat because it's expensive and likely used cheap gel. I would STRONGLY SUGGEST NEVER COMING HERE. MAYBE THEY'LL LEARN ONEDAY BEING CHEAP WONT KEEP YOU CUSTOMERS. I WOULD HAVE CAME EVERY FEW WEEKS HAD THEY DONE THE BARE BASICS . Disgusted. I was going to this salon for a couple of months. I never felt like it was home, but that's ok. I was going to Julie because I like to get a design on my nails and she was the tech that did that. I remember her telling me that people were posting negative reviews online about them and that they were fake. I believed her then since I was new there but now I KNOW they were probably legit. The first time I went I was thrilled. Julie is fast at fill ins and she did a design for me as well I was in and out in 40 mins. It was the best price around I, I believe the first time was $35. I asked for a standing appointment and was going every two weeks. Each time I went the price went up $5. I always get a design so I asked her why is it more expensive for the same thing? She said because if you use two colors it costs more. I said painting one or two nails another color doesn't use a whole bottle of polish to charge an extra $5. She claimed it took more time. Ok Every time I go I get a design. Each time she would seem annoyed that I wanted one. If you don't want to do designs, don't advertise it in your window! Julie always rushed me and often kept me waiting. Once she even stopped doing my nails to paint designs on someone else's nails. She answers the phone so you have to wait on her for that. When a regular comes in she will pause your fill in while she sits there and talks to them. I've sat patiently through all of these issues, but when u start talking to me about your time and charging me extra to paint two nails a different color because it takes u longer, I don't appreciate that. I pay for the design, for the fill in and leave a good tip, I think I deserve the time I paid for and the service I paid for without an attitude. They don'y care about their customers because when I told her this she told me there are other nail salons around. You're 100% right Julie. I advise anyone reading this to take her advice! By The way, when I broke a nail I had the same experience as Keeley who posted about the burning when you hold it to the heat. Julie said oh I "forgot" to tell you not to hold it too close to the heat because it's a new nail " then banged it with a brush until the pain subsided. I just had a pedicure by a gentleman which was completed very quickly and was one of the worst pedicures I've ever had. Cuticles where done horribly and the nail polish is bubbled and all over the toes, polish not even on the nails and all over skin. Would not recommend this salon what so ever. I was a walk in for a toe nail polish change and they said 30 minutes which I was fine with. After 15 minutes I was rushed back and was maybe in the chair for 10. He rushed me through, buffed more of my toes than my actual nails and he cut my nails way too short and uneven where it is still painful to walk days later. Had heard great things about LA nails went for pedicure and manicure. While I had to wait I didn't mind as I was a walk in. Pedicure was great very relaxing and was very happy. Manicure however was a completely different story. The girl who had done my pedicure had wrapped up my fingernails so as to remove the shellac that was on, yet when the gentleman started my manicure ( even though the shellac was peeling off ) he filed the shellac off and over filed my nails . Julie does a great job running her nail salon! There are always many employees working, so there is never a long wait. I've gone several times and have been super impressed with the quality of my nails, and the special accents they add in the design. My first visit I got a gel coat, and it lasted for a month and a half. The only reason I had to get them redone is because of my nails growing back out! The worse nail experience! The people working there are rude. While I was getting a pedicure employees were talking and laughing so loud I was unable to relax and enjoy. The man doing the pedicure thought it would be funny to scrub my feet as hard as he can laughing the whole time. Not only was it painful he broke the pummus tool!! when I was getting my nails done the woman was on her iphone on facebook the whole time. Multiple times did she stop working on my nails to post of facebook. She did not treat my cuticles, clean under my nails or apply any lotion to my hands. The perks are that it opens at 930am, it's cheap, it wasn't a stressful process and they had awesome colors for gels. I'm glad that the staff didn't sit there a pretend to talk to me. My mom and I have been coming to Julie and Michael for years and love coming to them. I try to get in regularly to get pedicures but sometimes I am so busy with work, I have to go when I can and try have always been accommodating to fit me in, even when they are booked all day. I am not an artificial nails type, but when I do get them for special occasions, Julie uses the natural nail system she has adapted so there is no damage whatsoever to my natural nails. She has ordered me polishes that I couldn't get anywhere else and let me take them home do I can try them out before my next visit. They are just great people in general, happy to help you with anything and always put in the tea time and effort to make all of their customers happy. Absolutely a well run salon. Always greeted customers when they came in and managed large crowds well. They had me choose a nail polish color and take a seat in the message chair. A younger lady helped trim my nails and wash my feet. A older lady rubbed lotion on my lower legs and feet. Loved the massage they give while doing it! Then I was moved to the manicure station to have my nails done. The only reason I gave four stars is because the guy that did my nails did not trim or maintain my cuticles or nails at all, he just brushed them and started putting the nail polish on. The ladies that came with me were very pleased with the manicures they received so this doesn't happen for everyone. They sat me at a pedicure station where I remained for 25 minutes. Waiting. A man came over in a huff to do my nails. I read reviews about how he was rough, but I could not have imagined how rough. Ladies, when he finished I felt battered, beaten and broken. I was going to have my nails done but I paid for the pedicure and before running out in tears I told everyone in the store how this pedicure was the worse treatment I have ever experienced.
