The woman working at the counter was friendly as well. Feeling hungry for lunch, my mom and I ordered a pupusa with beans, cheese, and pork along with a chicken empanada (the empanada order comes with 2). All of the food tasted homemade and very delicious. The pupusa had the right amounts of filling. The empanadas had a crispy exterior and a nice cheese pull as you bit into them. The chicken was also very juicy and tender. Note that the pupusa included with beans, cheese, and pork comes out cheaper than the pupusa included with just cheese and pork... Go figure! The only downside is that they don't offer dessert, but I'll definitely return next time to try more items on their menu... including their tacos! Highly recommend.

Anyway, all the steaks were cooked pretty well, though my favorite was certainly the skirt steak. Full of umami and juicy as can be, this steak was delicious. The ribeye was cut a bit too thin for me, which why we had to return it the first time due to being overcooked. The new ribeye was cooked properly. The carne asada in the Bandejo Paisa was a bit tough, but extremely flavorful. Rest of the plate was good too. We also had two seafood dishes, which were both decent. Sadly, the service didn't really match the food quality. It was mostly absent for the entire meal. Then when we returned the ribeye, the owner showed clear dismay and sarcastically pointed out that our gray colored steak was edible. Sorry, but we ordered it medium rare. We should not be receiving any attitude for a steak that had zero pink left in the center. Please adjust your attitude. Ultimately, the food is good enough for us to return.
