Love the authenticity of Mexican food eat outside and enjoy the weather. You could enjoyed your torta with tomato salsa non spicy or with only abanero salsa supper spicy.

    Torta Ahoga

Drawn to this north Hollywood outpost by a well known Mexican Chef buddy, with the promise of the definitive Torta Ahogada. The eponymous sandwich originating from Guadalajara, made from "bigote" or Pan Salado" stuffed with tender pork then "drown" in a very spicy salsa containing varying amounts of chile de arbol and chipotle. The version at La Ramadita was also soaked in a pork au jus as well. It was a delicious rendition, garnished with some simple fresh cut onions and more of a super spicy salsa to elevate your chile content, as if it really needs it. Also notable, the make a bad-assed Barbacoa taco that is not to be missed if you happen to be a fan of this dish. Its a very divvy hole in the wall kind of place with a few communal tables under a makeshift tent. I like it!

    Potato tacos

These are some of the best Tortas aghogadss I have ever eaten that includes the ones have had in Mexico. The potato tacos are also great.

Small place with huge portions. Tacos are extremely delicious especially with their signature sauce. Now I'm a fan of street Mexican food.

Tortas ahogadas are okay. But in my opinion too small for the price its like eating a bolillo with carnitas. Not worth the price.

Tortas ahogadas are too small for the price. The carnitas are lacking flavor. The tacos de barbacoa on the other hand are very tasty.

We were in the neighborhood and searched Yelp for a good taco spot--this place had great reviews,…read moreso we decided to give it a try. From the outside, it's small and unassuming, but don't let that fool you. We ordered the birria queso tacos, asada queso tacos, and regular asada tacos--every single one was absolutely delicious. They also gave us a consommé to try, which was really flavorful and a perfect addition. It's a family-owned business, which we always love to support. The young girl who took our order and seated us (I think her name was Arian?) was incredibly sweet and had better customer service than many adults--she truly stood out. Overall, the service was warm and welcoming, and we've already recommended this spot to friends. We'll definitely be back!

It was on a Sunday morning around 10 am. It was pretty busy, we had to wait for a table for family of 5 for about 20 minutes, not bad. I noticed that after 11:30 the rush was over. We all asked for the same plate. Birria with rice and beans. We wanted the handmade tortillas so it was a little extra but it was worth it. The Birria was so flavorful and Delicious! The waitress was so attentive and sweet! We will definitely be back!

They've got a good-sized bar, but the booths are just as comfortable if you're looking for something more relaxed. The bean dip is absolutely delicious, and the chicken taquitos and margaritas are made to perfection. My family and I have also ordered catering from them for our Christmas parties, and although it's first-come-first-served (which can be a bit of a hassle), it was completely worth it. The amount of food we got for the price quoted was an absolute steal. Since this is their best location in my opinion, it does get packed and you can end up waiting a while. But it's worth it every time, especially given how great the food is. The staff is wonderful too, doing a great job of taking orders and getting everything out in a reasonable amount of time. My only complaint is the parking; it's quite limited, so consider yourself lucky if you find a spot!

Noticed they have an outside area. Service was very good. We had a group of 5. Got the margarita, blend of mango and peach! On the rocks. Very good. Shrimp fajitas. Big portions, couldn't finish. I like this place, maybe it's changed over the years? I read some of not all the one star reviews…read more I still like it but I'm gonna say it's expensive for what it is and that's probably cause I'm old and yeah everything is expensive if it's good. Which its actually pretty great. I had two birria tacos and a coke. Wanted more food so I'll come back to try the shrimp burrito. Here is also how I know it's great, it's clean and the salsa bar is delicious and divine. I'm happy it's near by where I live and I just wish I made more money to go here more often. My favorite was the al pastor--I thought it was really flavorful and juicy even without any extra sauce. My husband's favorite was the steak. The chicken tacos were a bit dry but had a real nice flavor. I also got a steak quesadilla which I really enjoyed. The restaurant is located in a tiny shopping center. I didn't have any trouble finding parking but I can imagine it would be harder to find parking if it was busier. Service was actually a lot quicker than I expected--the store seemed busy when I ordered, but my food was done in less than 10 minutes. We would return again for Taco Tuesday!
