Giving them 2 stars because their food used to be good... I think the name of the truck that is there on the weekends is called Tito's. Anyways, I've been multiple times and twice they've charged me $1 or $2 extra for things because I ordered in English and when my partner went to order they said a lower price I just went there around 2 and never go there right when they're about to close. I asked if they were still open & they says yes. The burrito was dry and a lot of tortilla. So disappointed because my family used to love to go on the weekends. Tortillas are hella fresh!!! Can't get much better than this... We stopped by on a Sunday afternoon for lunch. It was HELLA PACKED!!!!!! Standing room only, and a line about 10 or 15 people deep. You know its going to be amazing food when you see this. And you know it is going to be authentic AF when you are the only white dude there! Their jamica drink was fantastic! Not overly sweet like other places! And the horchata was great as well. It had the perfect balance of cinnamon, other places tend to over do the cinnamon. The seating was family style, so we got to chill with strangers which was kinda fun! It is a great place to people watch if you are into that. Now... on to the best part, the TACOS!!!! By FAR the best tacos I've had in my life. Hands down, nothing even comes close! I killed four tacos, and was full as hell. The Lengua tacos were orgasmic, and by far the best I've ever had. They will cut it any thickness off a big hunk of meat right before your very eyes! They have the best meat of anywhere I have purchased. Put the trimmings in small baggies and freeze them. Later, give them to your chickens periodically as a treat. You have no chickens? Get some or give them to wild birds ( if you feed birds ) in the winter time when it is wet. That added fat will be helpful for them produce "preen gland" oil for their feathers so they can waterproof their coats. It's a kind of situation where you stepped in and completely feel out of place. But the best Birria is here; they have 3 different kinds, de shivo, de res, and de borrega. I've tried shivo and it was the best... it came with some warm-handmade tortillas that were thin but still chewy. (We sprinkled some salt then fold/rolled them up. I've been coming to this place for my steaks for years... Since even before they added the menu of offerings in English. These guys are great. You walk in, tell them what kind of meat and cut you are looking for, and they retrieve arm loads of it out of their huge walk-in fridge. Then, right in front of your eyes, they slice the steaks to your thickness specifications AND trim all the outer fat off of the meat before bagging and weighing it for you. Not only that, but they have on hand all the produce you could ever want to accompany your meal! Seriously, if the service wasn't enough, you will end up paying 2+ dollars less per pound then you would in the grocery stores. The butcher shop is the place to go for fresh meat. The always ask how you want it cut and perfectly please you. All is very nicely priced.
