Were in town for a few days and craved Mexican food. We were overwhelmed by the options, but Yelp suggested this place when we did a quick search. Reviews looked good. Too lazy to dine in after a long day, so did take out instead and took it back to hotel. We did family style dinner for 5 people. Food was good amount for us. Everything was packaged nicely. Flavors were great and everyone was fed. I wouldn't get house salad or quesadilla again just because for the price, it wasn't anything special.

What a great place I have been coming for years. Very fair prices and $5 draft beers with no BS big "foam it up". You get a real pour here. Everyone here is so friendly and attentive, chips came within one minute- nice touch. Happy hour is 2-7. It is awesome. Clean, fair prices, good food, great bar/restaurant. One if not the best in Burbank. For sure best Mexican restaurant.

    Stuffed shrimp wrapped in bacon

We just left Los Amigos for my birthday dinner. I told the waiter it's my birthday. I ordered the stuffed shrimp wrapped in bacon and my husband ordered Mahi Mahi. My food was deep fried and crispy and it smelled bad like a fish house. My husband's Mahi Mahi was way over cooked. I didn't get anything special for my birthday but I did hear someone else's table with waiters singing happy birthday to them. This is the first and last time at Los Amigos. Adios amigo.

Well, just flew in from Florida and my first stop was here. Good reviews except for some isolated incidents. I will say - I Love This Place! Great vibe, friendly and fast service, great prices, and fantastic food! I'll be back soon!

I loved the vibe and the ambience of this restaurant. So I'm from Texas and as soon as I walk in I felt right at home. Our waiter was so nice and helpful with the menu. I ordered the combo plate #4 two chicken enchiladas w/ ranchero sauce and a crispy taco. It was really tasty. The only critique I was say is I would have liked my shredded chicken to be shredded better. I had big chunks and was hard to cut through with my fork. But over all delicious. Rice and beans were very tasty. I will be back to try fajitas.

Arrived around 730pm on a Friday night and was sat right away in the dog friendly patio. Very fast and friendly service. They brought a bowl of water for our dog without us having to ask. There were heaters in the patio so it was nice and cozy. The carne asada burrito was delicious. The red sauce that they pour over had so much flavor I could have drank it. The carne asada was cooked perfectly. Carnitas were delicious. My husband and I usually share but we gobbled it up so fast cause it was that good. Too bad we live so far away!

We were scoping all of Burbank for a nice burger place, but when we past by Los Amigos bar and grill, the idea of margaritas changed my mind. Arrived here on a Saturday afternoon around 4pm and had to get a seat on their lovely outside patio. I love a patio; its a great excuse to snag a few bits of the final moments of summer. One big come up here is not only do they bring you chips and salsa (which were delicious) but, they also bring you a little bowl of refried beans as an additional dip for our chips (absolutely clutch). We also got, what we thought would be a, little bowl of guac, but it was huge. So Nice! For our main, we opted for the beef fajitas which honestly, was perfect! It was large with more than enough meat and veg to fill us up. The rice and beans that accompanied were super delicious as well. I definitely made sure to grab some flour AND corn tortillas. Everything was great. And of course, we made sure to get a few blended margaritas (mango, coconut, and banana) all were great and refreshing. Great little visit to Los Amigos. It was totally an impromptu visit, but im sure to intentionally return again.

Wow lol this might be my favorite Mexican restaurant!! It's causal but also nice to bring family and the staff is super nice! The food was really good, súper fresh chips and dips. I love how the dishes aren't soaked in cheese that's my favorite part. Great prices for the quality. For a Mexican place my family loved the ribs! Súper tender and juicy. They have a big menu and all the dishes always good sooo good. Adding this restaurant to my rotation!

I have been coming here and had nothing but rave experiences but recently went here for Cinco de Mayo hoping to get some good deals on margaritas and appetizers while in Happy Hour. We got there early and it was packed. Unfortunately without us knowing they bait and switched us and that particular Monday they killed both the happy hour menu and the Margarita Monday specials. wtf?! I love this place and I see how a margarita special will kill your liquor sales but the happy hour menu? I live on being able to go there and get some appetizers plus an entree and some beer until 7pm for a better price. Felt a bit deceived and wasn't happy with how things went that day. I'll keep coming back but always beware that this restaurant will bait and switch you to make extra money by not fulfilling their specials (some days or holidays). I did appreciate the mariachi band that was there. Was nice.

Again!!! Another visit! I hope this never closes down! Great food! Wonderful service! Atmosphere was magnificent as always!!! However now that I'm updating my review.... It is not the same! Things definitely taste different! Not in a good way.

Wow--this hidden gem in the suburbs (aka Burbank) is absolutely amazing! The ambiance and service are top-tier: fast, attentive, and on point from start to finish. I live in the DTLA/Echo Park area and, as a born-and-raised Angeleno, this was my first time making the trip out here--and it was 100% worth it. I met a friend for happy hour, and fair warning: the drinks are strong and delicious. They go down way too easily. I had three and was definitely feeling it. Dinner was just as impressive. The meat course I ordered was cooked perfectly rare, exactly how I like it. The bean and salsa dip was a standout--rich, flavorful, and paired perfectly with the chips.bthe calamari was ok, I wouldn't order it again. Everything else wow, the rich flavors, even the red hot sauce and cilantro sauce, I want a whole cup to go. Overall, an incredible experience from drinks to dinner. I can't wait to come back. Highly recommended!

The draw back is this place is very crowed during peak times and it a little too small considering the amount of customers that come. I've driven past Papa's Meat and Seafood on Glenoaks Blvd a dozen times, on our many trips to the area. We alway promising that we would stop in, and I'd finally stop in. Honestly, my only regret is waiting this long. I ordered the Luka Sandwich, which is loaded with their 14-hour smoked pastrami brisket, cheddar, pickled cherry peppers, iceberg, and Papa's aioli on toasted sourdough. The pastrami itself is a work of art--smoky, melt-in-your-mouth tender, and seasoned perfectly without being a total salt bomb. The pickled cherry peppers give it this incredible, bright pop of heat that cuts right through the richness of the beef. It's a messy, beautiful monster of a sandwich.  My wife went with the Surf 'n' Turf Bowl, which comes with their marinated "Crack Shrimp" and grilled angus beef over rice with a fresh shirazi salad. The beef was incredibly tender, but those crack shrimp stole the show--snappy, heavily seasoned, and completely addictive. You can clearly taste the quality of a high-end butcher shop in a casual, quick-service lunch.  The only reason I'm knocking off one star is the wait time and the seating is also pretty limited, so it's much better suited for a grab-and-go situation than a sit-down date night. That being said, the quality of the meat here blows standard sandwich joints completely out of the water. If you're in Burbank and want a lunch that actually feels high-quality and satisfying, do yourself a favor and drop in. I'm already eyeing the A5 Wagyu Cheesesteak for my next visit!

It's basically two shish-kebab style sticks of seasoned swordfish, peppers, and tomatoes, and it's served with a few sides in addition to fried veggies and shrimp. I also really enjoy their tacos. They also have very generous servings of poke (I personally don't get the poke from here because it's already mixed in with raw onions and I don't like raw onion). The manager finally told his employee to help me order on the kiosk and then that's when I realized you can only order through the kiosk and I told him I got it. Secondly, most of the tables were clean but the one booth we wanted in the corner so I cleaned it and we got our seat. Lastly, the fries were over cooked and a little too crispy/hard. They were seasoned good but just way too crispy and hard. Now for the good! The Lobster Rolls were really good! I ordered the two lobster roll combo with fries and a drink and the boys ordered fish & chips kids meals. It seemed like they had no issues and liked their meals. Overall, I would 100% be back for the lobster rolls but they need to clean up the area a little better. They also need to take the fries out sooner than they did. This place would be solid with a few fixes. OOOC 3.5 out of 5 Afros

For our last dinner on our Studio City trip, my sister and bro-in-law booked Ca Del Sole, an…read moreItalian restaurant in Toluca Lake they always wanted to try. Toluca Lake is an expensive area in LA, but the actual lake is fenced in and not available to the public. I even had trouble finding it on Google Map, but I did see the Hollywood Reservoir, LOL! The restaurant is good-sized and very trendy yet welcoming for families. Parking is $7 valet. They have a surprisingly big kid's menu and have a good mix of seafood and meaty entrees. Highly recommend the grilled Spanish octopus with white beans. Very tender. The Bruschetta was also very good - crispy at first bite but then super soft and melts in the mouth. Wife and I both got fish entrees. She had the chilean sea bass special while I went for the excellent bown-sugar smoked Scottish Salmon. It was a nice thick piece, but very moist and tasty. Our 6yo son got the penne pasta with butter sauce and chicken, one of his favorites. An excellent Italian restaurant for date night or family dinner. Their big menu and excellent service are 5-star worthy.

We told the waiter we were sharing so he split the dishes for us! Food was great tasting, presented well and appropriate portions. We sat inside and the booths were comfortable. We walked by the patio area and it seemed pretty lively on a Friday night.
