I love sandwich shops and I have to say that out of Jersey Mike's, Firehouse, Subway, and Potbelly, Jersey Mike's is tied for first with Firehouse, in my opinion. Although this is a chain sub shop, it, nevertheless, is still good. The location makes for a great grab-n-get spot. Also, the staff are very friendly and are good with providing recommendations. Visited the store and got a giant sub and a club sub in tub and the worker Christopher literally gave me a sub in a tub and it was missing turkey and the bacon, just had ham And cheese ontop of that the worker Christopher was extremely rude. We ordered one sub and then he didn't even wait for the second half of the order and took the next customer. Then when we said we had another thing to order he said we don't order from the toppings guy. Jersey mikes is my go to sub shop and has been for years. They are pretty consistent for the most part. This particular location is hit or miss depending on who makes your sub. My order isn't complicated so when my order is made wrong I'm quite baffled. This has only happened once or twice so not a big deal. Service is always friendly and if given the chance they will fix their mistake. So that's a plus. Overall not a bad location at all. read more

I have never been here before today BUT I will definitely be back again! This sandwich was so bomb! 1000xs better than subway or my other spot I really liked! I cant say enough on how good this sandwich was which started with the fresh sliced turkey breast that seem to keep piling up! Just plain old goodness with simple ingredients...onion, lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, S&P and I think they threw on some oregano and red wine vinegar as well. I did get a chocolate chip cookie which was sooo good! I guess that must have made me full because I couldn't eat but a few bites of that sandwich. A little over a week ago I stopped in and got two subs, one of which was a Club. Got home and the Club had NO bacon or mayo on it. Submitted a feedback and Tristan gave me a call saying to come in and he would fix the issue. Went in yesterday (05/01/2025) and good to his word, Tristan provided a Club with everything on it that was requested. On 11/6 @ 5:40 I entered an empty restaurant with 1 customer waiting for food. 3 employees and only 1 of them (young white male) actually working making subs. He was clearly overwhelmed with to go orders and the multiple subs from the 1 customer waiting. He apologized and said he would be with me shortly. I understood so I waited patiently. 5 min later another customer walks in and told the same thing. Then whom I assume to be an "off duty manager" comes in with great energy & made me forget how long I had been waiting for a split second. A older lady followed behind him. Then about 3min later 4 other customers came in and not 1 single sub had been touched. The 2nd employee had came out to restock the chip station that didn't need restocking, bagged a couple to go orders and then stood and just watched everyone waiting. It had been 15min before the 3rd employee came out from the back to actually work. 8-10 customers later the 3rd employee then proceeds to get the bread for all the orders, cut all the bread, then cut all the cheese and started to cut all the meats for every sub and that is when it went south. I asked the young boy to pass my sub along to be made because I had been waiting for almost 20 min and now I was late for work and needed my sub made before he made them all at once. The boy caught an attitude and said " Man I don't even know what your sub is" and immediately I got irritated. His tone and attitude then shifted mine and we began to go back and forth about my sub and the wait. He then said "Im not making your sub" in which I replied "you will or I'll jump over the counter and make it myself for as long as I had been waiting. We exchanged more words and eventually I received my sub but this location gotta do better with hiring people who actually wanna work. The atmosphere has become very classless, careless with employees blasting personal playlist, loud and obnoxious cursing, and piss poor customer service. They need to better and hire better workers. Just drove backside of this Jersey Mike's near Hedges Run, Lake Ridge. 2 then 3 staff came out to smoke: smell of Weed/ Pot!!: yuck!! Tried calling local non- emergency police, as this is on private business property but no one picked up, as it went true to out going messages. This Jersey Mike's needs to be shutdown, cleaned up (meaning internal staff & managers) and started over. I live in the Woodbridge area and probably twice a week I go to Jersey Mikes. Owen has outstanding customer service. He is always in a great mood and happy plus extremely respectful. My husband is a DC hotel manager. I've told Owen many times I would love to steal him and pay him $25/hr to run the front desk. He is very loyal to Jersey Mikes. Tasty food, tiny baby portions. I think this is this case at all Jersey Mike's locations, and it has never made sense to me. I can either pay nine bucks for a tiny baby cheesesteak, or fifteen bucks for a totally oversized cheesesteak. What if I just want a regular sized lunch? Anyway, I ordered the nine dollar cheesesteak with chips and a drink, and I'm still hungry. I'm not a person with a big appetite or anything. When I go to McDonald's, for example, I order just a burger with no fries, and that's usually filling for me. Why doesn't Jersey Mike's just make their portions a little bit bigger? This is a common complaint, it's all over the Internet, not sure why they don't just fix it. Their food is delicious. Kayla and Rainbow were super cool, very hospitable and genuinely nice people to be around. Rainbow killed on the phone, she intelligently conveyed the menu and brought me right to the shop. I've never been in a place where the lack of experience and communication by the sandwich make and the manager were so in-tune ! The sandwich-maker lack of experience kept him from making an order , after being informed 4 times! He even replied my request each time but still was unable to preform the request! The manager who was sitting at a near by table playing computer video games started " oh he was just trying to get it right " 4 times " with repetitive return replay is more than getting it right,! On July 3, 2023 at 6: 15 pm, I visited this establishment (PWC Prkway) after my dentist appointment. I was very hungry and ordered two Giant sandwiches (#16 & #6) and gave a tip. As I was waiting for the order to be prepared, I noticed that the entire tub of lettuce was brown. I asked the young man, who appeared to be a leader of the 4 to 5 young ladies working that day, if he could cut some fresh lettuce. The young man stated that the lettuce was all of the lettuce that was cut for the day and that nothing would be cut. I told him that the lettuce is brown, old not fresh and that I did not want it on a freshly made sandwich. He then stuck his hand in the tub and flipped, and mixed the lettuce in an attempt to hide the brown lettuce. It did not help. I asked him if he would eat the lettuce? He said, No. I then asked him, why would you expect me to eat brown lettuce? The young man then stated, "Bro, you dont have to have lettuce on your sandwiches." I told him that I wanted lettuce and that lettuce is included with the sandwiches. I also told him not to call me Bro, as I am 58 years old and a paying customer. He then stated again that I didnt have to have lettuce. I asked him if he was a manager and he said no and that he can call one or give me a refund. I told him to give me a refund. Food is about presentation and business is about good customer service. To engage with a paying customer in the manner that this young man had done was unprofessional, and to address me in the way he had done was insulting. I love the food here. I visit at least once a week for the last year or so. Allow me to give my two cents. Customer service is not the best or should I say is terrible over the phone. Attitudes and sometimes they disconnect the phones so you can't call in. There's no way the line is busy for a whole hour. After the hostile phone call I always show up with positive energy. The staff it's so cheerful and welcoming in person. They are some of the fakest people in Woodbridge. Keep that same energy you had when you answered the phone. And please stop staring at the chip reader to see if I'm going to leave you a tip. So annoying. People have peripheral vision and we can see you. Hopefully this can be taken as creative criticism because the truth is that I love the place and I bring friends and family with me all the time to spend money and support you guys. Stop telling me over the phone that my order takes 20 to 30 minutes when I know it only takes a third of that time and my sandwich is always ready when I get there within ten minutes. We have been totally hooked on their subs. No chips needed, so that alone tells you how much delicious meat they stack on your sub. The steak and cheese are divine and plentiful! Out of all the sandwich choices around, it's at the top of the list. I'm from Philly and I get nostalgic for a good hoagie and cheesesteak from time to time. This place is not the real thing but it's as close as I've gotten in Virginia. Beats subway, firehouse, etc hands down. Bread is good and thick, meats are piled high and look like real meat not over processed crap, cheese is excellent. I've only had the turkey & provolone - my usual go to, the chicken parm- too much sauce on the sandwich and the chicken was not breaded it was just ok, and a cheesesteak which was really good. Staff is usually friendly and patient while you decide what the heck you want.
