    Breakfast Burrito
    Gabe F.

I was downtown early this morning enjoying the cool, cloudy, peaceful scenery and stopped by an old favorite OG Colimas for a breakfast burrito and take a look at this big ol thick girl here. A monster, heavy and filled with eggs, bacon, potato and cheese. Tasty and filling. This is just half. A little pricey as everything is these days, but you can split this burrito. Ask for extra salsa (red) for me because I used 2 easily on just half. Will be back again, just like old times.

Ordered bfast 'riter (bacon, eggs, beans, pico). Colima has def picked up the game since last time. Still pricey but totally worth it for the SIZE. Huge. Massive. Tortilla was grilled to perfection, perfect ratio of innards. Service is always spot on and they NEVER get an order wrong when you ask for substitutions (aka me all the time). Great outdoor seating to enjoy the sun or indoor seating if you hate the sun lol

I tried this place for the first time after having it recommended by some long time fans. Their burritos are huge! Worth the cost because it's easily 2 meals if you want. I ordered the surf and turf burrito with pico and guac on the side. It came with rice and peppers inside. It was piping hot the entire time I was eating it. Loaded with shrimp! And the carne asada was delicious. I tried my boyfriend's Cali burrito and I normally don't like those but this was excellent! The best one I've ever tried. There was plenty of seating for our party of 10. The staff were very friendly as well. Can't wait to come try their breakfast burrito!

California Burrito the size of a Wee Baby!

Inconsistency has dropped this once favorite from 5 stars to 3 stars. Portions are still enormous but lack of them checking for missing items cost someone in our party to not have dinner and leaving ingredients out of items is a recipe for an unhappy diner. Tonight they left out a shredded chicken burrito and also the guacamole on a carne asada burrito. This has happened a couple times and might be the straw that broke the camels back. Time we give some other places a chance to earn our business. No more chances for now. Colima's is just average.

I enjoyed my California burrito! It was so good and was a giant burrito but it was $17! Very expensive for a fast food place but delicious nonetheless. Very quick friendly service and lots of seating.

5/5 While strolling the pier in Oceanside, we stopped at a donut shop and happened to spot a Mexican restaurant just across the street--so glad we did! It was our first time there, and although we weren't super hungry, we decided to pop in and share a plate. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. We told them we were just looking to share something small, and they gave us great suggestions without any pressure. You can tell they really care about their customers. We ended up ordering one plate (average price around $15-$16), and within 3-4 minutes our food was at our table. Super fast service, and even better--the food was delicious! Authentic Mexican flavor, generous portions, and served hot and fresh. The restaurant was very clean, and the vibe is perfect for a quick, satisfying bite just steps away from the pier. Highly recommend if you're in the area--whether you're starving or just craving a little something flavorful. We'll definitely be back next time we're in town!

Solid pick for Mexican food a short walk from the beach! We were walking around the pier, and found this spot just a short walk through the pedestrian walkway. It's a no-frills Mexican spot where you order first and they will bring your food to whichever table you choose to sit at. We opted for the California burrito platter with Carne Asada and opted for a side of double frijoles (instead of rice). They also had a salsa bar outside so you could grab the salsas that you wanted. Great spot if you're craving something quick and delicious.

This place has the absolute BEST horchata. It's cozy inside, plenty of seating, and the burritos are absolutely huge, like 2 people can split one. My mom, brother, and I made the mistake of each getting one, costing about $60 total. We all took half home. We came by here to try a California burrito which tasted fine. The workers are all very nice, the menu offers everything, but my favorite was just the horchata. The location is cute too, right by the beach.

    Chile rellano Burrito

My husband and I love chile rellano burritos and are always in search of the perfect one. This is one of our favorite burritos on our quest so far. Especially loved the fresh veggies. We don't come to Oceanside often, but we will be coming back!

Everything I've tried is delicious!! Fish tacos refreshing. Carnitas nachos amazing! Quesadillas are amazing with your choice of meat! If you go on a Thursday you have Sunset market to enjoy right after dinner!

Chorizo breakfast burrito with added potatoes (fries)
    Jessica D.

We were in Oceanside for a wedding and walked over to grab breakfast burritos the morning after. AMAZING with HUGE portions! I am still thinking about my chorizo breakfast burrito. The tortilla was grilled perfectly and had the best texture- a little chewy, a little flaky, and soft. I added fries inside of the chorizo breakfast burrito but I could have gone without it. My boyfriend also loved his carne asada super burrito. We're from the Bay Area and were blown away by these. I would definitely recommend if you're in the area and want breakfast burritos with huge portions and amazing taste.

Best California burrito in north county. Large as a baby. Portion sizes are always large and it's priced well. What more could you want.

They have the best molcajete and fajitas around, at the best prices. We are here just to see if Cocina Del Mar is better. Long story short: it's not. However, their ceviche is AMAZING. Best ceviche I have had in north county San Diego outside of Dija Mara (which has the best ceviche in the known universe). It is extremely fresh and not overpowered by acidity, fishy smells or rubbery shrimp. The ceviche here is legit. Great. AND ONLY $10 (for cameron). If you order anything here, get the ceviche first. I'm anxious to try their aguachile now. We also ordered the fajitas ("suprema" with chicken, steak and shrimp). Fajitas did not come out sizzling at all. I have never seen this before. Also, there were only two shrimp. The steak/carne was bland and dry. Not great. Wife ordered the Sopes (3) and mother ordered the Enchiladas Cameron. The sopes were okay, but a bit bland. Wife had to salt everything on the plate. The enchiladas had a sauce my mom said was too sweet. She wasn't a fan. For all three dishes to be a miss is completely strange considering the sheer number of 5-star reviews. I want to believe. We must have come on an off-day, but the place was busy. Quite a few larger parties were here, so this place is popular with the natives. We also grabbed a Model and a Corona. Only $5 for the beers! Total for everything came to $117.64 (with tip). I would absolutely come back for the ceviche and to give them another shot by trying a different dish. I snapped pics of the menu so you can see the latest prices. Check it out.

I selected the 3 rolled tacos with just cheese on top. I ordered the Jarrett's Guava drink. Hubby was quite disappointed with his selection. It had too much sauce that it over powered the flavors from all of the other ingredients. He had opened up the burrito so that he could evenly distribute the sauce with the other ingredients. My tacos had good flavor. The meat a little on the dry side, but then again I didn't have all the toppings. I just got a little of the sauces at the condiment bar and dipped the tacos in. The bottled guava drink was good, not too sweet. We came in a bit after 7pm so. As we were finishing up our food they started mopping the floors. So the place is very clean. Plenty of seating indoor with a few tables outside. The AC was working very well, that on this rainy day, my husband actually went to retrieve his jacket. I would come back and try some other things on the menu. This location is off a busy street and business park so it does get quite busy at times. Parking could be busy but there is also some street parking available. Customer service was friendly and helpful.
