I thought I had taken more pictures of my food but I guess I didn't! But I can tell you the food is FIRE! OMG! The ladies back in there be putting it down! I tried this place the first time time off of Grubhub and we all know sometimes Grubhub drivers can be a hit or miss with the delivery but I can say the food came in tact! And when I tell you the shrimp Caesar salad and the shrimp Alfredo was the bomb! Flavorful and just creamy and so good. So I decided to go in after work this time around to save a little coin. Because we all know those food delivery services and charge be adding up. So when I order over the phone and went to go pick up. While I waited the nice lady asked if I wanted a drink. So I decided on wine and y'all known what! Baby...she gave me the whole bottle! I was like really?? And she was like yes because we don't sale much. I couldn't believe it! I haven't been to this location yet but I used to visit Joe's Place when it was on Rt1 across from Woodbridge Auto Sales in Potomac Plaza. That location was great. I love the Hippie Rolls....They're my favorite. I found this place in the mid 80's. Back then it was always really busy but never really noisy. The employees were really helpful with all my questions. I'll have to visit this new location soon. I'm getting hungry just thinking of Hippie Rolls... lol read more

Hotel we stayed at recommended Joe's Place for good food and delivery. We had been on the road driving all day and were hungry. So much junk food off the main roads in different states. Looking at their menu they had very good choices. Spaghetti and meatballs were so delicious and homemade with garlic bread and a cannoli for desert. I was visiting the VA area and decided to try Joe's based on the reviews I read. I was not let down. The pizza was good, fresh and delivered within the hour. I ordered a large pepperoni and (Italian) sausage pizza. I'm used to the crumbles/ground style of sausage on pizza. Joe's uses sliced Italian sausage but it was a bit dryer than what I'm used to. That said, it was still good pizza! I also ordered a spicy hippie roll which had the right amount of spice and flavor. Next time, I just may order a side of marinara for the roll. Customer service from the person taking the order and the delivery guy was also pretty good. Try Joe's. You won't be disappointed. read more

Ordered a late dinner. Pizza was great, definitely better than the big box pizza stores. The pizza reminded of a late night New York style street pizza. Just enough cheese and sauce. Kids loved the Alfredo pasta and the Joes wings were nicely cooked and had good flavoring. The Hippie Roll was a little over cooked for me but flavor wise it tasted good. This is a hole in the wall restaurant that looked run down. I ordered a gyro, fries, hippie roll and cannoli. The gyro was okay, the fries were hard and cold and the cannoli was messy and inedible. The only thing I liked was the spicy hippie roll. Not going back here again. read more

OMG I don't know how I've never stumbled upon this place. It's in a run down shopping center most people don't go to anymore, but don't let that fool you. I saw this place advertised on Postmates, and decided to try it. I am not huge on chain pizza places. The food is crazy good! I tried their calzone, which is one of the best calzones I've ever had. I only order cheese calzones, and a lot of times a good third of the calzone is bread on the ends. This was super stuffed with cheese, and had great flavor. Their fettuccini is amazing! Way better than olive garden or any other restaurant around here. The ravioli was good, and their pizza is delicious. I was super excited that they had eggplant as a topping. They gave me tons of eggplant on my slice, and it was delicious. Their pizza is NY style but a little thick at the same time so that it doesnt just flop over and then all of the toppings fall off. My experience at Astoria pizza across the street was a complete disaster twice, do yourself a favor and go across the street to Joe's, it is my new go to spot. The prices are really reasonable as well. I got a tiny greasy pizza with the cheese completely fallen off and 5 inches of disgusting inedible lasagna at Astoria. I received a huge calzone, 2 huge slices of pizza with toppings, ravioli, fettuccine, and a drink for the same price. The delivery was also really fast, and arrived hot and fresh. read more

I've eating at Joe's for over 30 years. A few changes, location being one, owners of course. However the food is still great. Home of the Hippie Roll. Mild or spicy, can't be beat. The Zep sub, fully loaded, cold or hot is the best Italian sub I've eaten. They still have the best deal in town, order 2 full sized subs, 3rd free. Can't beat that. Oh, and the pizza is really good as well. I order take out, and when picking up, the owner always greets me like family. Will continue my patronage. Highly recommend. read more

Great service. Great atmosphere. We came on a Friday night and there was a live band playing. The band was phenomenal. I would come back here just to hear the band. The food was okay. My favorite thing about the pizza was the dough.The wings had a lot of fat on them, so I ended up picking at it. The hippie roll seemed to be made with the same dough as the pizza, which I Iiked. We had a good time here. The other patrons were so friendly, it felt like we were dining with friends all around us. You need to come on a Friday night between 5 - 9 PM to check out the band.
