We've been coming to this spot for years, and it's still just as amazing. The tacos are always packed with meat and definitely worth the price. The carne asada, al pastor and the cabeza tacos are excellent. Tried quesabirrias this time and they were GOOD! Their fresh, warm pan dulce is always great to go. One thing I really love is that you can customize your order as you go, they ask exactly what you want on your tacos, burritos, and other dishes. The service is always fast and great! Well, this place is a hidden gem, I would say. East of the 78 on Mission. I am sure they have been there a long time, too. THE BEST SALSA bar, hands down! Everything is there, from Mexican pastries, a tortilla factory, a meat market, to the delicious food! You order, and then tell the gal what toppings you would like, and so many choices! Oceanside kind of has a drought of good Mexican food but this place is an exception for sure. The California burritos are huge and the quality of meat is nice. This place used to be super good. The food was always on point and the service wasn't too bad. Unfortunately something must of happened because I haven't been in a while, and honestly after tonight probably won't be back. The food was old tasting, and barely worth eating. I got two carne asada burritos, and four rolled tacos. The burritos were barely edible, and absurdly large. The rolled tacos were stale and after two bites just thrown away. All this for the whopping price of $54 of money basically just lit on fire. Having gone here for years minimally once a week I will not be back nor can I recommend this place.
