I made every effort to reach out to them to try to contact them, but the restaurant was closed yet. this restaurant not only did not make themselves available for patrons to contact them, but they have the nerve to charge my credit card $50 for not even walking into the door of their establishment. What kind of business is that ? The female owner of this restaurant said and I quote ..,"this is common for any restaurant". My husband and I have eaten out at several restaurants in Avalon, Sea Isle and Stone Harbor and I can assure you we have never experienced charges to a credit card for not even walking in the door of the restaurant so I have no idea what the owner is talking. We have eaten at "several restaurants" in Stone Harbor and Sea Isle area including La Fatina Coast, Lafinestra, Restauranta Luciano, Spagetti, and they have never charged for a cancellation 6 hours before the scheduled and especially when an emergency.
