    Make reservations! The seating is very limited, and this place is super popular, so a reservation is a must. Indoor, outdoor, bar. Not suitable for groups. Tables for twos only. Staff were impeccable. Enjoyed genuinely warm and affable interactions. Got some really good recommendations and had open, human conversations, which was a breath of fresh air. Didn't feel any pressure from any one at any point, which was marvelous. Noise level gets high, despite how small the space is. Relaxing, bohemian/classy ambiance. Perfect for a date. Menu changes daily, so I was excited for the food! The portions are small and the prices are high, so this isn't a place if you're starving and just want to fill the belly. This is for satisfying the soul. Fried cheese appetizer could be skipped. Just a piece of soft cheese fried in batter with some tomatoes on the side. The crab toast appetizer was tasty--brioche was sweet and crab was mixed with a refreshingly tart dressing. Not extraordinary, but decent if you like crab meat and brioche. Buckwheat risotto felt like buckwheat couscous. Very simple. A piece of Brie on top. No protein. Not worth $25. Pretty much a glorified side sold as an entree. Skip. Scallops with butter and corn were the highlight of the meal. Perfection! Could eat this daily and never tire. So decadent and indulgent! Butter makes everything better. Definitely get this. You'll want to order seconds, I promise. We licked the plate clean. Top dish. Monkfish entree was tasty but underwhelming. Tiny piece of fish and lots of greenery. Very light. Not filling at all. Tasty, but not as amazing as our waiter made it sound. At 9pm on a Friday we ordered dessert and were told that they just sold the last blackberry jam tart. Wow. How can you run out of pieces of dough that you slather with berry jam and put an ice cream scoop on top? Very disappointing. We got seasonal sorbet--strawberry, melon, basil. Basil was my favorite. All three were very refreshing and not sweet, which I really appreciated. Would get more sorbets here in the future. You could taste the quality. Sticky toffee pudding was so sweet that I didn't mind how tiny it was. All you taste was sweetness. Very simple flavor profile--almost boring. The rush of sugar you get is overwhelming. It is cooked fresh for you, so you'll wait half an hour for it. Adonis drink was a very tasty sherry--we got two and highly enjoyed! Highly recommend. White wine was delicious too. A very extensive wine menu--this is the place to go if you're into wines. Only one bathroom, which makes it problematic if there's a line (and there always is).

    We had such a pleasant weeknight dinner. Such a beautiful space, really feels like a chic French café. The service was also very warm, making great recommendations for both wine and food. The wines by the glass were fantastic. The French butter with the brioche was so amazing. We also loved the fresh melon salad. The special burger for the main was wonderful with a delicious French cheese and sauce. Their dessert tart was also très délicieux. Highly recommend! A great addition to the neighborhood.

    Hip French inspire farm to table bring France and Montauk fare to Brooklyn Location The long restaurant has a unique set up with a narrow building on the corner. I liked the touches of simple design that show a touch of elegance but under stated Food From oysters, seafood, crepes, cider, and so much more, the food is farm to table with inspiration from chef, Cali, work from 11 Madison, to France, and the North Fork of Long Island. She sources seasonal fare with a more approachable of French cuisine with American and French ingredients Service: Friendly and warm recommendations across the whole dining experience Overall: Love the whole experience and would love to come back and order the secret off menu burger if they have it next time.

    Wow, what a find! Third Falcon on Myrtle Ave. here in Brooklyn, is a treasure. It's small, it's packed, it's embracing and it makes pretty damn good food. Their bar is on fire; I had one of the best gin martini ever. Our salad was big enough for four people and us two polished it off without a problem. May I add, it was delicious. Now, comes the pièce de résistance: Their out of control, delicious hamburger. This beauty rivaled Red Hook, and I'm not kidding; it was just that good. It comes out of the kitchen 8" high and you wonder how the hell are you going to tackle this behemoth? After sizing this sandwich up, you press it down with your hands and, voila, you are eating this masterpiece. I was so impressed, that I'm not leaving New York without have one more "throw" with this amazing burger. The service was unbelievable, the ambience was quiet cool and the vibe was this youthful energy that becomes addictive. I loved Third Falcon in every way! It completely worked for me.

    After seeing articles in Eater, I bookmarked this resto patiently waiting for it to open. I met up with one of my girlfriends on a random weeknight since she lives in FiDi & I currently work in Brooklyn. This Falcon was the mid-point for us and it is a true neighborhood gem not to be missed. What caught my eye was their focus on northern French cuisine. I've got to say, that bread (and butter) and duck were definitely calling our names! Everything was flavorful without being too heavy. The decor of this place was elegant - it's a nice place to grab a drink after work. But what also won me over was how welcoming the staff was. While waiting for the bathroom, I spoke to one of the staff and it seems comforting to know that their main focus to keep the regulars. They took more pride on focusing being local and THAT, ladies and gents, is what makes a restaurant worth visiting.

    We visited Third Falcons as part of a Tasting Collective dinner. I was really excited when I saw that this had been selected as I had been wanting to try this restaurant for a little while. The premise of the Tasting Collective is that you try both existing menu staples and dishes that are in development. We arrived promptly and the space was lovely, albeit very small. They have a great wine menu and we decided to order the bottle of tavel and waited for our food to be served! The first dish was the oysters, which unfortunately I found the flavour of the oyster itself overwhelmed by the granita. We then moved on to the shrimp, which was DELICIOUS! Unfortunately though the plating was uneven and we ended up with one large shrimp and one absolutely tiny shrimp (and we could see everyone else dining around us had 2 large shrimp). The third dish was the white asparagus dish and I would have loved it if they served it with some of their fresh brioche that the chef spoke about. The next dish, Le Meunière, was probably the biggest disappointment of the night (and also the signature dish of the restaurant). The flavour of the dish was delicious but the way the dish was served was just disappointing, it would have been much better if the dish was served family style (as a whole fish) as opposed to a small portion of individual skate. The final dish was the sticky toffee pudding, which was my standout dish of the evening. Everything about this was just so tasty (I could eat a bowl of that salted calvados sauce), a 10/10 dish. All in all I would give our dining experience for that evening a 3.5/5 but understand that this wasn't their usual menu or dining service. There was a lot of great potential there though and we both agreed that we would revisit to try their standard menu.

    I had such a fantastic meal at Third Falcon this past weekend. It's located on the corner of Myrtle Avenue, I actually walked right by it the first time around. Once you do find the restaurant, you'll notice how pretty it is with tons of natural light and lots of blue and white tones. Of course there are homages to the falcon all over in various ways. I was sat at the long bar which is in the middle of the restaurant and basically takes up a big part of the space. Everything was extremely crave-able. I started with the seasonal spritz [$16] which was a grapefruit something something flavor. It was sweet and refreshing and a little bubbly. It was a great way to start the meal. The Instead of Olives [$8] was crazy delicious. It was tomatoes prepared in a variety of ways, dehydrated, pickled, etc. I've never had tomatoes as good as these. The brioche [$9] and the butter really knocked me out. From my seat at the bar, I could see them preparing the brioche. They are so soft and fluffy and slightly sweet. Add the butter and it's like a dream. The chicken with peppers, tomato and crab butter [$32] was also stunning. The chicken was so juicy and flavorful. I want to be slathered with that crab butter. To finish the meal, I had the apple tart tatin [$22] with camomile ice cream. It's definitely meant for two people. There wasn't a printed dessert menu so I wasn't really aware at how big it was. I probably should've stuck with the sticky toffee pudding or something else meant for one person. Regardless, it was super delicious and I would definitely order it again if I was with someone else. Considering this is a new place, service was really good and felt attentive but not too much. There are definitely other things on the menu I'd love to try. I paid $130 with tax and tip.

    The ambiance inside is well done - dim lighting, fresh flowers, and charming decor. Has a romantic atmosphere but not over done in a way that would suggest it to be branded inly for couples or a date night. Also a good vibe to enjoy wine with friends type of evening. Our reso was for dinner and drink over weekend. Service was excellent from the start - welcoming and attentive. But while the drinks were enjoyable, the food didn't quite live up to the atmosphere and hospitality. For the table we shared a few plates. -The brioche and butter were a solid start. Soft bread, rich butter - simple and satisfying. -The Montauk red shrimp had a unique twist, served chilled with a creamy, sweet flavor and a hint of spice, maybe turmeric. -The cured fluke, however, didn't land for us. It was plated fanned out strips and lacked sauce and seasoning, leaving it a bit bland. -The crispy Livarot with maitake mushrooms was intriguing. The mushrooms tasted wonderful alone, but with the gooey cheese, the combination didn't quite click for us - like a fondue gone a bit sideways. Some may enjoy this, though! Very funky flavor -The Porcelet stole the show - and not in a good way. It was gamey, with a texture that felt underdone, and the cutlery struggled to cut through. By the time we finished, nobody had checked in, so we decided to skip the feedback and just settle the bill. Had left almost the entire dish untouched. It's a wonderful place with great drinks and ambiance. Grab a cozy spot by the window or at the bar and stick to the wine (or draft cocktails). But I'd say dinner might be best enjoyed elsewhere.

    Third Falcon recently opened on a Myrtle and Adelphi and is definitely contending as a neighborhood intimate date night restaurant. There are only a handful of tables, a lot of seating is bar style along the windows and at the big L shaped counter in the middle. If you need back support or have trouble with getting up high on a stool, definitely make a reservation for a table. On a Thursday night, Third Falcon was about 80% full. Service was excellent. The server has a great understanding of the menu, making good recommendations to ensure I had enough and things felt balanced. Note that the menu is a bit deceiving - many of the plates are small, and everything is meant to be shared, so think fancy tapas rather that order an entree and leave. This was the most confusing part of my experience and takes the cost expectation from "nice night out" to "bougie" instantly. I ordered: SEASONAL SODA Quince flavored syrup with tonic water. Not enough quince and expensive. Skip. WHELK in garlic butter, presented diced in shell with some lightly pickled peppers. Good, mild, and felt luxe. If you're not into chewy shellfish, skip. PLATE OF GREENS a large seasonal salad, designed to share. Today included endive, dandelion, what I think is crown daisy, tomatoes, and smashed dates, with sesame for crunch. I surprisingly loved the hidden dates with the bitter daisy. Are the whole thing solo. SCALLOPS Delicious but tiny portion. Three inch and a half wide scallops, served in shell, with a sweet corn base. I liked that the scallops were very lightly cooked, a crunchy sear on one side but so very mellow and creamy inside. A+ execution . STICKY TOFFEE PUDDING the other reviews raved about this dish, and after my three dishes I still had plenty of room. The 4" cake is barely sweet and is topped with a sticky toffee caramel and a dollop of creme fraiche. Tasty, good portion, with a hint of bitter burnt sugar (in a good way) My four dishes came out to $103 for myself with tax and tip. This is a splurge kind of meal and may be a point of contention for the neighborhood.

Service was polished but not stiff. They know what they're doing, but it never feels rehearsed or overbearing. If I had to nitpick, it's not cheap, and portions aren't massive, but you're not really coming here for volume anyway. It's more about the overall experience. Overall, Le Crocodile hits that balance of being a "nice night out" spot without feeling like a production. Definitely somewhere I'd come back to.

I think there are better spots if you live within your walking distance and I definitely wouldn't travel out of my way here unfortunately. I ordered: -French Onion Soup: looked delish and had nice flavor, but it was actually under seasoned. Needed more salt which is saying a lot for French onion soup. -Zucchini Pancakes: skip. This was raw and we had to send it back. Kitchen remade it and it was still questionable. Quite mushy and just not very flavorful. -Mini Moules (mussels): this was ok. I thought it was under seasoned. -French Fries: perfection. Super crispy, not greasy. -Chicken Cordon Bleu: it looked good, but sadly it was really under seasoned. And the chicken seemed overcooked and was quite dry despite the amount of sauce on it. -Steak Frites: the person enjoyed this. Liked the sauce a lot. We enjoyed the desserts a lot: chocolate soufflé (on the smaller side) and San Sebastián cheesecake.

The presentation and flavor.. the parsnip that came with it was also a favorite. Ended the evening with the canard au citron.. not a fan of sweets but this was very lemony and not too sweet. All in all, outstanding.

This is the type of kids meal that builds kids who actually like food. We got some zero cocktails (not enough sleep to drink and travel the next day) and they were great. If I'm at the NU hotel again, this is going to be a must stop place. Total bull was 222 (before tip) for 3 adults and 2 kids. So expensive, but well worth it, and honestly not terrible for NYC standards.
