I haven't been to LaParilla in YEARS!!! And I most often remember them for their margaritas and wings. Fast forward to a different season of life and we decided to try them again. Meh. It was a CROWDED Friday night at The Forum and LaParilla was BUSY. Nonetheless, we were promptly seated. We ordered an assortment of items across the five of us, Guac, wings, chimichanga, shrimp tacos, veggie fajitas, seasoned fries, plantain and a quesadilla. I only tried the guac, fries, veggie fajitas, one margarita and plantain. My food was just okay. But everyone else seemed as to enjoy their meal. Perhaps, better suited for meat-lover options. Contrary to the name, the fries weren't seasoned at all. The plantain were PERFECT. The veggie fajitas were bland and I'm not sure why tomatoes were added. BUT the rice and black beans were delicious. Again, this place is probably best suited for drinks, and meat-based meals. If you're into a crowded spot with a range of Mexican inspired options, this is your place. read more

Just no. The service was ok and the food was sub par. I would have rather have eaten at Taco Bell. Although aesthetically pleasing, the food Tastes odd and I actually took two bites and put it down. The dessert along with the rest of the meal was ok going down but actually made me sick later on. This is a chain restaurant and I think things may have gotten away from them as they grew. Traveled here to see my friends, we met in the middle, this was my 1st time at this location. Ive been to another location and the franchises is pretty consistent. Food was just perfect. We started off with table guacamole, queso dip. I ordered my usual Mexican pizza with one side beef taco and for the first time I got to see their bowls that look delicious. I definitely will try that the next time our server was Diego and he was amazing. The atmosphere is pretty loud, but it is a great place to meet for drinks or for food or both. They do have a nice size bar at this location. read more

Terrible service! My family loves La Parrilla. We eat there often at multiple locations, and I have given them a 5 star review at another location. Last night was our first time eating at the Norcross restaurant. We were seated promptly around 8pm. The restaurant was busy but not full. We were quickly given chips and salsa. We waited and waited for a server to come take our orders. We finished a basket of chips before we ever saw our server. We finally placed our food and drink order, and received both rather quickly. Food was great as usual... but we never saw our server again. No refills. We were out of drinks before our entrees arrived. We were left sitting at our table, meals finished, no drinks waiting for our server again. When we finally saw her, we asked for to go drinks and a check. She proceeded to clear our table. More waiting. Then we saw our server bringing dessert to another table, singing happy birthday at another table, and behind the main counter talking... we kept waiting. We asked another server for a manager. Our server finally returned with a check. I asked her to remove the drinks from the bill since we never had any with our meal. A manager finally came to the table and asked what was wrong. I explained this whole story and he responded that "when it's busy it's impossible to take care of everyone". He removed 2 of our 4 drinks from the bill and asked if this was ok. I told him I just wanted to go home... our bill was $84 before the two $3 each drinks were removed. Their indifference to this situation and the manager's comment that a restaurant can't be expect to provide good service to everyone is the reason for this 1 star review. We'll continue to frequent their other locations. read more

The new menu is terrible They use salad mix to hide the fact that there's a lot less meat, cheese and sour cream. They ruined my perfect meal. Salad, including cabbage and spinach, goes in a bowl, not on my quesadilla. I'd rather they just raise the price than ruin my carne molida. read more

You can never go wrong with tacos! I have dined at La Parrilla establishments before and this was my first time here. I came during dinner (6p) time and it was busy. However, the waitress and waiter were flexible and attentively aware of each customer. My order came out fast. The tacos were filling and I ended up only eating 2 tacos and taking the other one home. My waiter was friendly and did his job very well! Definitely will come back when I am in the area again :) read more

Staff was good although understaffed. David was our server, nice kid. The entire table got the beef brisket. My husband got the chicken enchiladas . Few hours later, he was very sick. It lasted all night and was throwing up the next morning. We are visiting from out of town and fly out today. Not sure how he will be on the flight back :( read more

La Parrilla serves amazing food! Yes, amazing. That may lose me Yelp street cred points, but the fact is that the steak at this restaurant is uniquely good. It has flavor elements that I've not tasted anywhere. The burrito con todo is still amazing. Ask for the salsa arbol with that, for an insanely good flavor combination. This alone has kept me coming back. I've also wondered why the average rating for this restaurant was so low. I dined in at this La Parrilla location for the first and last time recently. The service was incredibly poor. We saw our server once when she took our order and then one more time when we were 3/4 of the way done with our meal. This alone isn't that bad, but it's made worse by the fact that: 1) The restaurant wasn't busy. All of the employees were standing around and chatting with each other. This isn't a problem if your customers are still being served, but we weren't. 2) The server forgot to put in our appetizer. She then had the audacity to deliver it when we were almost done with the meal. I've been on the other side of the aisle. I get it. Sometimes shi happens. The right thing to do would be to ask us if we still wanted the app. I'm way too trusting. I've tipped on every single to go order that I've made here. How many people do you think tip consistently on to go orders? Unfortunately, after this experience, I sadly can't return to a place that has one of my favorite things to eat. read more

I decided to go to the bathroom to wash my hands as I ordered tacos and their employee had the mouth up on the faucet and washing his mouth with it. He saw me and did not say much and stayed there for a few mire minutes. I saw the manager walking by and I told her what the guy was doing. I also told her that perception is reality and that it was disgusting to see a someone brush their teeth and place their mouth all over the faucet at a restaurant. Not only that, he left all the food remnants in the sink. A few minutes later he walks by and he is working at the bar. I understand that we need a good breath to work with the clients. However, this was a bit much. Use a mouth wash or something. The overall restaurant is great but I am not sure that I am going back anytime soon. I love everything about this restaurant. :-) This was me and my husband's first time here, and the waitress and manager made sure we were satisfied with the service. When we first entered, we were greeted, walked to our table by the host, and another lady brought us some salsa and chips. Than our waitress Luz came and greeted us. Our waitress took our order for drinks. I had pink lemonade, my husband had water, and a Dos Equis XX Amber 32 ounce draft beer. Once she brought our drinks, we placed our order. I had the shrimp and steak fajita, and my husband had fajita rice with shrimp and my husband requested 2 fried eggs. The manager greeted us and asked was everything greet. We let him know that we were extremely pleased and will visit again. :-) This was our first time dining here, so we received a "Welcome dessert" after we packed our take out trays, since we were stuffed. The food, drinks and service are consistent. The atmosphere is always great and I've never really had a bad experience there. Their dip is amazing (just wish it would come out hot and stay hot), guess that means I just need to eat it faster. Their food is so much better than other Mexican restaurants in the area. It may not be 100% authentic, but it fits the bill. Since the owner also owns the meat distribution company, they get the top cuts of meat "A" grade. And they distribute to some 1000+ restaurants in the Southeast. The quality of meat you're getting will be better than most restaurants. read more

The service is terrible, we noticed is a new crew serving the tables and new manager. The flour tortillas are smaller than the ones we used to get. The staff was tense and running behind with drinks, refills and I had to go ask a random server for extra napkins. Asked for a plate to eat my food and never got it. 3.5 stars but rounding up. Location is great because there are tons of shops within walking distance. The restaurant is fairly small inside and gets super loud so hard to hear your table. It's also incredibly warm as if the air isn't working most of the time. Portions are good, but takes a while to get the food out to you which isn't common with Mexican restaurants. For dinner, I got the Ensenada Fish, breaded Tilapia taco with flour tortilla filled with coleslaw, chipotle mayo and jalapenos with rice and beans. Very tasty! All side items were of good quality and decent portions. The service was quite rough and it took more than an hour to get our meals. My order was correct, but a lot of the other orders in my party required corrections. And the staff seemed disorganized and was very inattentive. My wife and I visited La Parrilla for our weekly date night. I've been to La Parrilla before, but never this location. This restaurant is located within The Forum on Peachtree Corners. Since it's within this community, there's PLENTY of spacing for parking. The Food: I ordered the "Carne Asada" ($17.99), which according to their website is "Grilled skirt steak presented on a bed of sizzling onions and bell peppers, and garnished with a Cambray onion. Served with Mexican rice, Mexi-beans, lettuce, pico de Gallo, guacamole and sour cream." The flavor of this steak was delicious. The onion and bell pepper flavor can be tasted within the steak. Highly recommend if you want steak. Drink: I ordered Margarona, which is obviously a Corona bottle submerged into a margarita. The 20 oz. was $9.99. Not a bad price if you ask me. I could definitely feel the drink by the time I finished it along with my meal. They also have a 32 oz. for $13. Overall, I enjoyed the experience here. read more

Never got a refill on soda or water. This is important to me in the US. Chips were thin and warm. Salsa is runny. One thought it was too spicy, the rest of us thought it was mild. Buts it's a purée.
