My Girlfriend and I came here on the Prescott Cocktail tour, which you should definitely book for a date night or outing for friends and family as it is extremely affordable and a wonderful time. This is a tequila bar and they have many a drink to choose from. We were lucky and got a table by the window so we could people watch outside and had a full few inside the bar as well to watch from both angles. Our drinks were made at the bar and we brought them back to our seats and we ordered some chips and guacamole but it seemed it was forgotten about because it never came out so we had to go back up to inquire. That is the only reason I am leaving 4 over 5 stars. The chips were very good and so was the guacamole. Our tour guide ordered the chips and salsa and we all shared at the table. Food was good. Presentation was good. I had a spicy margarita that wasn't pictured as well. The drink selection and tequila section looked awesome. Coming from San Diego (Chula Vista to be exact) we have been accustomed to really good Mexican food so I'd say it's 3-4 star for flavor but for a small town like Prescott, this is a fun joint to go to with good food. So delicious and very helpful when I called to ask about their cooking oil as I have a soy allergy and they were very thorough by telling me what had soy and what did not. For those with the allergy, the deep fry oil is soy, the grilled veggies use canola and the meat just uses the fat from the meats. I chose the carne asada salad and if i would have known it had the chips in it I would next time get without, but I put them to the side and it was an amazing salad!! Also, the rice is homemade and has so much flavor and garlic in it and I definitely recommend!! The tamarind margarita was soooo yummy and I will be coming back. :) read more

The bad: The food came randomly, tacos before apps, food before drinks, dessert before all the other food made it. The mushroom taco special was a small portion of the mushrooms and not a speck of cilantro, onion, or anything else to be found. The house margaritas were cloyingly sweet with no other taste coming through. The salsa also tasted sugary even though we ordered hot. The guacamole was ok but tiny portion. The chips were awful - all you could taste was completely rancid oil, just inedible. My partner and I were really excited to try a new place that opened in town and of all things, tacos. I love tacos. You know that meme of a huge plate tacos that says "I wouldn't do anything for a Klondike Bar, but I'd do some sketchy stuff for these tacos." Yeah, love tacos. Anyway. These were some fancy ass tacos. We ordered one of all of them. Had to try, ya know? Lamb was a bit dry. Carnitas had good flavor but a tad toooo greasy. The carne asada was so tender. The texture was fantastic. Usually carne asada is tough and chewy. But this texture was good. Flavor was alright. Fried chicken taco had a slight weird chicken smell that reminds me of Chinese food chicken.. might be the dark meat? Not sure, but I was pleasantly surprised with the spice level to mask that! Heat level was awesome. Now the two winners for us were: potato black bean poblano & the green chile tequila chicken. The potato black bean really blew us away with the amazing punch of flavor for a vegan taco. And the green chile tequila chicken taco.... I want 15 of those every time. Those two were fire. I had never stopped in here before and decided to bring a friend who was visiting the area with me and I was pleasantly surprised by our experience here. In terms of food, we quite literally vacuumed their house-made guacamole, tacos were solid too we enjoyed both the birria tacos (upon bartenders recommendation) and the beer battered fish tacos, both killed it. To the many people complaining about the pricing...make tacos at home...in the grand scheme of things, you can't even escape McDonald's for under $25 bucks for 2 people so I had no problem paying 13-15 for a platter of tacos. drinks: pretty solid also, standouts were the jalapeño diablo & the always reliable prickly pear margarita - again, to the people complaining about wait times at a bar.... craft cocktails do indeed take time, I think the bartender was slangin drinks, especially for not being able to batch drinks. I come here at least twice a month for the birria tacos. It's my favorite birria in town! They have an extensive mezcal and tequila list with flights available. The Jamaica cocktail is so good. Absolutely the worst food I've had in Prescott! When you smash up an avocado and don't add anything to it you can't call it guacamole. Chips were stale. Salsa was just tomato sauce. We tried three different kinds of tacos, all were flavorless. taco the size of the palm of your hand cost $5.50! What a complete waste of time and money!!
