The look of this place is so fun and kitschy! You can smell the kitsch. It kinda adds to the experience. Server was great. But... we were there for about 2 hours... Just about filled up on chips and salsa. It's an interesting salsa! i think it had lots of black pepper? Chips were brittle and kinda greasy. My gf enjoyed her drink I just had a water. Food was okay. They were out of carnitas so we had the other pork option. Not great. It's a fun place if you're in the area to get drinks and maybe enjoy a appetizer. But besides that i wouldn't recommend it on the flavor.

So good ! My husband had the burrito grande , yes huge. Brought half home . I had chicken pollo something. Yummy rice with seasoned chicken on top . Fast, friendly, our local favorite .

The food was so good. We really enjoyed it. You get a lot of food for the price. We will be retuning to try other things on the menu!

Came here for dinner with friends on Saturday evening. We had 6 adults and a baby. No wait, the restaurant was empty except for a few tables. Once our party arrived we ordered drinks, which took some time considering everyone else in the restaurant had been there some time and had drinks already. I ordered queso and my friend ordered the table-side guac for appetizers. Both were delicious, but our server didn't bring any plates for the guacamole, and having a large table sharing we needed somewhere to put the guac and queso. When I asked for plates, he brought out 2.... So I shared one with my friend. I would have asked for more but he disappeared after dropping off the 2. Our food came out after some time and in waves. My order was incorrect but I was hungry and didn't want to wait for it to be fixed or have everyone feel like they couldn't eat because I didn't have my meal. The server did ask if I wanted it fixed (when he brought it out he told me they made the wrong thing) so kudos for the awareness, and not his fault for the kitchen's mistake. The food was pretty good. Not the best tacos ever, but enjoyable for sure. My friend said she loved the rice! The Margaritas were definitely hitting correctly so kudos to the bartender too. I had to flag down our server to get my friend's daughter a refill. Although her glass was empty when the food was brought out. Little thing, but as a former server myself I notice that kinda stuff. All in all the meal was good. We had a lovely catch up, and some tasty bites. We did agree that it would have been a nightmare had the restaurant been busy. Our food took over 30 mins to come out and the place was basically empty. I didn't use the restroom but some of our party did and warned it wasn't great...but I can't fairly speak to it as I didn't go in my self. I want to give them another try and see what that experience is like. I'll be sure to keep you updated!

I forgot to take a picture of my soup and the tacos my boyfriend had but they were both delicious and generously portioned. The agua Fresca was DELICIOUS. The service was great and it was a really cute restaurant with some instagrammy spots on it.

I love this place. A hidden gem and the best and most authentic Mexican you'll find in the Lake County area. Eduardo ("Eddy") and his Mom make a fantastic team of warm/convivial host and amazing chef. The authentic tacos are exactly as advertised. Squeeze a lime over that seasoned beef, fresh cilantro and hand-chopped white onion in a homemade corn tortilla and the gates to heaven open. And I used to think of quesadilla as Tex-Mex or a kids' meal. No more. The steak quesadilla is to die (or kill) for. And the wings? Some of the best I've ever had. Normally I wouldn't order wings when I'm at a Mexican joint, but Eddy gave me a plate of the mango habanero wings for free to see if he could change my mind, and now I'm HOOKED.

Our team went here today night. Natalie was our server and was EXCELLENT! The overall rating was 114 out of 125. Atmosphere scored 23 - Service 25, food quality 24, food portion 24, value 19. (Each category can score 25) Value was lowest as most of felt the food was a little pricey. We would recommend this place to everyone.

We came to this place to take on their famous 6lb burrito challenge. I had the burrito, which was very good and also much larger than expected. Beatrice was an incredibly nice server. They have a very wide selection of food items on their menu. I will definitely be back next time I am in the area to try some other, smaller, options and to see Beatrice again. And check my photo on the wall for finishing the burrito

This is a cute restaurant in a strip mall near Publix, it's very clean and the staff here was very friendly and accommodating with great timing. We ordered our drinks and a few dishes of queso to go with our complimentary chips and salsa. There's a host of special lunch items on the back of the menu that are priced reasonably and the portions are adequate. I ordered the Birria Platter with flour tortillas which came with refried beans and rice, the meat was very flavorful and extremely tender which I really enjoyed, my associates ordered street tacos, burritos and enchiladas no one had any complaints and there were four empty plates when the luncheon was done. There staff here was very friendly and attentive and the food arrived from the kitchen hot and delicious this is definitely a restaurant I'd return too...

The staff is usually good - they stay busy and on the go, so service is pretty casual. It is a smaller, strip mall size restaurant - but there always seems to be a table available. I typically get the Burritos Texanos or Carnitas platter - and the cheese chile rellenos and enchiladas are also good and traditional. Everything is pretty simple, and well-executed - which is why we make the drive across town because we know it will be consistent. House margaritas are always perfectly made. The prices might be on the higher end overall, but the food is fast & hot.

IMHO the very best Mexican food in Central Florida. The table-side guacamole is out of this world. We ate ever drop risking being too full for the meal. Four meals - Shrimp Tacos, Carne Asada tacos, Carne Asada and Shrimp Al Chipotle. Every One was wonderful, cooked perfectly and served beautifully. The atmosphere is young and vibrant. The service was perfect. The Margaritas were large and delicious. We wanted to go back again the next day! After dinner, while strolling thru charming downtown Eustis, we ran into a friend who happened to be chatting with the owner so she introduced us. I gave him a congratulatory handshake for a wonderful meal. We'll DEFINITELY be back often.

We were about to…read moredrive out to Altamonte Springs for a birthday dinner, but on a whim we checked the menu online for Rosa Mezcal, which opened last year in downtown Eustis -- and we're glad we did. First impression: spotless. The host stand and dining room were immaculate -- not easy for a building that dates back to 1884. The bathrooms were equally clean. Before we even sat down, chips and salsa hit the table, and that pace of attentive service never slowed. Drinks arrived quickly, food came out quickly, and everything was consistently on point. There were at least a dozen occupied tables, so this wasn't staff boredom -- it was genuine operational excellence. Happy Hour was a surprise highlight: 2-for-1 20 oz Modelo drafts and 12 oz house margaritas. Highly recommend Tajín rims on both. The chips, salsa, and queso dip were excellent -- and we definitely overate it because everyone still ordered full entrées. I had the Salmon with Mango Pico de Gallo, vegetables, and rice -- a large, thin fillet lightly seasoned with Old Bay, and topped with diced mango, tomato, and green pepper. At $20 (Feb 4, 2026), that's a strong value. All price points were very reasonable. Around the table we also had: Carne Asada Enchiladas Poblanas (with classic mole sauce) Portobello Mushroom Fajitas (vegan-approved) Whole Fried Snapper All were perfectly prepared. The only "complaint" came from our vegan daughter, who insisted the snapper made eye contact with her once or twice. We'll absolutely be back.

The three of us ordered the $15.99 3 white enchiladas platter and the $14.99 3 ground beef tacos platter to share, ate until we were full and still took home a to-go-box. The restaurant brought us extra plates and serving spoons so we could split the food into individual portions with ease. It's possible to substitute sides without an extra charge, and we love the freedom of being able to customize. I love the Mexican rice with refried beans. Therefore, I substituted the lettuce, tomato and sour cream "salad" side that comes with the three enchiladas for refried beans, making the sides Mexican rice and refried beans. The tacos came with cilantro rice, which tasted like standard cilantro rice. My mom preferred the Mexican rice instead. The tacos only come with one side and adding refried beans is not cheap; it's an additional $4.99. The tacos were stuffed and the filling overflowed onto the plate. The taco shell tasted good, but the shell wasn't up the task of holding all those ingredients and broken apart a little more than half way through. It was finished with knife and fork but still remained delicious. The chips and salsa are plentiful. They volunteered refills. We accepted extra salsa which we used for extra seasoning on the tacos. The restaurant decor is basic Mexican themed - substantial wood chairs, tables and booths. However, booths and chairs have both seats and backs padded for comfort. There is a stocked bar along the back wall, but it's not a "bar scene" place. It's an option for singles dining alone who don't want a table or a space to grab a drink while waiting for your party. There was a large television tuned to a sports station for entertainment. There is outdoor seating, which is directly off the shopping center's parking lot. Therefore, cars line the outdoor sidewalk/eating area. What the outdoor area lacks in ambiance, it makes up for by being dog friendly.

The service has always been friendly, attentive, and welcoming. You can tell they genuinely care about their customers and take pride in what they do. My family and I have celebrated countless birthdays and special occasions here over the years, often bringing large groups because we know we can always count on a great experience. The staff does an excellent job, even when our party is large, and they consistently make everyone feel welcome. The restaurant is always clean and has a warm, inviting atmosphere, making it a comfortable place to enjoy a meal with family and friends. It's not easy for a restaurant to maintain this level of quality and consistency for over a decade, but they've done exactly that. If you're looking for authentic, delicious Mexican food with excellent service, this is the place to go. I highly recommend it.
