My husband and I came here for a lunch date. Great decor and ambiance. Fresh food. We ordered the queso dip - good. Chips came out warm. My husband and I shared the fajitas trio - very good. My husband got the mango margarita and liked it a bit too much. I ordered the juice "Fresca" guava (eh) and mango-passion fruit (delicious!). They were out of the appetizer I wanted which was disappointing. Reasonable prices. Clean bathrooms. Our server was helpful and had good recommendations. Food came out fairly quick. No complaints! We ordered some tacos and a kids quesadilla with chicken and it did not disappoint !! The young man Eugenio at the bar brought us some hot sauce to have with my tacos and boy was it good. Home made! What a delightful and tasteful establishment to find tucked away in your backyard. I had the distinct pleasure of dining here last evening with some friends, at their recommendation. Wow, my expectations were exceeded and then some to say the very least. The food, service, staff, decorum and cleanliness were all simply top notch. The mariachi band who plays requests was just the cherry on top who catered to all ages and tastes. The only thing else I can say is I'll be going back very soon for more. What a wonderful surprise. New owners have completely redone the interior, opening up the back room and the 2nd floor for more dining. A brand new menu offers items we haven't had before at a Mexican restaurant. My better half had the Burrito California and I had the Burrito El Mamalon. Both entrees were delicious and of a generous quantity. The owner/manager stopped by several times to see how we were doing. A new bar (beautiful with marble top) was installed for those who want to socialize, imbibe and eat. Only suggestion would be to add some garnish (lettuce, tomato, etc.) which we will simply request the next time we go. Strongly recommend. We need to support this local business! read more

Was very disappointed with our visit last night. We were seated outside and did not receive good service and the food was lacking. We had to wait over 20 min for our drinks and every time the waitress came to the table she forgot to bring them or anything else we asked for. It was not a busy night. The chicken was sliced very thin and cooked very dry. The tortillas were bought for the plate when we were almost done. The taco didn't have any cheese and she bought the cheese after we were done. Sorry but this is unacceptable. Was really looking forward to going after new owners but I don't think we'll be back. read more
