Suggested this spot when I was hanging out with a few friends and the staff was top notch. The margaritas were good but the food was great all around. It was my first time having the fancy corn on the cob which was a meal by itself. I had tacos and they were neatly made and had a good meat toppings ratio. Had to repeat my order 3 times (it was completely quiet on my end) when i went to pick up my order and proceeded to check everything was right i noticed my daughters food was messed up. i asked them to fix it and told them what i wanted exactly. and they proceeded to bring me the wrong order 4 times. the manager on shift proceeded to tell me "next time make sure you order exactly what you are looking for" i corrected him and explained to him that i did make sure if the reception would focus more on the orders and asking questions instead of fixing her makeup and flipping her hair around. maybe she would've heard me the first 6 times i told her what i wanted. read more

-10/10 experience. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with my visit. The food was extremely oily, & the meat I ordered was overcooked. On top of that, the service was not very friendly or courteous. The server seemed rushed throughout the entire interaction & did not pay much attention to my order. I had lunch here with my mom, and I have to say that we had a great time! The service was outstanding! Our server was attentive and answered every single question we had about the menu. We ordered a cheese dip to start and you can never go wrong with a cheese dip at a Mexican restaurant. I ordered the enchiladas and the rich dark sauce is so flavorful. The enchilada plate was served with black beans and 3 different fillings (cheese, beef, chicken). The salsa is very boring, tomato's were chunky and missing cilantro. The margarita was decent. Large and shaken well but I did not like how it finished sweet. Service was friendly and very engaging. Im so sad because i love the food here so much!! My service today was so terrible. I requested extra chips over the phone and when I arrived they refused to give me them? I ordered two meals and received one bag of chips and two salsas. I asked nicely if I could have another bag since I only got one that was only half filled after both ordering two meals and requesting them. He told me no and that was extra because I only receive one. I have ordered form her MANY MANY times and always receive one per meal??? 3/10/23-My best friend came through to visit family and friends and we made plans to have dinner. After going through ideas we decided on this restaurant. The parking lot was super packed but i believe it's because they share a parking lot with a couple other places. We had reservations so we were seated rather quickly. Our server was very friendly, attentive and on point with everything. He made sure we had everything we needed and checked on us often. We had a party of 6 so we all ordered different items and there were no complaints on how good the food was. My son wanted to come back the next day lol. The reason I didn't give 5 stars was because parking was not the best and it was cold inside the restaurant, which could be where we were seated. I ordered the build your own combo, chicken enchilada, ground beef enchilada, ground beef chili relleno. I did find the chicken to be tough and the enchilada sauce was oddly sweet. Not bad, but I've never had a sweet songs on a meat enchilada before. I asked for and received some lettuce on the side, since it does not come with the dish. I ordered delivery recently and I was very happy. They deliver Humongous portions, delicious Mexican cuisine and the best salsa and pico de Gallo. Since relocating to Raleigh the mexican food has been very well prepared and true to authenticity. The carnitas was very good and the tortillas chips and salsa were perfecto ! My boyfriend and I are frequent customers to this location. We always get the same thing every time we come ACP TRIO plus the occasional drink. I've worked in food service and I know it's hard when places are understaffed but the experience we had tonight was not one to rave about. Tonight we got seated literally in the kitchen.. We were seated right next to the sanitizer and the kitchen door. The table placement was an afterthought. I had to move the table over so I felt somewhat okay being seated where we were. You feel very secluded and the atmospheric vibe was completely gone when we got seated. It was a good 10 minute wait until we were asked what we wanted to drink and of course we ordered right away. When the food came out our tortillas were missing and they had messed up the order. We couldn't find our waitress to tell her about the missing items.. so we started to eat the food and it was below subpar from what we are used to. The quality and portions were not what they usually are. After another 10 minutes of waiting for our waitress we told her what was missing and when she brought out the rest of the food she seemed inconvenienced that we literally were waiting to eat our meal before we got the rest of it.. so by then it was cold. My boyfriend couldn't eat half of his because it was burnt, dry, cold, chewy, and the queso looked like it was a solid piece of cheese again. When we talked to the waitress she didn't seem to say sorry or anything when we asked if they had gotten new cooks or anything because again it was very different from all the other times we have been there before. She just mentioned they were understaffed. I was extremely disappointed and I always recommend this place to people but after tonight I don't think we will be returning for a while. One thing that's a little annoying is when you ask for another minute and then they disappear for about 5 minutes never bothering to check to see if you're sitting there with the menu closed and waiting. I could understand if it were a full restaurant, but it looked like ours was the only table he had. I leaned more toward an overall 4 rating because he could have been new since the other server seemed to be doing a good job. The ACP was good, but the cheese wasn't really all melted like other places. It's like they drizzled on the shredded cheese in hopes it would melt by the time it arrived. Also, the menu show it comes with onions and poblano peppers, so if you don't like that mix, need to make sure you ask. Their salsa is pretty good as well with a slight sweet taste to it. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS TO ANYONE! We arrive and our waiter is more nonverbal than actually verbal. We ask for a guacamole & they brought us what looked like a gooey green substance. We tried it and it tasted worse than any expired store bought container guac. We asked the waiter if we were able to swap it with some queso and we didn't like the guac (keep in mind the guac is still 95% intact as when they brought it to us). Once again he says nothing and just takes it and I see him speak with a person at the bar about it, and they start shaking they're heads and obviously looking upset and made a hand motion that I had already picked at it (even though it was just one chip). They ended up bringing me the queso dip. Now to the food we ordered which were the basic ACPs. The food tasted nothing authentic to Mexican food. The vegetables out tasted the meat and rice. We decided to just eat it and try to finish quickly to get out of there. Now with the atmosphere; the lighting was like you were in a store with all the bright lighting and music was some sort of old English music to start off with. All the other waiters also just didn't have the welcoming vibe with any of the other tables nearby that I was able to see. Oh yeah, then they charge my half sweet tea and half lemonade drink as an agua fresca, which if you know, you know the aguas frescas are about double the price of a regular fountain drink or tea. After I brought it to the waiters attention he replied with "it would've been about the same price anyways" and didn't change it. I've gone back and am still impressed. They updated the menu look since last time and continuing to update the decor. Its quite a nice trendy/cultural atmosphere. Tonight we had carnitas enchilada and the el regio burrito. Both dishes had unique flavors you can't get at just any Mexican restaurant. The carnitas enchilada was covered in green sauce and had a hint of sweet with crunchy grilled onions, possibly some cinnamon in there. We were very disappointed in the food here last night. Most of the food did not taste good. The enchiladas were rubbery and many of the fajita items were served cold. The chicken was dry and had a strange tasting seasoning. We had to re-order the enchaladas, this time without the mole sauce, which tasted bad. Service was polite but could have been more friendly. The guacamole was the best part ( a low bar). Queso was only available with jalapenos, which made it too hot for us. The decor is nice, yet servers who were not busy mingled in the dining area which was distracting, along with loud music. It's been a long time since we've been here (don't know why), but Husband was craving Mexican, so this fit the bill nicely. Especially considering it was $5 Margarita night (Saturday), and that included even the premium ones! So, each of us got a Blood Orange one and they were very refreshing and delicious. Not too sweet. Made me want something spicy to go with it. Chips & Salsa, by the way were quite good. Warm salty chips, salsa with a slight kick, onion for tang and texture and fresh cilantro. The menu has changed again since the last time we'd been, with many great-sounding things to try, but some special burritos were calling out to each of us. I don't remember the names of them (and I couldn't find the menus on their website). Restaurants should really have full menus on their websites in this day and age, imho! Anyway, Husband's was full of beans, rice, bacon, and guacamole, topped with cheese, a tomatillo sauce and skirt steak. Served with a choice of salad or sweet potato fries. He chose the salad, which was pretty much just shredded lettuce, with a few small strips of colored tortillas. (no dressing). Salsa made for a perfectly respectable dressing. I chose a Burrito that was full of rice, beans, and chicken, topped with a spicy cream sauce and big beautiful shrimp. I only made it through half of mine, but it was delicious, and Husband loved his...ALL of it...hah! (of course, he had done two hours at the gym to the only one I had done). Impromptu visit while shopping. We were seated immediately and had great service. The atmosphere is very relaxed, vibrant, and fun. The menu wasn't overwhelming and had a good amount of options. You get chips and salsa to snack on, which the salsa flavor was good but the amount was skimp. We ordered the Baja fish tacos and spicy steak tacos. The amount of steak inside the tacos was super inconsistent and the fish tacos were bland and missing some extra oomph. The food was unsatisfying but the service was very satisfying. Freshest guac I have ever had in North Carolina. I have been here a total of four times. And each time I have a great experience. The first time was when my friends and I were getting a drink after work and the bartender was so great and funny. He even gave us Coronitas (which good ones are really hard to find nowadays). If you go, I would definitely recommend getting the guac because they have a cart and make it fresh in front of you. The ACP is also the best I have had. This ACP added peppers and I think mushrooms along with the normal chicken and cheese on rice. This past time, I ordered some type of fried doll with shredded chick inside. It wasn't the best, but pretty cool design. I think it was called the lachuga. I would have ordered the ACP instead. The food is good, however service is a little slow. The food is slow coming out even if you feel like you are the only ones in there. It is definitely worth a visit though, and remember to get the Guac. read more

First time visiting this establishment to which I found the ambience very pleasing. The booths are extra wide for comfortable seating, they have a large bar for drinks. The menu provided a wide variety of selections as well as a good size cocktail list. They provide the traditional chips and salsa. I ordered the fajitas which I found the chicken be average in taste and did not come standard with shredded cheese or rice. I asked for a small bowl of shredded cheese which they charged me an additional 1.50 for which I found to be ridiculous. Nothing really stands out with this restaurant in terms of overall experience, if you prefer cheese with your fajitas I recommend bringing your own bag. read more
