She rarely checked on us to see if we needed anything or if everything was okay. On top of that, she failed to disclose the automatic 18% gratuity added to the bill. We did not see it posted anywhere on the menu, and if it was there, the lettering was too small and difficult to notice in the dark lighting. This absolutely should be communicated to customers when they are seated. Because of that lack of communication, she ended up receiving an additional $25 tip that was not deserved. To make matters worse, the gentleman who checked us out also failed to mention that gratuity had already been added to the bill. He hovered over us with the payment machine while we were trying to pay, which made the situation even more uncomfortable. Customers should be given space and time to properly review their bill before paying. The food was excellent, but the service and communication were disappointing. After 40 minutes beginning to fill up with people and we were off to watch the Bimini to Lake Worth 80 mile paddle boaters arrive. The charity aimed at funds for Cystic Fibrosis was also sponsored by the owners of this restaurant so win win all round. Would definitely come again for more substantial meal. I must say, the burger was absolutely delicious and the cold craft beer complemented it perfectly. The gender neutral bathroom was clean and fit the dive bar mold with an array of stickers covering the paper towel dispensor with black chalk boards wrapped around the walls. Lots of strange chalk designs but could not find the piece of chalk to leave my mark. For some odd reason half the toilet paper case was on the floor. The gray porcelain floor and wall tiles gave the shabby room a modern twist. Fun place with great burgers and an attitude.

Best part of the visit was the bartender, (who was awesome) and also functioning as the wait staff, hostess, busing tables. She was literally the only one working out front with a growing lunch crowd. The inside felt touristy and dirty. The food was average (at best). The smoke house burger was drowning in a blue cheese sauce, literally swimming on the plate, no onions and old rubbery bacon. The standard froze fries spread around the remainder of the plate. Hard pass in the future with so many other options in the area.

The wine list is very extensive and they will help you choose. We shared a bunch of tapas. My favorite was the Goat cheese and Jam Bruschetta and the provolone cheese. My hubby loved the chorizo and papas bravas with spicy sauce. My friends enjoyed the escargots and meatballs. I also ordered the Spanish tortilla which I believe was overcooked and dry.
