Amazing service (Shariff and bartender were wonderful!). Cute and charming vibes all around. Food was mid. Escargot on the chewier end, not too flavorful. Bland mussels. Espresso martinis were generous and divine though. Would skip for the price.

We had a great time celebrating a friend birthday here. Service is great and food is delicious! Love the flower decorations, warm coziness vibes here. They have many good choices in menu and love the special of the day too!

In NYC it can sometimes be hard to find French food at a restaurant that isn't taking themselves too seriously. La petite joie is a great option for casual French food in a chill setting. The inside is dimly lit at night and sets a somewhat romantic tone without being over the top. There are a couple of tables for outside dining. I went in on a Monday night (just me) and snagged a table outside right away. I ordered the moules and cauliflower au gratin. The fries that came with the moules were very greasy (not in a positive or negative way), the kind that would cure a hangover. I was satisfied with all the food. My server was kind and checked on me throughout the meal to make sure I was doing alright. Overall a great casual French option.

La Petit Joie is a little gem tucked away in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Overall, it was a great experience. We had a party of six and were seated about 20 minutes before our reservation, which was a nice surprise. It's a small restaurant, so I wouldn't recommend it for groups larger than six. Now, on to the food. We ordered the Poulet Sandwich, Steak & Eggs, French Toast, Black Sea Bass, and the Pistache Crêpe. The Poulet Sandwich was tasty, but the Steak & Eggs really stood out. Price point is fairly decent, for a party of six the bill came out to a little over $200, which is great considering we also ordered drinks. Definitely a spot I'll be adding to my regular rotation. Go check them out!

We got the avocado tartine and the buttermilk pancake, and both were solid! The buttermilk pancake is not on the menu - it was the special for the day. The server mentioned that the pancake is served similarly to the french toast though! Overall, service was good, and space was cute!

This place was so excellent. It literally transports you to France.. it has music playing and flowers everywhere. The Cesar salad was delicious and the steak melted in my mouth. Best spot in Brooklyn.

This review is for brunch. Overall, a solid spot that I would come back too, especially because I live around the area. I made a reservation day of for 2 people. Ambiance / Service: the restaurant is quite small so it's probably not good for a group larger than 6. Decor is pretty and dainty with lots of florals, wallpaper, and subway tiles. Perfect place for a girls brunch. Service was good. Food: I ordered the below - -Savory Crepe: I got it with fries instead of home fries. I enjoyed this, but thought it needed a little something more so I got a side of dijon and that was perfect. Liked that it came with both a salad & fries. -Parisian Sandwich: nothing crazy, but exactly what I wanted. Perfectly savory and well balanced with the cornichons & dijon.

Went for Saturday brunch and enjoyed the cozy café on a rainy day I ordered a savory crêpe. It delicious! The home fries were perfectly crispy and the perfect bite to eat on the side. The decoration and ambience was really cute, there were flowers in the ceiling and the customer service was impeccable. I'll have to come back to try there, coffee and drinks next time. Ambiance: 5/5 Taste: 5/5 Service: 5/5

Came here on a sunday for brunch! The interior is so cute. The restaurant is small so I recommend going in smaller groups. The service was great and the staff was very kind. My friend and I ordered the brunch tower because it looked good. I think the sandwiches were my favorite and we also ordered the frites with Parmesan and Truffle oil. The fries were amazing. Overall, great experience. I definitely would come back to try other items on their menu!

This is a great brunch spot for French food. Ambience: the best part of this restaurant is how aesthetic it is. I loved the inside because it was decorated with flowers and they had ambietic music playing. They also have outdoor seating which is perfect for a nice summer day. Food: the poulet sandwich was not that great! I thought it was overall unfavorable. However it is huge and super filling and comes with fries which is great. The French toast was my favorite thing and I would be back just to order the french toast. The croque madame was very salty and super cheesy s not a fan. Service: good service! Price: very appropriately priced for the portion sizes

The host had even set a table aside for us with coloring pages (based on the mural on the opposite wall, which they loved realizing). Everything was absolutely perfect. The Gougère (a cheese puff pastry) was airy, light and I loved it, more than anyone else at the table. The fried artichokes were more broiled (tasted healthier) and came in a slightly acidic tahini sauce. The sauce was a light layer on the dish instead of on top to keep the brussel sprouts from getting soggy. I got the moules frites, fantastic, no notes. My son got the kids steak and fries which came with a salad he ate first. The price ($22) for a "kids" meal seemed steep, but the steak alone was probably worth the price, and actually seasoned. This is the type of kids meal that builds kids who actually like food. We got some zero cocktails (not enough sleep to drink and travel the next day) and they were great. If I'm at the NU hotel again, this is going to be a must stop place. Total bull was 222 (before tip) for 3 adults and 2 kids. So expensive, but well worth it, and honestly not terrible for NYC standards.

I had a lot of google translate to do to ensure that I was ordering something that I would eat. Presentation was fantastic with very unique flavors. The shrimp and fish were both very fresh and tasty. We did a bottle of pinot noir wine from WA, very matching with the meats and seafood that we selected. Will definitely come back and recommend for people in the area.

One of the greatest perks of being Elite is attending fabulous venues, eating fabulous food and…read morereceiving great customer care. Additionally, enjoying all of this with fellow Elites is wonderful as well! Thus, when my friends and I were looking for NYE places, I recommended Bacchus. I attended the End of Year Elite Event and wanted to comeback. We were originally a group of four but two friends came down with the flu! The NYE menu had tantalizing options. Here's what we feasted on as we waited for 2026 to begin: 1.Amuse Bouche: Salmon toast, Roasted Tomato and Burrata Tartelette and Eggplant and Caviar Hazelnut Filo. We all had one of each and all were divine. The Salmon was fresh and seasoned nicely, my fave Eggplant and Caviar was a one bite full of fresh eggplant didn't taste the caviar in a delicious mini puff pastry dough. The burrata cheese was scrumptious in the tartlet 2. Starters: . Crab Salad & Sea Scallops, Carpaccio consisted of avocado, celery, fennel, herbs, oysters, citrus dressing and delicious crab and scallops (tender and heavenly) Foie Gras Terrine: Brioche toast and fig marmalade, second time in my life eating duck liver mousse which had a creamy buttery texture. I enjoyed it. 3. Mains: Sea Scallop Risotto which had mushrooms and lemon zest. My friend loved it! I loved my Bacon wrapped monkfish with sauerkraut ( really out of my depth here but wanted to try something different) fingerling potatoes and Beurre Blanc ( the dreamiest, creamiest butter as described by Julia Child) 4. Dessert: Two desserts that I tried during Elite event were offered here: ChocolateFondant ( mini Bundt cake) with vanilla ice cream and the Passionfruit Creme Brûlée. The brûlée is my fave and Bacchus makes it excellent. The Fondant is rich and chocolatey. 5. Drinks: Cava, which was delicious and Sauvignon Blanc. Kaza the head Sommelier who managed the Elite event was there and gave us drinks on the house. Bacchus is my kind of place: great for ANY event, excellent wine, food and service. The ambience is cozy and warm! Bacchus is located on 409 Atlantic Avenue Take R train to Atlantic, 10 minute walk.

We did visit while they were hosting/wrapping up a wedding reception. I really do think they should have just closed the place for the day because they were rushing to put tables out for guests. There was a lot of movement from the staff trying to clean-up from the party which did sour the experience overall - it all just seemed a little disorganized. FYI they only serve wine and beer, no cocktails. If you order a soda, it is not bottomless. For dinner, I went with their moules frites, which I will admit is the largest portion of moules I've ever seen. Unfortunately, it was very underwhelming. Sauce wasn't intriguing enough. I kept going back in because there was so much food, not necessarily because I loved it, and didn't even end up finishing. I did get the chocolate fondant for dessert - which is basically chocolate lava cake. I switched out the whipped cream for vanilla ice cream and THAT was good. The perfect sweet treat! Overall, I'm upset I had a lackluster experience, and while I know that the event may have been part of the cause, I can't confidently say I would go back.
