I saw single candies as well as bags of these confections at various groceries stores and speciality shops, and knew that their presence throughout Bozeman meant that they were definitely something Montana was proud of. What I like about this factory storefront is that you can sample the different caramel flavors before purchase and that they sell all flavors including discontinued ones (Espresso) and seasonal flavors (Pumpkin Pie, Smore, Peppermint Hot Chocolate). On my visit they had the following flavors available in the 24oz: Chipotle, Celtic Sea Salt, Salt-Chocolate, Butterscotch, Chocolate, Chewy, Chocolate L'orange, Salted Butterscotch, Salted Mocha, and Green Apple. I really like the Celtic Sea Salt and the Chocolate L'orange! I've visited several shops in Bozeman and the majority sell a select number of flavors and are only available in in the 3.6 oz or 4oz clear packaging. If you want the big 24oz Resealable Pouches ($29.50) with the most flavor variety coming here will give you the greatest selection.

I can only describe it as biting into golden, flaky shell with a soft, buttery interior. Don't get me started on the delicious French Butter! Aurore does an amazing job sourcing high quality ingredients you can taste. It makes me so sad that we moved. Yet, so excited to have something to look forward to when we're back in town. Alas, the secret is out and Aurore is keeping up with demand, so much so that there's another location now. While we're very excited for the library, this makes it very hard for small businesses like The Milky Way to expect their normal customers -- or any customers at all to be honest. If you're able to park a little down the road and walk over, please do! It's definitely worth it! Okay, back to our experience. The Milky Way serves Genuine brand ice cream and offers a pretty decent lineup. My fiancé opted for a scoop of honey lavender & huckleberry. I got a scoop of the peanut butter chocolate topped with sprinkles. Both were really good but I must admit my peanut butter chocolate ice cream tasted like it was sitting at the bottom of the freezer for a little too long. But, with the lack of traffic due to construction, I wasn't surprised. On the bright side, my fiancé's ice cream was perfect. Our dog, Thor, even got his own pup cup! I love when businesses have options like this. It's a treat for us and a treat for our pets. The young man who served us was incredibly friendly. We chatted for awhile while he scooped our ice cream and he expressed his gratitude for our business and the extra tip.
