25 Mar 2023 Ate here during the Natalia Bluebonnet Festival. Solid Tex-mex. The husband had the short ribs special. They were more like three thinly cut steaks, but decent none the less. Served with nopalitos and refried beans. I had the puffy taco plate. Nice crunch. Served with rice and refried beans and your choice of tortillas. Iced tea is pretty good. Service is good. Our server was around when needed. The restaurant is only one half of the place the rest is a meat market, grocery store and souvenir shop. Pretty cool. Go there when in the area. read more

Not sure why there are so many lackluster reviews of this place. Service is good. White queso is really good & the pastor & chicken meat is really well marinated. I had a Torta with the fluffiest bread & stuffed with meat. Wife & my sister both had chicken taco plates which I helped finish. Good white corn tortillas with juicy chicken filling. Chips are homemade & better than the thin bland ones from Tennessee. Salsa is also . Prices are very reasonable. read more

the worst place ever do not eat here !!!!!!!. ive gone here for years & this past 2 years they messed up every single order. but today i was being lenient& gave them other try. i ordered 12 bean & cheese tacos & they charged me $20 !? when i got home & checked every single taco half of them were js beans & the other half were js small cheese portions , not even on the taco.. mind you the beans were bland ! no flavor !!! i called & complain & they couldn't do nothing about it & js kept repeating that they put cheese in the tacos , i told them i wanted my money back & they said no since my family already ate some. i want my money back bc charging me $20 for 12 tacos is insane!!!!!!!!!!! i would give yall no stars if i could ! worst people here. can't even talk to me right without getting mad & hanging up on me. read more

Good food and great service. Tortillas are always fresh and hot. You never have to wait long.

Their Barbacoa breakfast plate is perfect! Their beans taste like authentic Mexican refried beans. The potatoes were crispy with a soft center. I also had their homemade lemonade and even that was very good! I have nothing bad to say about this place. The ladies that have served us the last couple of times were great. 1st of all yall are so rude to the customers 2nd of all listen to the customers and maybe you will be able to get the orders right and 3rd masks are required well have your waitress do so also cuz this is a very serious dangerous and deadly virus. Look at picture so you all need to follow it if u expect others to do so also. And you need to improve with your tortillas cuz you can taste that they are old and not fresh. I was in the area so I stopped by for dinner. I should have left when I saw the menu was smeared with food, but I didn't I stayed and ordered the Picadillo plate, which is ground beef with rice and beans. I knew I wasn't going to like it when my order was coming to me in LESS than 3 minutes...I was right, I didn't like it. Everything, the ground beef, beans and rice were all room temperature. I tasted everything and nothing had flavor. I thought mexican food was supposed to be alive with flavor, this was dead on arrival!!! Your average Mexican breakfast. Good food for the price. Service was quick. You can even go grocery shopping while you are there!

It's inside of a grocery store but the restaurant portion is roomy and divided inside from the store. These guys have really good food. You can get breakfast tacos or various breakfast plates with pancakes, eggs, sausage etc. They also serve Mexican plates which are really good too. We've often drove the 8-10 miles or so to eat there. I feel like the prices are pretty much on par with most other Mexican restaurants. read more

Breakfast tacos are 99 cents in the morning and the tortilla soup is the best. The plates are a little pricey though.
