Something happened to La Perla. We had been there twice in the past couple months. We have recommended it. But with our most recent visit there has been a noticeable decline in quality. The red sauce on enchiladas and burritos were not with the Mexican spice flavor you would expect. The sauce was almost flavorless with a appearance of tomato sauce. The fact that a critical ingredient in Mexican food was a big miss was concerning. Additionally the serving sizes were a bit smaller. Refried beans, rice all less quantity. read more

This is a little place inEustis but it's charming inside. The food was authentic and delicious. They had a nice hot salsa and the margarita was strong and delicious. They have a full range of beers, great selection of tequila and good prices. Will go back and have recommended this place to friends as a little gem. read more

Awesome restaurant! I've visited this little hidden gem about five times. Sometimes I come alone most of the time with coworkers, It never disappoints! The servers are friendly and the food is excellent! They even have mariachi I believe on Fridays. The decor is fresh and always immaculately clean. We visited this restaurant with my family while visiting Florida. The service was friendly but slow. It took a long time to place our orders and to get them. We all received our food except my sister, and we had to wait a while before our server came by to check on everything. He said the kitchen had made it using the wrong protein. She ordered it as it was listed on the menu, but they made it different. By the time she received her meal, the rest of us were finished. She asked to take it to go, but the server kept insisting she eat "at least half". She told him she did not want to, but he said it again and again. He did not return with her box for quite some time. Her meal was comped, but it wasn't a pleasant experience for her. I am giving it 3 stars because my good was fine and the atmosphere was nice. read more

Super impressed! We really wanted Mexican and decided to give this new place a try. The remodel of the building is sensational. It used to be so dark. Now it is clean, bright, and vibrant. Our server was great. They work together so everything flowed smoothly. They were efficient and friendly. We began with chips and salsa. The chips are light and crispy. The salsa has a smokiness and a kick to it. I ordered the fajita quesadilla. Wow. So yummy. My husband ordered the fajita trio. We loved both dishes. We will definitely be back! read more

Had a wonderful dinner here with coworkers. We had multiple dietary needs (gluten-free, vegan, vegetarian) and this place handled it all! They even have a special vegetarian section of the menu but other items can be adjusted as well. The inside was nice and the service was great. Would love to sit outside if the weather was better. We've been coming to this location for years but this is the third business to occupy it during that time. The ambiance is enjoyable; nice decor, not too loud. The service has been really good most times we've eaten here. If the group is more than about 6 they seem to struggle with timing on the food, keeping up with refills etc. The drinks are really good and Taco Tuesday is great!! I love their salsa too. Definitely a regular place for meeting up with my sons as they love it too. read more

The first time we came here we were TOTALY IMPRESSED! The food and service were absolutely assume! Too Good to be true. My wife and I enjoyed the Burrito Verdi so much we were afraid to go back and be disappointed as happens so often. We did go back three days later, ordered the same meal and the meal was still Assume! The same goodness. This is now one of our favorite restaurants in Florida. I'm so glad we found this place. My son wanted Mexican for lunch. We arrived around 11am and were greeted immediately and decided to sit outside. Our orders were taken immediately. My son ordered the steak fajita quesadilla and i ordered the Berrian and carnitas tacos. The Berria tacos were delicious. I neglected to ask for no onions but I ate the Taco anyway it was so good. It comes with a dipping broth from the meat. My son also loved his quesadilla. He normally isn't a big eater but he ate the entire plate. Carla was very sweet and answered some questions I had. They had no table ready for us. The margaritas were awful. Two people in our party had them and they both made an awful face when they tried them. Our waiter brought the wrong food to folks in our party, then the head waitress said she would make it right.
