Also loved the sides, the beans and rice were top notch and the mixed mash was very fun and interesting though a little dry without sauce- delicious with some sauce from other dishes. I heard very good things about the chicken and shrimp; unfortunately one star off as my husband and I bought got the Mahi-mahi and it was rather chewy and tough. The flavor was there but didn't really enjoy the texture. I would 100% go back and get the shrimp though!

And they don't skimp on the escargot. There's plenty of them unlike other places that count them. The service at Susie's? As friendly and as personable as you want. Every one is happy and pleasant but then again you live on the best island that has the #3 best beach (Flamenco). I had the machi machi. Excellent choice! Plus the rice and beans which I grew up on, however they did not make them with sofrito which is really the secret ingredient to making them. But still delicious nonetheless.
