Welcomed immediately into low lights and open atmosphere. Came in for cervezas, served at the bar, then decided on getting the most well seasoned Cesar Salad with homemade dressing!! No proof of salad life because we devoured it!! Super tempted to get another! =D Without a doubt, the food here is legit!! Next time, we're coming hungry and thirsty!! In PVR? La Posta, come check it!!

We had the pepperoni pizza and it was delicious. Different than any other pepperoni pizza we have ever had. The cheese had a softness to it and the sauce was perfect. The service was also excellent and everyone was so friendly. Highly recommend!

The food was delicious!! If I can give this a 6 star review I would! Beautiful view of Puerto Vallarta. Drinks and service was perfect. I took an Uber to this location due to parking being hectic. After done eating you can talk a walk on the malecón and enjoy the view and amazing weather.

Headed to the Malecón so that Casey and Amanda could get some sightseeing in for the day. Looked for a place to eat and decided on La Posta Italian restaurant. Very good choice, excellent views, good selection of food and drinks. I had the Risotto with shrimp and asparagus, washed down with a Modelo Negra. It was nice to try something different than our usual choices.

I had the penne salmone and vodka which was creamy and full of flavor. No extra sauce needed! My husband had the fritto misto. ( 4 shrimp, calamari, fried zucchini with basil dressing. During happy hour we also had the 2 for one margaritas which did not skimp on the alcohol. I might be a little tipsy writing this review but it is very accurate.

Sometimes you want to eat by the beach but still have aircon. My husband got the a pizza with blue cheese and shrimp. I was expecting it to be disgusting! Blue cheese and shrimp? It was actually delicious. I had the shrimp spaghetti. It's super awkward to eat spaghetti in a restaurant. I lack the coordination to do so gracefully. It was good though. I would come back. Maybe not tomorrow but probably the next time I start craving pasta.

Enjoying the view and drinks before getting food

Cant wait to leave a review, so doing it right now, without leaving the place. I am here with my family. We looked for a nice lunch spot before our flight back to home after vacation. We really love this place and will recommend our friends or those who is reading it. The food is delicious, the service is very good since the first moment we jumped out of the taxi d/t rainy weather. Rafael is very very nice and does his best to satisfy. Thank you guys, we will come back whenever we are in Puerto Vallarta.

We had been vacationing in Puerto Vallarta for a few days and we'd been wanting to go out to el malecón to have dinner. We came across this spot and it did not disappoint. The restaurant is located right in the malecón and has the best views. Perfect for sunset dinner. The food was delicious, my husband ordered the ravioli, I had the pescado a la posta w/ ensalada mixta, and ordered a pizza for my daughter. I would highly recommend the tamarindo margarita. The service was great!

I ordered uber from here. I was both skeptical and optimistic lol. The pizza was good, nothing amazing but not bad. They were very generous with the cheese. It was filling! I believe it was wood fired. The tomato/mozzarella salad was fresh and good. Tomatoes were not orange and not completely red either but they worked. I was saddened to see salad instead of basil but whatever. Again they were generous with the cheese.! Unfortunately i asked for utensils and they didnt provide any... so i had to eat the tomatoes with my hands.........

Great food, great views, great service. Ordered the fritto misto (breaded calamari, shrimp, and zuchinni) appetizer. I had the ravioli which is made I house, and the SO ordered a pasta with clams. The waiter suggested we try a risotto dessert, but it wasn't that great. Great spot for sunset viewing.

    Me surfing in punta burros.

I noticed right away that the kitchen is tiny. It made me wonder how they manage to put out so much food. Service was standard. Nothing to complain about while we were sitting there, but the aftermath was a disaster. My partner and I both got extremely sick a few hours after leaving. It was pretty clearly food poisoning, likely salmonella based on the symptoms. It is very disappointing since so many people talk this place up. I will not be going back. Would really caution and avoid if older or immunocompromised.

From the moment you walk in, you find yourself in a different country. The pleasant ambiance with fully air conditioned space and welcoming smiles of the staff were the best appetizer besides the one the Chef offered - delicious fried calamari and shrimp. I'm bad with names so I unfortunately forgot the name of the young kind man who was assisting me with my dinner. He explained the meaning behind the 3 plates on the menu and further shared that the menu is changed periodically and that the entire team is involved. Including staff in decision making is highly valued in my world. Everyone is part of the family and feels the belonging. I could tell it was the case. I didn't want to drink alcohol so I opted for mixed berry drink. Amazing flavor. For main dish I had a steak with Fettuccine or Tagliatelle pasta in creamy sauce, corn and asparagus. The chef asked if I preferred the steak to be precut or in one piece. I opted for the first option. I finished with double espresso served in an espresso cup. The attention to detail was fantastic and assured me of the high quality of the restaurant. I've been to Italy over 20 times and ate at high quality places. The Tri Piatti resembles such high quality! Truly Italian experience. I will definitely recommend it to everyone I know (and I know a lot of people) and when I'm back in town I'll definitely visit again.

Pro tip: Make your reservation about 30 minutes before sunset. You'll have just enough time to order a glass of wine and watch the sunset while taking some incredible photos overlooking the water. The wine list is excellent and pairs perfectly with the menu. The cocktails, however, are the one miss for me. Now let's talk comida (look it up kids) You're probably going to think I've lost my mind, but you have to order the lasagna. I know what you're thinking: "Who let this guy be Yelp Elite?" Hear me out - just trust the process. It is hands-down one of the best dishes on the menu and completely changed my expectations of what to order here. If you're craving seafood, the lobster is a very close second. It's cooked perfectly in a garlic-infused butter and served with mashed potatoes. On paper it sounds like an unusual pairing, but one bite in and it all makes sense. La Cappella is a refreshing change of pace from the taco scene in Puerto Vallarta. Between the romantic setting (there's at least two violin players), the sunset views, the fantastic wine selection, and a meal you'll be talking about afterward, it's absolutely worth the reservation. Remember: don't skip the lasagna! Cheers!

I started with a glass of wine, which was absolutely perfect, and then ordered the **lasagna**. Let me tell you... THIS LASAGNA WAS HUGE. It was such a massive portion that I ended up taking half of it back to my Airbnb. Honestly, two people could easily share one order and both leave completely full. And the best part? It wasn't just a giant portion -- it was **really good**. Exactly the kind of comforting, hearty Italian meal you want when you're on vacation. I'll definitely be back.
