As I was ordering my food on the second ordering station, I witness the cashier digging in face and eyes. Then I noticed the same young man in the back preparing food with dirty hands and no gloves. I attempted to cancel my order and then he said his uncle had already put the pizza in the oven and that they were short staffed. I said yes but you are attempting to make food with dirty hands and no gloves. The young man did go and put on gloves but I still question the cleanliness of this establishment. My mini and I decided to try the restaurant because of the high reviews. The young man in the front is personable and has great customer service skills, he also said it was his first day. Stopped in tonight to try this place out with a small cheese pizza with pepperoni and onions. The tomato sauce has an intensely delicious flavor that pairs extremely well with the mozzarella cheese (like peanut butter and jelly)! They put red onions on which made it even better and Joe is a a wonderful guy and uses top shelf ingredients for the pizzas he makes and you can tell the difference from other pizzas. Will definitely be back to try out more on the menu and if you haven't yet you should drop in, too or place an order with one of the meal delivery services. They are on Uber Eats. read more

SERVICE. I have been at La Porchetta as least 1/2 dozen times in the past month. The service has been consistently EXCELLENT. This is a small pizzeria, and they offer, dinning-in, carry-out, and delivery through a third party. The dining area is a work in progress, since due to getting permits from the County and the Fire Marshall they are behind schedule preparing the place. Still is one of cleanest places I have been. Food. OUTSTANDING! Like I said, best pizza in the area. I have tried their subs, specialty pizza, as well as the traditional NY Style Pizza. I had the "Steak, Ham & Cheese" and it was awesome. I had never tried adding ham to a steak and cheese, but I was pleasantly surprised with the flavor. Another surprise was the way the sub was put together, the lettuce and tomatoes were put in the bottom of the sub followed by the meats. The bread was incredible, and it was big enough to hold all the "stuff." I have attached a photo. The Pizza. Of course, the star of the show. The first pizza I ordered, on my first visit, was a Supreme specialty pizza. The best way to describe is as an addictive orgy of flavors that makes you feel you are paradise. Add the fresh mushrooms and the green peppers and you are eating what I consider an award winning pizza. They also have in their menu NY Style Pizza. Yes, it tasted like REAL NY Style Pizza. I order a plain cheese NY Style pizza, and although it was an X-Large, it was so good I couldn't stop eating. Yes, Me, Myself, and I ate the "whole thing." New location, amazing eats. I stumbled upon this pizzeria opening in the new plaza. After a search online, it became clear that this is the same one in Loudoun County and now Prince William County has it. There are never enough pizza pie-making places. The flavor and texture are what I was raised on up north. They say it's the water that makes a good pie crust, thank God it's working on the dough here. I ordered a vegetable Supreme pizza and cheesesteak supreme. Both were delicious. I heard they opened up a different location and decided to stop by on my way. If you're driving anywhere down the 95 you gotta stop. Right near the 95 great location. They have everything here. Pizza, subs, ravioli and don't forget about those wings. The wings were the best part but I ate them right away, sorry no pictures. Service is great and the manager is a nice guy. We didn't know La Porchetta existed until Yelp sent out one of those emails that talked about places to get food delivered. Truth is that we hadn't been in that small shopping center in years. That is in part because it's easy to get into it if your heading up Cascades Parkway towards Route 7 but it is had to get in or out of there if you are going the opposite direction heading into Sterling Park. We decided to give this place a try and were here on a Sunday around 4:30 p.m. In the winter, we often go out really early for dinner so as to avoid driving in the dark. When we arrived, we were the only customers there. The 2 employees there were friendly and greeted us. I asked the young woman who took our order if a medium pizza is the right size for 2 people. She said "yes", so we ordered a medium Margherita pizza. For an appetizer, we ordered some fried zucchini. To drink, we shared a bottle of water. The drinks are kept in a cooler by the counter so after ordering, we grabbed a bottle of the only brand they had. The dining area is small---about 3 booths and a few tables. We sat in a booth and waited for our order, which came out in a timely fashion. The fried zucchini was okay, nothing to write home about---and that's what we expected. Esposito's in Fairfax has the best fried zucchini and we've yet to find anyplace that does it as well as they do. The pizza came out a bit on the overbaked side but still edible. We thought that there was too much tomato sauce on it. However, the cheese and basil portion was generous. There were even a few thin slices of fresh tomato on it. As for the pizza itself, it was okay. We weren't wowed but thought it was a middle of the road one. Porchetta also has subs and entrees. They say they make their meatballs from scratch. With that in mind, perhaps the way to go here is with a meatball sub or an entree that has them in it. It reminds of so many places we saw growing up in the Northeast. Neighborhood places where the locals could walk to or have a short drive. They serve a purpose as they provide food that's okay and just fine for a meal when one doesn't want to travel far. Porchetta is close enough to Cabin Branch Forest and some could well walk there, if they wanted to do so. For us, going there meant driving a bit. We have pizza available closer to home should we want one. read more

I was hungry. I wanted pasta on my way home from work. I stopped at La Porchetta and had pesto chicken Florentine and a NY Style pizza. PIZZA was so good, the bottom was crispy and I could fold it in half. The pasta was equally delicious. I had plenty of left overs. This place is like a to go order place. They have seating but it's not exactly super comfortable. I ate in the establishment and I was super happy with my meal. The place could use some more attention in terms of cleanliness. The service was great--it's not a full on restaurant. So don't expect full service. I would definitely recommend and will go again. read more

Went there today for the first time with my sister and reluctantly ate inside. It was a bit chilly inside and no wait staff provided here. Since it got 4 stars on Yelp we figured food has to be good so we decided to stay. Well, we were wrong. My sister got the Penne alla Vodka which was decent but nothing special. I got the Baby Clams Dinner which was tasteless. I tried adding red pepper flakes but didn't help. I got up to ask staff person for parmigiana cheese which appeared to be grated processed? Still didnt help with taste. Honestly, I tried to make this entree work but it was pretty awful. I only ate less than half of it before I gave up. The so called garlic bread which is just a quarter sub roll with butter? and garlic didn't improve the meal. Was also bummed to have our food served in carry out aluminum foil pans with garlic bread wrapped up in aluminum foil. We left our leftovers and won't be back. I don't recommended. read more

Their large pizzas got me through the patches of empty days punctuated with wine and entertainment streaming. The pizzas I ordered from here were all solidly constructed. The crust was thin without being too dry, and was still able to support the abundant toppings. My first night here in Ashburn I ordered the supreme; my next two orders were for custom built pies. I love the fact that the toppings go almost all the way to the edge. The fast and courteous delivery service meant that my anticipation was kept to a manageable window, I never descended into the occasional online ordering precipice of despair and feverish impatience. All Meat Calzone $11 (1000/5): I kid you not, this is probably the best calzone I've had. The bountiful amount of cheese combined with all different kind of meat in one single bite simply amazed me!!!! The taste was amazing! XL pizza 3 toppings for $18 special (4.5/5): We put pineapple, ham, and sausage on the pizza. Overall the pizza was pretty good. The ingredients tasted amazing. The cheese was fantastic. The only letdown was the crust; it was simply too basic. Buffalo chicken pizza (4.5/5): this dish ran into the same ups and downs as our XL pizza. Everything is good until you get to the crust. Wings 15pc, buffalo sauce (4.5/5): the wings were pretty good. The sauce tasted good and the chicken was cooked well. Garlic knots (3.5/5): the taste is good, but there's nothing special about the dish. French fries (1/5): they were bad. The fries that I got were a bit soggy. Calamari (negative score) Based on my experience, I would caution buyers of this calamari. It wasn't crispy nor was it tasty. Not only was it a bit soggy, the texture was described by a friend as, "something worse than undercooked microwave frozen food." This place is definitely a good place for takeout. Two stars off for service, not for the taste of the pizzas. I understand they just opened at this new location but they are not new to the business. Placed an online order early in the day for a 5:30 pickup for three pizzas. Were told it weren't ready yet and we can see a lot of other people waiting. Waited over half an hour and never even got a "sorry for the wait" or "thanks for being patient" basically not accountable for making your customers wait. We ordered a white pizza with bacon(which had a small sprinkle in the middle only) a meat lovers and a bbq chicken pizza. The pizzas themselves were good but were they as good as the many pizza places in the area? Tonight we ordered again (pizza, calzone, mozzarella sticks, and fried ravioli) and everything arrived hot, fresh, and was amazing. The dough on the pizza and calzone - ya'll, it is so good. The owner called me to tell me it's on the way and apologized in a very sincere way. After our order arrived and some time after we finished, we received another call to make sure we were completely satisfied and again sincerely apologized for the delay.
