We just spent 5 wonderful , restful and beautiful days at Sun River in one of Colton Bennington…read morerental homes.The location was just across from the Sun River Center. The second day we were there the smoke detectors went off warn us that they needed batteries. I called the Bennington office and in less than an hour our problem was fixed! Best of all we had to leave early on our last day and I left my bank bag with over $500.00 cash in it beside the bed in the small dresser.When we go home and everything unpacked no money bag.I sent a text that next morning to the housecleaning crew and asked them to check and see if was there. I left them all my information and they called me and said it was there and they put it in the mail for me. I offered them $100.00 to buy some pizzas for the crew and they said they appreciated the offer but couldn't do that. My happiness is all they needed. Convince me that they are professional and successful in satisfying clients. I was in business for myself (and my customers too) for 30 years and always went the extra mile to keep my people happy. It does pay! The women who I asked something of while looking for property this last year were about 20% helpful, the rest were caring little about finding answers on given properties. All the men I talked with were very helpful and DID find the answers to my inquiries. The property I now live on was found and shown by a female agent and very professional A pleasant experience. The lady agent representing the seller lied about several items on this land, very disappointing. I have learned that men do a much better job finding info and delivering it complete than do women. Thus far I am FSBO for my property and three men helped me with understanding what my land is worth. All the women agents I have talked with never offered to help. So, you see why I am doubtful about their willingness to be helpful.

We rented a condo in the tennis village section where we found out no pool after I called the office. I was told if I wanted to drive to their office I could have sharc passes but not for free. we just wanted a fun day lounging by the pool. Big disappointment!!! Also office had to send someone over twice to hook up both TVs. That was silly and shouldn't have occurred. Next year no tennis village.

It was missing a top sheet and when I turned over the bedding I found blood on the sheets and other yucky things. I was so disgusted. I found new sheets in the closed and remade the bed . we called the renting company and we were told they can send out someone to make the bed but I had already made it myself. I asked for my cleaning fee to get refunded but they only afford us $50. I had taken pictures to show them just in case they wouldn't believe me I showed them the pictures, after they saw the pictures they apologized for the situation but they still didn't feel we deserved to get a full refund.

At first we were unsure how it would go, but fortunately they have been the best property management company we have dealt with to date. Stephanie, the "landlord" is super accommodating and very helpful. While we were there the fridge went out. Within two days not only were we provided with a brand new fridge, but Stephanie brought coolers over for us to store our food in until the fridge was installed! We also were the recipients of a new dishwasher when our old one went kaput. Stephanie and Corvallis Property Management take amazing care of their tenants. Wish we could have lived there longer. The house was well-maintained and had…read moreeverything we needed for our stay, comfy beds and bedrooms, laundry, the kitchen had all of the tools we needed to make our food. We were thankful for the A/C! We used the bikes that were provided and had some good rounds of ping pong. The hot tub was well-maintained and tub towels were provided. We enjoyed barbecuing on the back deck and sitting on the deck. Village Properties was very good with their communication about what to expect at the property, check-in and check-out instructions. We knew ahead of time that toiletries would not be provided. The pet fee of $125 provided a sheet for the dog to use, a stainless steel bowl and toy to keep, a towel, and a dog crate. VIP passes were provided for our stay which we were not familiar with, but the binder explained what they were. Essentially they could be used to access the SHARC and Sunriver recreation or the other choice was to use them for discounts at museums and shops. We ended up not using either benefit. This property was really well-maintained and had everything!

Very Disappointing Experience -- Misleading Location Our…read moreexperience with the Village Properties at Sunriver was extremely disappointing. The listing gave the impression that we would be staying in Sunriver, but the property was actually miles away. We were not familiar with the area, and that distinction made a huge difference. We were provided with bikes, but what's the point of having bikes when the property is too far away to realistically bike into Sunriver? We ended up needing a car just to get where we expected to be staying. In my opinion, the way these properties are marketed is deceptive at best and could easily mislead people who aren't familiar with the area. The location should be made much clearer upfront rather than making guests assume they are actually staying in Sunriver. We would never stay here again, and I would strongly recommend that anyone booking carefully verify the exact location before making a reservation.

Lived at one of their properties for a year. Cleaned and fixed multiple problems while living…read morethere. Spent hours weeding and fixing grass in the back yard. Put 20 bags of mulch down in the back to replace what was barely there when we moved in. Caulked all the windows since it was old and dry rotted. Still got charged $1,000 on move out. Overall they were responsive to all of the problems we had with old appliances and plumbing problems while living there. We scheduled early to use their only authorized cleaner before moving out, they text they day before the cleaning to say they couldn't do it, then hummingbird charged an extra $300 cleaning fee since we didn't have it done before move out. Even though it was their preferred company that messed that up and we sent them proof of booking in advance and that they cancelled for unknown reasons. Don't know if this was a game to charge us more or not.

There was rarely a sense of urgency about anything. It seems like they just did whatever benefited them rather than their clients. Not so with Hummingbird! They've got a structured system and they stick to it. They're smart, gracious, and tough when they need to be... sometimes even with me. :) It's a refreshing change of pace.
