The employees were efficient and friendly. The downside is that there is a lot of deferred maintenance. It is impossible not to notice the rotting wood., stained ceiling, the windows that are so covered by mineral buildup as to be opaque. The weeds growing in the landscape. I always enjoy this car wash. The gentleman who greets you and takes your car wash selection is always nice, funny and professional. The gentleman who open your door to begin vacuuming are the same. The cashiers rotate but they are all pretty cool. I love the things they have in the store, all perfect for your car or snacking needs. The waiting area allows you to watch for your vehicles completions and if you have a favorite serviceman (like I do) you are able to run up and tell them about any special attention areas on your vehicle. Not gone lie this was the weirdest experience ever. But the customer service was awful. Not only did I leave with my car still having bird stains left on it but Upon my approach when picking my package the gentleman chose to repeatedly point out my tags being expired. When he saw that I didn't take kindly to his unfunny joke , I observed the group of men making fun of me as well as picking at the attitude I took. Did I come to get my car washed or the DMV?I was a bit confused. When I asked the girl at the front desk whether or not a scent came with my package she tried to sell me a bigger package as if I could not read AIR FRESHENER in all caps at the end of the package I had already chosen. She called the same man in to confirm WHAT I READ MYSELF. Before I finished paying my car was already on its way through the wash portion so I knew the inside of my car was still dirty and to no surprise, it was. My windows still had streaks on them, dirt in the cup holder and the man cleaning my car kept a staring at me which was a little suspect. Honestly could've kept my $30. Sharing a story not only about my car wash, but also about the integrity of an individual that helped me today. The short version of the story is that I'm very happy with the cleaning services at this car wash & that $40 in cash was returned to me today as I entered my vehicle, even after it had been to LA Palma Car Wash multiple times. Long story if you're interested.... We had taken some of my daughter's friends to dinner several weeks back. Being preteens, our friends and us have agreed to try and teach our daughters how to be more independent and responsible by paying for things themselves. The night we went out, one of our friends had given their daughter $40 to pay for dinner and other evening items. Without me knowing, she left two $20 bills way back in our 3rd row cup holder without telling me, probably assuming that I would find it later. Weeks had gone by, and recently, my wife spoke to the Mom of the girl who left the money in my car. The girl's Mom asked if I had found the money in my backseat. My wife said that I probably didn't because I had not mentioned anything to her. She also said that my car had been to the wash multiple times and that it was possible that someone found it and had kept it. I had forgotten to check my backseat, and to my delight and surprise, those two $20 bills were found and presented to me today by one of the staff at La Palma car wash. I remember a time growing up when doing the right thing was always expected and not surprising. It's amazing how that expectation has changed nowadays, but I'm also very glad to have witnessed an act of integrity that still helps me believe in the best of people! Amazing job on the wash , just not happy about this chip on my windshield, was going to wash myself and already wiped my windshield down. I had the car only a year always handwashing myself. When leaving thought it was water on the windshield, went to wipe it off and two brand new chips on windshield. No one can take blame for chip windshield. Very busy business, show up after 12 on the weekend if you want a faster turn around . They modify there tracks for wider tires and it's a great things no more paying for hand wash instead I go ahead and do the quick wax. Really helps get that shine back out . We have 24" x 9.5 rims and tires . I have to admit I enjoy washing and cleaning my own car at home but when I don't have time or we end up going out somewhere last min this is the place . read more

I'm usually very happy with washes here, but today I'm very disappointed. I just got back from a road trip with my kids and my parents' dog. I didn't notice until I got home (the front seat looked great) that it was almost like they completely skipped the back. The exterior looks great, but I'm now home cleaning the seats myself after spending almost $40 on a car wash (including tip). However, my recent visits have been the opposite of that with no air freshener even when they ask me which one I want, I think they're using dirty towels to clean because streaks were all over my car. I've been coming here since I learned how to drive (20 years ago) and I didn't mind paying a little more than other places since they did an amazing job. I've noticed that over the years, the prices were going up and the quality was going down. Today, I dropped my phone in the car but wasn't able to get it until after my car was vacuumed and went through the wash. The guy told me I could find it. I was between the seat and the center consul and they didn't find it when vacuuming. It was too hard to get it since it was sprayed with air freshener. I gave them the benefit of the doubt since I got the super (second cheapest) but when my car was "done," I noticed they did a poor job at vacuuming and wiping down my car. The two cup holders were clearly not touched along with a lot of the rest of the car. This isn't a one time thing, it's just the most recent. I think it's time to find a new place, which is sad since it's close to where I live and I had been going there forever. I hope others have a better experience but for those who've been going there for years would probably agree. read more
