This could be the nicest, cleanest, and most economical laundromat in America. No kidding. I stumbled onto this place on one of my work trips to Oregon and was greeted by the owner when I came in then enjoyed perfectly running all new equipment to get my smelly clothes clean. Best of all, you don't need to use quarters. Each washer and dryer has its own credit card, reader and touchscreen. Cleanest laundromat I've seen in a long time! The machines are state of the art Speed Queen, spotless, and all of them were working. One employee onsite was very friendly and helpful. A medium load was $7 to was, and $1.50 to dry. Additional products can be purchased to use in the machines. read more

Pros: friendly staff and cleanliness! Cons:everything else. Machines are old and inefficient. Not many machines so you have to wait around for availability, the washers were ok but the clothes were sopping wet so that took extra time to dry. The dryers took a long time. Would use the facility again in a pinch, but I'm looking for a different facility to use on the regular. read more

Was verbally accosted by an employee and a worker towards the end of my procurement of the establishment that I very rarely use was told I was pushing it by folding my clean laundry out of the dryer and I needed to do that outside in the 25degree weather. I told her if she was unable to afford people the necessary use of folding then she needed to not be open and close her doors . She then had gathered others within the establishment to heckle me in the folding of my laundry and told me I was too never be allowed the use of her facility again. She is a greedy racist and is taking people for what they are worth money and not offering quality of service. And all of her justification was sluffed off on Percovid establishment operations order of Gov.Kate Brown I don't think so!!! Sounds personal. read more

Pretty busy, for good reasons. This is very well-run, the attendant is diplomatic and on-the-ball - very helpful. The machines are in generally good condition, and it's remarkably inexpensive. Drying is fast, but dependent on ambient humidity - this is Oregon, after all. We generally get two weeks of wash done in an hour or so. We are retired RVers and get a lot of experience with laundromats - so far, this is our favorite in six states. read more

I hate going to the laundromat but my brand new washer/dryer combo in my house is broken. What a great surprise to go to this laundromat and find it super clean. And with a super friendly staff and someone there all the time to help you and they have quarters available if you run out. And they are very helpful. I am glad there is such a great place in town because my little washer/dryer combo won't fit my big stuff. Won't hesitate to run down here and wash my stuff! read more

Stopped in on a busy July Saturday afternoon during our vacation. Noticed a lot of machines marked "Out of Order" as well as both of the Change Machines. The woman working was very nice, but was worried about running out of quarters. It was very clean and had air conditioning. read more

I came through La Pine this past week as a cyclist on Cycle Oregon. There were 1500 riders who had been wet for 3 days while camping and cycling through Southern Oregon. Shuttle vans were arriving from the camp site loaded with cyclist and wet gear. There were 30 to 40 cyclists in there at a time and the manager there, Julia, couldn't have been nicer or had a better attitude, instantly putting all of the cyclist in a good mood with banter, humor and empathy for their situation. Although closing time was approaching, Julia told all not to worry about the time, as she would stay until each and every one of us had a chance to wash and dry all of our laundry. Julia is La Pine's best ambassador and is the type of employee/manager that every owner or franchise owner would be so fortunate to have. Julia couldn't have been more helpful. read more

This is the only laundromat in La Pine. I usually do my laundry here once a week. Sometimes it can get very busy there, especially in the summer. Because I live locally and am retired I can time my washing with slower parts of the day if I want. There are two women that work there (different times) and they are nice. One is , I believe, the owner and she has been very helpful. If I ask a question about the size of a load or if I put quarters into someone else s dryer by mistake she is quick to help. Which brings to mind the dryers. They are all on the east wall one row on top of the other. The quarter slot to each dryer has an arrow pointing to the dryer it operates. If your not paying attention or in some other way distracted ,time could accidentally be added to someone else dryer time and possibly damage some clothes. If that happens you want to let one of the attendants know. They have three sizes of washers there. There are two really big ones and I was able to wash and get clean all of my bedding in one load. Currently one of those washers are off line. I believe that the washers are of the high efficient type that uses less water than the older washers did. They do a good job and I was sort of surprised how much laundry can be put in without overloading them. Anyway, the place is clean and the attendants helpful and I am happy for that because I sure do not want to take my laundry 30 miles away to Bend every week! read more

Washing laundry has become so complicated...until the lovely, nice attendant shows you the ropes. This laundromat is very, very clean. There are large capacity machines and huge capacity machines and the price to wash your clothes and stuff varies according to water temperature and a few other factors, but about $1.75-$3.50. The dryers are $.25 for every 10 minutes, regardless of the temperature. If you need to launder your stuff, you can do it here in a very pleasant atmosphere. read more

Due to my home burning down I have had to use the laundry mat for my 2 kids and my laundry. I spend about $100 a week to keep everything up. Have used this faculty more times than not in the 9 years of living in this small town. I have seen over the past year or two more and more of their washers and dryers broken down and not being fixed. There are almost more broken then working. I go a couple times a week and never had a problem with the attendant there(name withheld) in till the other day. I had stepped out the door to fold my clothes (covid/business guidelines) and I heard the employee and another customer talking quit loudly about me. When I stepped back in to let them know I was right at the door and heard everything they said and how professionally and morally wrong they were to be doing that. I had the attendant get right in my face and tell me to go to Sunriver to do my laundry if I didn't like it. I am not one to accept anyone's unprofessional behavior and lack of common curtesy and not to mention ethics. I am dealing with the loss of my home and most all our personal belongings and don't need someone who prides herself for great customer service threating me and telling me to go else where. I shouldn't have to be inconvenient and forced to travel 20 miles to use a service that is provided right here in my town. I know the owners of this faculty and I am surprised to think that they (husband & wife team) would allow or encourage this type of behavior in their establishment. I think people are so self centered right now and it appalls me the lack of "Good customer service" anywhere, anymore! read more

Laundromat's typically get a bad reputation. We had recently moved and didn't have a washer and dryer for about a month. At first thought, I wasn't too excited about having to use a laundromat but this one changed my mind. It's clean, the employees are nice and helpful, which was appreciated as I had actually never had to rely on a laundromat before this, and every customer in there was friendly. I will be back to wash bigger items in the future, it really is a great place. read more

La Pine Laundry is the cleanest laundromat you will ever find. All the machines are up to date, clean and very efficient! Very reasonable rates, I can dry a load for $.50. There is always a attendant on duty that can help you whenever you need one. Owner is very nice. read more

This was our best Laundromat experience by far ... very clean and the manager was extremely helpful to everyone there. I give this the highest rating ... it is probably worth the trip from Bend for the experience. I noticed that the manager give everyone guidance in terms of choosing a machine and loading it to get the best wash for the least money. read more
