This place was amazing. A very festive yet intimate Mexican vibe. Our server Arturo was amazing. He was attentive to our table. Hopefully he's there again. Next time we will go. The food was pretty good. I had a Carne Asada dish and girlfriend had the torta. I've never seen a torta being over $20 before but she said it was good. The chips and bean dip was a nice touch.

Arrived Saturday around 2:15. And there was a line to get the parking lot ! Say what ???? Well I jumped out and put our name in. I was told 25 mins, went back to the car and we waited about 15 mins and got a spot. No problem. And by then, our table was ready. I have not been back to this location in about 8-9 years. Noticed they have an outside area. Service was very good. We had a group of 5. Got the margarita, blend of mango and peach! On the rocks. Very good. Shrimp fajitas. Big portions, couldn't finish. Bathrooms were clean and spacious. Will come back , sooner!

05/31/2026 It's been a minute before the last time I came here. I miss this spot. I have tried so many Mexican restaurants and none had the amazing flavor you get from Salsa and Beer! As I last remembered, their was a line to get into the parking lot but it moved quickly (5 car wait). I waited no more then 10 mins before I was escorted to my parking spot. The wait time for groups 2 people or more was about 35 mins, not to bad compared to their usual 50-85mins. Because I know my way around this restaurant I went straight for their 2nd bar off to the left past the entrance and what did you, there was plenty of room to sit down enjoy a nice house Margarita, eat and watch today's Dodgers game ! While the bartender was busy he immediately greeted me then offered if I wanted anything to drink! I ordered the House Margarita which does the job every single time! My drink arrived within 3 mins along with freshly made warm chips and their renowned bean dip! I love their bean dip! Within 5 mins or less I placed my order Guadalajara Carnitas and I added charred Jalapeños on top! This is the dish that made me fall in love with this place! The food came in under 10 mins. Just as I was finishing my 1st Margarita. The flavors were just as I remembered! BOLD, RICH, CREAMY and SPICY JUST HOW I LIKE IT! I did visit their salsa bar as I always benefit from more flavorful spice! 2 large plates were placed in front of me, one with the cárnitas sitting on top of grilled onions and peppers covered with a soft stretchy cheese along side of a small salad. The 2nd full plate had a bit more salad along with the rice and beans! Their rice was on point along with their beans! They also brought a decent amount of flour tortillas wrapped in foil. The bartender checked up on my several times which was great yet not overbearing. Absolutely great experience! Exactly what I remember this place being except for the price of the food almost doubled! Lol, almost forgot to mention that. My meal along with 2 Margarita's was about $55 before tip and it was well worth it! I had a great experience and I look forward to going back again soon! Thank you Salsa and Beer #2 !!!

The portions are huge and really satisfying. The asada is marinated so good and has that wood grilled flavor. As a taco it's the best. The salsa bar and bean dip are perfect. Service is very good and the Zacatecas themed bar and dining area are so cool.

I could not believe how packed this place was. Although it was extremely crowded, the service was fast and efficient and catered to my needs perfectly! Unfortunately I came here after a long road trip and was trying to get in and out as quickly as possible. I would love to come back here and spend some time at the bar and enjoying the crowd! Good lookin staff an good looking patrons. Would not mind watching football all day here on a Sunday. The he food was excellent as well! I was pleasantly surprised to find out it was Zacatecas style; it hats where my family is from and it made me smile. I wish there was one closer to me but I'll be back if I'm in the area!

Its a popular place so parking and even the waiting time is notoriously obnoxious. Large salsa bar with large portions. I did order take out and everyone was friendly and helpful. Its a darker and louder vibe so maybe not the best first date night kinda night.

This is a go to place at my work when there's a special occasion and lunch is being bought for us. I remember one time we tried ordering from somewhere new around Christmas, but they were closed, but Salsa & Beer came to the rescue. Not only were they open, but the food was prepared quickly and there was so much of it that we had a proper holiday feast. First of all, the portions by themselves are big, like I always end up taking half of what I ordered home. Secondly, on top of the main dishes, they give us bags and bags of chips and a bunch of extra rolled tortillas wrapped in foil. Lastly, everything just tastes good. That being said, I'm sure that we'll be ordering from them again in the near future.

The simple things that makes you happy. We actually found parking in the lot in the back....lol.... This place regardless whenever you come is alway pretty packed. Saturday early afternoon we stopped by to meet some friends for lunch. Like mentioned we actually got parking in the back which was amazing. Parking can be a bitch as the lot is alway full which leaves you looking for parking in the neighborhood. When we walked in, there wasn't a line so we got seated right away. But it was quite busy already. You order off the QR code on the table. I'm sure if you ask for a menu they'll bring it out. And of course chips and bean dip alway comes out for your enjoyment. Plus the salsa bar if you're needing something extra. Drinks to start with margaritas and beer. Hey, it's Mexican food. Margaritas were quite tasty which is a plus and pretty big in size. Entrees, my usual the Guadalajara fajitas. A combination of steak, chicken and shrimp with grilled veggies and drizzled with the spicy chipotle sauce. That comes with rice and beans and tortillas. It's a must and the portions is pretty big. Good for sharing. Everything comes out piping hot and sizzling. Other dishes had was the steak burrito which is the size of your arm. It's massive and comes with rice and beans as well. A combination plate with enchiladas and taco and the enchiladas plate. Everything pretty much comes with rice and beans. Food is alway excellent. The salsa bar is great with a load of sauces to choose from. Depending on your spice level, there's pretty much a good selection. Chips and dips is bottomless but don't overdo it. Better enjoy your food. Price wise is good. For the amount of food you get, it's worth it. There's a full bar on hand. By the time we left, there was a line both for dining and the parking lot. People know and love this place which is why it's alway busy. There's also a few other locations throughout the valley. I would say it's a valley staples for Mexican food.

    Can't miss it ..!

If you read my reviews you'll know I don't go handing out 5 stars all willy nilly, however I have never had a bad experience here. The service is great and the food is always fast. They have several locations but this is the only one I've been to. There's multiple TVs near the bar areas, usually playing sports. Never heard any music jn there nor is it really loud. It's a little dark and divey on the inside, with lots of smoke from all the sizzling fajita plates being brought to tables. Items I personally recommend: The taquitos: they're not dry liked you'd get at most places, great flavor (I like to get mine with a side of the cream sauce which is similar to queso) The carnitas: HUGE portion, well seasoned and juicy Burritos: they're gigantic Bean dip: this automatically comes to the table with warm chips. It's thick, well seasoned and has a little spice. It's the same dip that comes on the plate with rice. The margaritas: I prefer mine in the rocks with no salt. You don't need more than 2 cuz those babies will sneak up on you You'll always leave with leftovers. Come before dark to avoid the line for parking, the line gets long because the lot is small so you may be waiting a bit for parking. If you're not alone, go get your name on the list first while waiting for parking. If you want to avoid waiting or issues with parking go closer to closing. It will be quiet and quick. Tell em large Marge sent ya lol

What a great way to spend my rainy day. Came here for dinner to celebrate my cousins birthday & the food did not disappoint. The bean dip & fresh tortilla chips are an automatic A+. Has a little kick too that I enjoyed. I ordered a raspberry frozen margarita & it was amazing. Strong enough but the tequila wasn't overwhelming & it tasted good as well. I finished it faster than I thought I would. For food I ordered one of the combo plates. It was 2 beef flautas, 2 chicken cream enchiladas, rice, beans & guacamole. Delicious & HUGE portions. I had plenty left over since I had so many chips with bean dip lol I love the inside, I also appreciate the dim lighting. It really suits the indoor space. There's also a patio area to sit that's really nicely lit & cozy. Service was great, my server was always checking on our group. Oh & the dessert was amazing! They brought a churro fried ice cream that was soo goood! I can't wait to get some again

Just when we thought we had found the best Mexican food around, we found Salsa & Beer! Now we have officially found the best Mexican food around. The parking lot is a bit tough to maneuver in and out of due to small spaces and a narrow exit, but there is street parking as well. We were greeted and seated quickly to a spacious booth in the back. Our waitress was friendly and arrived with bean dip and chips. There is a salsa bar with a variety of salsas that range from mild to very spicy, all fresh and delicious. We love a good jalapeño margarita and these were top notch and so very delicious! We already want another one. Our lunch was fresh, very flavorful and the serving was more than enough and left us with plenty to take home. We have found our new favorite place to enjoy lunch and highly recommend Salsa & Beer for your next meal! Cheers!

Still DELICIOUS! Best fluffy tasty Mexican rice Great salsa bar Bomb bean dip Order the OLLITA drink, henchata also good Beef taquitos and fajitas always a solid choice Off menu item California Burrito always hits!

I work down the street from here, and I usually visit once a month because coming weekly might break my bank, as it's kinda pricey. Today, I ordered my favorite, a Spicy Green Burrito with chicken to go, and as always, it was delicious. They're always busy, so I recommend calling in your order, and parking can be tough too. The ambiance is always great, with dim lights and good music. The portions here are always large and well worth the price. Your to-go order comes with chips and bean dip, and they also have a salsa bar for your convenience. My lunch cost me $28 with tip. I will be back again next month.

And of course, you're welcome to bring your own game as well. We got there a bit after opening so we were able to get one of the multi seater tables. When we left at 3PM, the place was packed! The bar seats were all taken and the outside seating was pretty filled too. So be sure to get here early if you're looking for a table. Got an order of the chicken tenders and sweet potato tots. The chicken tenders was alright. But the sweet potato tots were delicious! We also ordered drinks. The food didn't take long and the staff was friendly. Parking is strictly street parking. I ordered at the bar like always, and the bartender took my order and then walked towards the kitchen. Now I know they usually give you your drink right then and there, but they were busy and I assumed he was going to take care of something else first, which is completely fine! What I didn't expect was this other bartender, who was on the complete other side of the bar and didn't communicate me with at all, was actually filling my drink. I didn't realize that, because he didn't tell me, so I turned to walk back to my table. This rude bartender thought I was abandoning my drink or something, and used his big boy voice to yell "YOUR DRINK!" so loudly that everyone at the bar stopped to stare at me, and some were laughing. Now I didn't know that intentionally embarrassing your patrons is how you guys do business, but ok, whatever makes you feel important I guess... The original bartender who took my order came by and checked and on our table later in the night, and he asked us something that neither my friend or I could hear, so I said "I'm sorry, what?" and he rolled his eyes and walked away. Alternatively, a few months ago, my husband and his friend came here and they received the complete opposite treatment - free drinks, conversations with the bartenders, and were welcomed. I never come into a restaurant/bar, especially a small business, expecting anything for free, that isn't my point at all. I do however expect basic manners and respect. Based on our very different experiences recently, there does seem to be a hint of misogyny going on here. This place used to be cool and friendly, and food has always been great, but the men who work here completely ruin it. It's really disappointing.

Wait for your food to arrive and enjoy! Don't forget the beers! For food, our go to is always their pizza (check out the cheese pull in my photos) and fougasse. Our kids love the pizza and plain curly fries. Chicken wings and their Caesar salad is good too! We miss the panna cotta they used to have. They were delicious! The cookies are a good substitute for that sweet craving after a meal. Parking can be difficult and stressful at times to find a spot. You'll have to drive around to find one. They have parking in front of the brewery, but it's VERY limited. We Uber with friends and family sometimes to avoid the stress of finding parking. Staff is always kind and always there to make suggestions on the beers they serve. Don't forget to take a photo in their photo booth before you leave! For $7, you'll be able to take 3 photos and the machine will print two copies for you. Awesome souvenir that you and your partner will be able to take one home!

Lovely neighborhood brewery! The pizza is delicious and I love their Van Ice beer as well as the…read morerotating selection they have. The cheese fries were pretty small but tasted great. They allow dogs (we sat outside with ours). They are also open to all ages. They have events on different days of the week so definitely follow them on instagram if you live in the area.
