My mom dreams about this place still!! My boyfriend always gets the carne asada burrito. He says it was great, loves how it's wrapped and presented. He says it's delicious, but hoped it would come with a little side. But loves it. He rated it a 4.7/5. I always get the gorditas and I DREAM about them. This place is quite the gem despite its location. I wouldn't recommend the area but I am recommending this restaurant. Very very very Mexican decor on the inside. To the point of being very cheesy but interesting and authentic. Something to look at in every corner. The menu is typical but the food is enjoyable. Best rice and beans I've had. The food got to my table rather quickly. I will say I was there during lunch during the week. A much slower time. My server was very kind and willing to give her opinion on items she would choose. Recently discovered this restaurant (thanks to Edgar)... 100% my new favorite place! The homemade flour tortilla's are Incredible. I had Migas.. which aren't on the menu but my amazing server, Maty asked the cook if she could make them for me and the wonderful woman who was cooking made me a plate of awesome Migas which came with delicious refried beans and potatoes. I hate giving bad reviews but I have to. Our waitress didn't really pay attention to us at all. We had to wait forever for the check and turned around to see her conversing with another employee. But I will say overall the burrito I got is what turned me off the most. Did not taste good. Honestly kinda grossed me out that I didn't even eat more than 1/4 of it. I came for some drinks to celebrate Father's Day early and the service was great. Just that we would have to frequently have to call for attention. The drinks are not that bad for the price but to be honest the house margarita original lime is not original nor fresh. Its the lime that's already pre-made in the bottle. The mango margarita was served warm with ice on the top. The strawberry margarita was really good but too sweet. The Paloma I had ordered I asked with NO Mineral Water and it was made with mineral water cause ur able to taste it. I asked my boyfriend to try it cause he loves mineral water and it did have it. Went here on a whim as I am always on the hunt for tacos- glad we did! The restaurant is located in a shopping plaza but is very bright and colorful inside. Huge TVs along the wall, music playing, a stage and nice sized bar. We were greeted and sat upon arrival, the staff is super friendly. I think we just beat the rush as shortly after arriving the tables around us were filling. Chips and salsa (not as mild as expected but good) were brought to the table while the server took our drink order. The menu isn't huge but many options as does the kids menu! Had an absolutely wonderful experience here for dinner tonight. The decor is really nice, detailed and cute. They have 3 protectors, an area for a live band and a pool area in the back that is separated by half walls. 2 for 1 drinks all day all the time. All the chairs look hand crafted and painted. The service was so attentive that as I was taking the last sip of my 2 for 1 margarita that she set down the other one. Food was brought out quickly. The chiacharhon was the best I have ever had, the cut it thinner / smaller than other places so its all crispy but not over done at all, not greasy and they give you plenty of limes. The pupusa was ok except it was burned a bit on one side and the burnt flavor over powered the taste of the pupusa. My husband got the carne asada torta and was very disappointed. The Birria Tacos with consomé was Delicious that why I'm giving the one star but other than that I wouldn't give any stars at all. Tried this place on Wednesday evening. It's a sit down restaurant with a bar. We ordered at the bar to go. Two pastor burritos, 2 chorizo tacos, 1 Michoacáno, and 1 shrimp taco. The server was pleasant but the wait for the food ran a little long for a takeout order. We finally got our food and took it home. The pastor burritos were short on meat. The tacos were the opposite: they had plenty of meat but we're over cooked and dry, and actually a little 'cold'. They put cheese and tomatoes on the tacos contrary to traditional cilantro and onion. What a wonderful dining experience we had here. From the minute we walked in we felt a family atmosphere. Everyone was so pleasant and friendly. My wife had a plate of tacos and I had a beef burrito. The portions are huge so bring your appetite. The quality of the food is outstanding. You can tell that they take pride in their restaurant and it shows in the love they put into their cooking. We have been here several times for breakfast and margaritas. Delicioso. Great service, great food and authentic. Very colorful decor. Did I forget to mention the homemade tortillas,yum!! The women that serve us in the morning speak English so no problem with communication if you don't speak Spanish. A must try!!
