Girl at the register was very nice. I remember when their cheese enchiladas were $6 and now $9,20. I wouldn't pay that again. I requested no lettuce because I hate hot lettuce. They omitted the diced tomatoes and guacamole which I would have liked. The aquacate sauce was very thin and not creamy as it usually is. The cheese inside the enchiladas was not melted. Our friend from church asked to join her here. We'd never been. The young man at the cash register was so patient and so helpful! Soooo patient, we were a lot of ppl, sooo many kids lol. I didn't see what my friend got, i think one if the items was a California burrito. She said it was so good. My husband got the fish burrito, don't judge how he eats his burrito, no hay en Peru lol. I got a bean cheese burrito kids meal because my daughter had already ate at her church youth event so she just wanted the fries. I ate the kids size bean n cheese burrito and was full 1/2 way through. They really pack them! They don't skimp on anything! Fries crunchy and delicious. Our drinks were yummy too. I got pineapple, gave the orange blast to my husband because he liked it. Daughter got sprite and son horchata, he loves horchata. Not sure what all my friend got. Thank you all so much. In Oceanside, looking for some good Mexican food, I stumbled upon Señor Panchos. From the outside it doesn't look like much at all, and the inside is very small and simple. They have a pretty big menu, everything you would expect to find. I went with the combo plate which comes with 2 items and a side of beans and rice. It was a perfect amount of food! Everything tasted pretty good, but the cheese enchilada didn't seem to be heated all the way through, the cheese wasn't melted at all, so that was the only thing I wasn't thrilled with. There's a salsa bar on the inside where you can get as much salsa as you like, so I tried them all and they were all very good! A nice range of mild to spicy. Not sure if this is same management as it was in 1986, the same building for sure , I lived here in the mid 80's, and always stop by when I visit the area, great values, great salsa bar, never fails to satisfy. Ceviche shrimp tostado and steak tacos were great, and the old standby of 5 rolled tacos were just as I remember. Indoor service is the way to go, you get to load up on the sauces that way. This is the best service I have received at senor pancho, female employee was funny from the start, very sweet and very enthusiastic about her job! I wasn't able to catch her name but she was there 12/5/25 around 12pm! I hope manager can acknowledge the amazing employee he has working! One thing that did upset us was the wait time, we waited at the window at least 20 mins for our food in the drive through. If I could give zero stars I would. This is the worst Mexican spot I've gone to. The meat is not season properly and is so bland even if you add hot sauce it's still nasty. I literally came here twice starving and was not able to finish my food both times. They also forgot to give me guacamole every time I order it. Maybe I'm a bit biased because I'm used to eating good Mexican food in south San Diego but what's facts is that this place is not celiac friendly at all, nor is it gluten free friendly. The corn tortillas have flour in them. The employees don't know or don't care if there's flour but they 100% do. The first time I came here I thought I was mistaken, but after I came here a few times and we experience severe pain in my stomach, I know that is not gluten-free. They also did a horrible job labeling their menu and don't provide full detail of what is going to be on there. If you ask employee, what's on there they don't know either apparently. Usually if I experience this problem at restaurants, I look on their website or look up the photo online, to see it. This is not one of those places you can do that. If I ask friends that are familiar with the cuisine or search on Google the name of the item on the menu, it will just be something completely different. That's not necessarily always an issue however, at this particular place they don't even create the dish better than the original way it suppose to be. This place is just such a disappointment it will ruin your entire day and appetite. Now I'm hungry while my stomach is bloated and in pain. read more

My family has owned restaurants for many years ... and there are certain things that are simply a cost of business, such as to go where napkins, plastic forks, and knives to go. It's all factored into the price of the product. Sometimes people take to go sometimes they don't but when you average it all out it's fine anyway this restaurant, I asked them for a large cup of water or few small cups of ice water. I'm allergic to certain foods and I requested to replace an ingredient I am allergic to. Upon inspection of the burrito I found the ingredient I specifically asked to omit from the burrito. I miss the old salsa, what happened? It taste like just tomato sauce now, it has no spice whatsoever. I was thinking last time maybe it was just a bad batch that day but no just reconfirmed today. Pretty disappointed, a good Mexican food joint needs a spicy salsa or you just can't even feel complete while eating your food. I was coming here often but not anymore.
