This is a really great spot. Easy parking, pleasant ambience and awesome sandwiches! We had the italiano sandwich, a muffeletta sandwich and a papa georgio sandwich with lentil soup and chips. Super fast friendly service and nice ambiance with wonderful Italian music playing in the backdrop. Trey also have breakfast menu that looked delicious we went with lunch # 13 and # 15 and tomato soup. They were busy so allow about 20 min wait. Quick amazing food made with care and wrapped up in butcher paper. This is a must stop if you are in the quaint downtown area. The turkey was shaved and piled onto a fresh baked bun. The shredded lettuce, fresh tomato and aioli were a top notch choice to go with this menu staple. They have this on the board as #1, and I couldn't agree more. They cherry BBQ chips were a unique choice that I'm not sure I would get again, however something new to try. Sweet, salty, and a tiny bit of heat made them truly original. This is the perfect addition for downtown Farmington. Everything was delicious, staff was friendly and a nice stead flow of patrons. I had the #3 The Italiano along with a bowl of Minestrone. The sandwiches here taste great--no doubt about that. Fresh bread, solid toppings, and they clearly know how to build good flavor. But honestly, the portion of protein was disappointing. For the price, I expected more than a few thin slices of meat. It felt more like a snack than a meal. Also, the weekend rush is rough. Long waits, no seats, and it just doesn't seem like they're staffed enough to keep up. If you're going to try it, go on a weekday--you'll probably have a better time. For $14 i was expecting it to be really packed with meats and cheeses. Sandwich was nice looking but once you split it open i started to feel let down. Well maybe its tasty at least? I probably should of dissected it to see what was on it. Not Really much flavor. I didnt taste much more than the ham and turkey and lettuce and provolone. No tomatoes. Very little onion. I didnt taste any dressing. I was hoping to like this place and come back to try the muffuletta. Just as well i see they by the menu it isnt a true muffaletta .Who ever heard of one without olive salad on it? I dont know if i caught them at a bad time or what? Sandwiches are too small for the price. I could go to New Jersey and get a better Sandwich 3 times the size, for less than $20. You're better off going to Jersey mikes. My husband got a hot meatball Sandwhich. The bread was fresh and soft, there was plenty of melted cheese, 5-6 good sized meatballs (that were amazing), with marina sauce that was on point. I got my dream version of a caprese sandwich. The bread was soft and lightly crunchy on the outside with so much motzarella and basil. There was the perfect amount of basil and EVO, and the balsamic reduction was the perfect blend of sweet and tangy. We had five sandwiches. They were all so good if I lived in Farmington or in the near area I would be here at least once a week if not more that's how good they are so try them out. New place to downtown Farmington and it's fantastic! This is their second location and it's perfect, almost across the street from the Fresh Thyme plaza. Plenty of parking behind the restaurant. This definitely has the ambiance of a classic Italian sandwich shop! There are a few tables inside and a couple outside as well. The menu had a lot of variety on it and both sandwiches I tried were really good! The number 1 turkey had a delicious aioli on it and it was overflowing with turkey! The bread was fresh as well. The number 7 was a delicious warm sandwich with prosciutto, ricotta and fig jam. It all worked together so well and tasted amazing! Saw this place from the parking lot and walked in for breakfast. Customers walking in and out all looked so happy to be here. I had Breakfast at Caesars with marinara on the side (personally can't do marinara on eggs). Delicious! And once the eggs were gone, I dipped the mozzarella covered potatoes into the marinara... they make it fresh here and it is SO GOOD! The owner is such a nice guy. Coffee was great too. I've been wanting to try this place for a while now. Stopped in for a sandwich and ordered carry out. After perusing the choices I settled on the Italiano. Place was pretty crowded for a a Saturday. Very prompt and friendly service. I think I waited less than 10 minutes. I should've taken a photo of it but we ate it too quickly. The bread was so amazing! Soft but with a little crunch on the outside. The lunch meat was all quality and the Italian dressing complemented the ingredients of the sandwich perfectly. Costs are a little on the high side but nothing outlandish for a sandwich of this quality. I'll be back! read more
