Remarkable ambiance that adds to the dining experience. Perfect for date night, initiate dining, and family style eating. Amor A Mi is almost a hole in the wall for its delicious chilaquiles and Mexican brunch. I loved their matcha and coffee varieties, I'll have to come back to try the rest of their drink menu. I got the French toast and the brioche was exquisite! The strawberries and mascarpone were perfect touches to the meal. The staff were kind and just lovely. Highly recommend !

My husband and I found this place on a random hunch and we absolutely loved it! The aguachile was exquisitely presented and delicious! The tacos were amazing and the flavors were inventive. The tortillas were handmade and that's not as common anymore. The atmosphere was so quaint and warm, we cannot wait to try the brunch! The staff was very friendly & welcoming and our server, Paulina, was hospitable and lovely. I would highly recommend this little gem. Buen Provecho!

Ambience- perfect! It's so lovely here. It's such a warm and inviting space if you want to bring a friend or friends while yet still being peaceful enough to come by yourself and enjoy a quiet rose latte! I've had their rose latte a bunch. It's very good. I highly recommend it. I also had the tortitas de papa. I've never had this dish before but like the description and it was delicious. I'd get it again. Service was friendly and familial but in a familial-professional way. This is a gem of a find and I look forward to spending more of my money here.

I want to start this review off by saying that the food tasted great. No issues there. The inside was also very nice. I loved the vibe. However, there were a few things that outshined the taste of the food. To start, our food was COLD. We had already waited about 20ish minutes. Honestly can't recall but enough time had passed by and we were just hungry. We drove in for business from the IE and had other things to do so we couldn't wait to have it be remade. But from the tortilla, the meat, and the beans it was cold. The only thing hot was the egg on top and so that makes me wonder how fresh everything was. Oh and the description of the plate says it comes with beans but tbh it's just a smear under everything. We ate what we could until the entire plate was too cold to enjoy. The agua de Jamaica was intense. I had to add water to balance out how strong it was. But once I added more water it was nice. What's funny about my Jamaica is that when I was served it our server literally said "here" and handed it to me. Which was funny to us because that's never happened to us anywhere. Usually you get a kinder approach like "here is that Jamaica" not just "here". And with that, the service was mediocre. It wasn't genuine or authentic. Which is kind of sad given the prices of the food and how upscale it is. You kind of expect a more authentic and overall amicable experience. But it wasn't. I felt like a person there to give them my money which is true but I never felt like a welcomed customer. A one time of visit for us for sure.

Not worth the 30 min wait to get our food. Decent breakfast sandwich & okay French toast. My family really liked their rib eye and barbacoa tacos but I would not come back again; their menu is super limited & service takes too long even when they're not busy. Overhyped in my opinion.

This beautiful restaurant is a gem! The decor is fabulous. There is so much attention to detail. Great for any occasion, but I came for breakfast. The staff was accommodating and very helpful. We had the chicken Chilaquiles and the steak and barbacoa tacos. Both were fabulous! I can't wait to come back and try different dishes. The parking is street parking.

I love it here! I stumbled upon this place, because I was in the area this morning and was looking for a cute breakfast spot. I found it on Yelp (of course) and so glad I gave it a try based on pictures and reviews. It's super cute and authentic in here. The staff is friendly and attentive and the food is delicious! Their attention to details is spot on. The dishes, music and decor are all from different regions of Mexico and I completely appreciate it. My family is from Belize right next door to Mexico so I love all the details. The chilaquiles were delicious and the Mexican Matcha was even better in the Oaxacan mug. I will definitely be bringing the family back.

What a cozy and delicious meal! Came here for brunch on a Sunday. Everything was top tier from the latte to the french toast to the chilaquiles! Highly recommend both but if you're feeling something sweet go for the french toast and if you want savory go for the chilaquiles. The were perfectly crispy! Would absolutely recommend this place for a date, for a brunch with the girlies, you name it! There is a bar, some tables inside and two tables outside. Pro tip: this place gets hella busy but they do reservations - yay! So make sure to get one for the weekend! Parking was easy as I parked in one of the neighborhood streets nearby. It was two hour parking.

We came Amor A Mi in Burbank for breakfast/brunch after finding it on yelp. The restaurant had recently opened, not too long ago. Right when you walk in theres this amazing aroma in the entrance you cant help but take notice. When I asked what it was, one of the waiters told me that they use a specific scent in the entrance area and almost always customers compliment them on it. The restaurant itself is very cute, aesthetically very Tulum. I was pleasantly surprised by how good the food was, especially the ceviche. It tasted like authentic Mexican ceviche. I loved it so much I ordered another one to go. Only sad part was for the to go order they had forgotten to include the tortilla chips. The service was great and the food was delicious! Id love to go back for dinner to try their dinner menu!

This was a great experience for comfort mexican food with modern twist! Service was excellent, kind friendly staff, and beautiful modern yet comfortable warm ambiance. Tacos: Huitlacoche - the kernels were good but mixed in with sweet corn was too sweet. I tasted more sweet corn than mushroom or huitlacoche, beans were good! Not spicy, could use a spicy salsa Chicharrón - excellent Shrimp - fresh, but too much cream sauce! The taco fell apart, more fresh condiments like cilantro and onions would have been nice vs so much sauce Barbacoa - it was good, but needed lemon, cilantro and onions! Birria especially goat or lamb is best served with fresh squeezed lemon and fresh condiments on the side for the palette's desire. Salsas and chips - fresh chips! Green salsa was good, red salsa had a flavor we couldn't pinpoint, canned chipotle maybe? Not our favorite. Tlayuda - not traditional, but the crunchy cheese layer was fun! We enjoyed it and would order one more for the table next time. Excellent and fresh Homemade Flour tortilla - yum! Homemade Corn Tortilla - a little dry, not too flavorful. Hopes for the future: I wish there could be a green salad, fish option, or other unique veggie sides like nopales, verdolagas, or mushrooms en chile that Mexican cuisine has to offer! Either way looking forward to trying lunch menu

Such a cute spot, the chilaquiles are delicious. I highly recommend a coffee date as the atmosphere is perfect. The service was quick and efficient.

Once again I saw this restaurant on my socials and I definitely had to stop in and try it for myself. I was not disappointed whatsoever. I was greeted with smile and a warm welcome. Very refreshing these days. The restaurant is very clean from the dining room to the restrooms.. The staff was so kind ,accommodating and very attentive. The variety of food is nice. The service was quick. The food was served at the right temperature. Everything ordered tasted fresh and delicious. I had a great experience overall. The pricing and the portions are reasonable. I will definitely come back again.

Mexican matcha (oat milk and palo santo) Light taste and refreshing Chilaquiles with green sauce delicious. We set outside. Even with the cars driving by it was very pleasant and relaxing. Friendly and relaxed service. No rush.

Completely different menu. Food was beyond sub par you can make the food at home and would taste better! Save your money. Everything we had from two orders of "taquitos", "esquite", quesadillas and a blood orange mojito. The only thing with a bit of flavor was the esquite, but again to pay for roasted corn on the cob with just mayo and cheese? For $13 ? NEVER AGAIN. I have a problem with the way they name their items which is a bit misleading. For example, they have an item called taquitos, meaning you would expect a rolled fried taquitos. What came was tacos dorados so why is it named taquitos? They DID write on the menu that it's fried tacos..but again why are they not just calling it TACOS DORADOS? Same with esquite typically esquites are corn off the cob but this was on the COBB and yes it was described on the menu as on the Cobb but again why not call it ELOTE instead of esquite. Clearly this is semantics but just frustrating. If you want authentic Mexican food there is a Don Cuco's around the block that is WAY better than this place. They are at a different tier than this Kalavera's location. If you're a drinker perhaps that would make the food taste better...so disappointed and a waste of money!

Think about it: they're running the entire operation behind the scenes- servers, inventory, scheduling, front of house, kitchen area, customers, and putting up with all the nonsense in between, and I know there's a lot of *that* as a former restaurant worker myself! That's why Allison at Finney's is so kick-ass. She runs Finney's flawlessly. I'm a big foodie and hit up lots of different restaurants around LA, and Finney's in Burbank has definitely become my go-to spot. Allison does such a great job of providing a great customer experience from the moment I walk in to paying my tab. It's not just her welcoming demeanor, but it's also the same positive energy I see in the staff when she's running things. It's nice to know there are still places that care about a great customer experience and making you and your friends right at home, especially when you're celebrating with some of your closest friends and creating perhaps some of your final memories of LA.

First, their cafe de olla is absolutely delicious. This remains one of the only places where I genuinely enjoy ordering cafe de olla. Second, their food is incredible. They serve excellent portions, everything tastes fresh, and the food is just so good. I've had their taquitos and chilaquiles, and both were delicious. The only downside is that every time I've come, there has usually been a bit of a wait, especially because the restaurant itself is pretty small with limited seating. The inside is cute, but small, so we usually end up sitting outside. This is where their Monrovia location does have the advantage because it has much more space. Parking can also be tricky. Good luck finding a spot close enough where you don't have to walk far. We usually end up parking in the residential area around the corner. That said, the staff are wonderful and always try to be as accommodating as possible despite how busy they are. Highly recommend this place if you're okay with possibly waiting a bit for seating. My friend and I went into this Cafe De Olla on the 17th of this month at 2pm. She met me there and lives in Burbank. I have been here once, I believe back in 2018. It was pretty solid in every way. We were warmly greeted by Erick--the host, standing by the podium and right away he got us a seat inside. After like 5 minutes, Elsa, our server approached us to take our order. My friend and I both felt like we were being rushed through our meal. Food came out hot and quick. We opted for a few of their dishes. Tacos Mananeros, came with 4 tacos ($18.95), with 4 complimentary sauces. 2 of the sauces were very spicy and Elsa didn't warn us. We also got the Veggie Omelette with tomatoes, onions, spinach, mushrooms, Jack cheese, topped with avocado and a side order of hash browns. They made the hash browns perfectly. Told her nice and crispy on the top and that's what we got. (18.95). We also shared their French Toast topped with Strawberry, Blueberries, and Blackberries. ($16.95) topped with lots of Whipped Cream (which I love) and a side of syrup. We needed to add more syrup to make the French Toast more moist. The French Toast was a bit dry for our liking. Even the people sitting next to us who ordered the same thing were saying the same. On the flip side, the other 2 dishes tasted fresh and delicious. Great portions for the prices. We also got this drink called Powerful from their smoothies section of the menu. It was called Green Smoothie. Ingredients were the following: blueberries, honey, Greek Vanilla yogurt, avocado and Almond milk. It was simply very refreshing and delicious. My friend wanted some sort of Latte, Espresso, Americano, etc..but they didn't have any of those drinks. All they had was regular & decaf coffee. At first, I asked for Cranberry juice, and Jose, said they only had Apple and Orange juice. We found it a bit odd not to have any of those drinks. Going back to our server Elsa, she was a bit aloof and forgetful. I asked for a bowl of fruit, and it never made it to our table. After we were done eating, I asked for two to-go boxes and a bag, she forgot that too. We had to ask the other employees to get them for us. The same with to-go containers for our sauces. She forgot to bring napkins too. Jose, (our busboy), needs a raise and promotion! This young man read all the ingredients on the Taco menu which came with: bacon & egg, chorizo with potato & eggs, machaka/eggs, & nopaitos/eggs. The writing in their menu was very small. Another server by the name of Angel, truly was an angel. Checked on us while Elsa was taking orders over the phone. They have another location in Monrovia, a gender neutral restroom, place was very clean. Inside was small. It had 10 tables and nice couches with cozy, inspirational decor and pillows. Lovely music playing over head with a nice patio seating. Will I return? Yes, but not anytime soon! Also check for their business hours..
