caldo de res
Isabella S.

One of my favorite spots to grab caldo de res or abondigas. Their tacos always hit. I'm so lucky my stepdad is Mexican so he takes me to all the good spots. The ladies are super friendly and give great service! Their corn tortillas are made in house and so good. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The store is cute and has tvs on both ends of the store, one in english, one in spanish.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I'll be back soon!

Chili Verde Burrito (Mojado)

Just got a Chili Verde Burrito Mojado to go, and it was great! The Chili was nice and spicy, and the pork melted in the mouth. Highly recommend!

Come on guys... 3 times I had to go back. First wasn't the wet supreme burrito Went back Gave me another burrito Wasn't the wet burrito like the picture. They said she thought I said another burrito I don't even know the name of. I wanted the sour crème and avocado on the top Like the picture. Chicken wet supreme burrito. All they did for the third time is add sour crème on top and avocado. It was cold. Why couldn't we start all over And get a New Hot Burrito??! 3 times I went back. It was slow. I wish I knew more Spanish so they could understand Now I have a cold burrito Thanks guys. Not coming back. Not like it matters I get it. But come..... on

We were in the neighborhood and searched Yelp for a good taco spot--this place had great reviews,…read moreso we decided to give it a try. From the outside, it's small and unassuming, but don't let that fool you. We ordered the birria queso tacos, asada queso tacos, and regular asada tacos--every single one was absolutely delicious. They also gave us a consommé to try, which was really flavorful and a perfect addition. It's a family-owned business, which we always love to support. The young girl who took our order and seated us (I think her name was Arian?) was incredibly sweet and had better customer service than many adults--she truly stood out. Overall, the service was warm and welcoming, and we've already recommended this spot to friends. We'll definitely be back!

It was on a Sunday morning around 10 am. It was pretty busy, we had to wait for a table for family of 5 for about 20 minutes, not bad. I noticed that after 11:30 the rush was over. We all asked for the same plate. Birria with rice and beans. We wanted the handmade tortillas so it was a little extra but it was worth it. The Birria was so flavorful and Delicious! The waitress was so attentive and sweet! We will definitely be back!

This is a Happy Hour Review…read more Hrs 2-6 Mon-Fri - We got there around 4pm and was the only ones in the bar for a good 30mins! I have eaten at Mucho Mas several times!! It is one of my favorite Mexican restaurants. I love that it's 5 mins from me. We got the $8 margaritas $10 for blended - Jose the Bartender did hook us up because we were over tipsy but under drunk by time we left Sorry no pics of our actual meals but I got the Sope: it was fried really hard and my hubby got the wings. All I can say is we should have stuck with our usual sour cream enchiladas. Pat our server was so nice. He made sure we were taken care of. The ambiance takes us back to Playa del Carmen, MX - it's just beautiful inside!! There is a small parking lot. If I were you I would park on the street. So When it's 5 o'clock Somewhere- the somewhere is at Mucho Mas Happy Hour!!!!

I had dinner here for the first time since they reopened. I love what they've done with the dining…read moreroom. While the old booths were always kind of cool, the new tables give it a fresher look. The good: The service was fantastic! That's rare to find these days. Our waiter told us he had been there for 41 years so they must treat their employees well. The Margarita flight was amazing! They have so many flavors to choose from and you get your choice of four flavors. The cheese enchilada was absolutely loaded with cheese and had a great cheese pull. It didn't include the peppers that our waiter asked us if we wanted, but it tasted great without them so that wasn't a big deal. The bad: While I loved the flavor of the shrimp fajitas I ordered, I was very disappointed that there was only six shrimp in the entire thing. At almost $25, I expected more than six shrimp. The texture and flavor of the shrimp was delicious though. If you haven't been to Mucho Mas or haven't been back to since they reopened, go!

Came here to catch up with a cousin on a Saturday afternoon and man oh man, beyond impressed!!…read more First of all, it brought me back good memories from the last time I went to Mexico City!! The waiter recommended me the cafe de olla, and it was amazing!! Also ordered the tortitas de papa, which were again, amazing! My cousin ordered, what looked like a loaded avocado toast that she said was really good. I felt like I was back in Mexico City on a Saturday morning from the decor, to silver wear, to the lucha libre figures by the restroom. Too cute! Exceptional services with the recommendations on the menu and waiters being so attentive! Will definitely be coming back for some more cafe de olla!

I want to start this review off by saying that the food tasted great. No issues there. The inside…read morewas also very nice. I loved the vibe. However, there were a few things that outshined the taste of the food. To start, our food was COLD. We had already waited about 20ish minutes. Honestly can't recall but enough time had passed by and we were just hungry. We drove in for business from the IE and had other things to do so we couldn't wait to have it be remade. But from the tortilla, the meat, and the beans it was cold. The only thing hot was the egg on top and so that makes me wonder how fresh everything was. Oh and the description of the plate says it comes with beans but tbh it's just a smear under everything. We ate what we could until the entire plate was too cold to enjoy. The agua de Jamaica was intense. I had to add water to balance out how strong it was. But once I added more water it was nice. What's funny about my Jamaica is that when I was served it our server literally said "here" and handed it to me. Which was funny to us because that's never happened to us anywhere. Usually you get a kinder approach like "here is that Jamaica" not just "here". And with that, the service was mediocre. It wasn't genuine or authentic. Which is kind of sad given the prices of the food and how upscale it is. You kind of expect a more authentic and overall amicable experience. But it wasn't. I felt like a person there to give them my money which is true but I never felt like a welcomed customer. A one time of visit for us for sure.
