Food was very mid, we had the tacos. My favorite was the al pastor or the asada. The tortillas looked homemade but they did fall apart a little bit. The chips and salsa was great though!! My favorite part of the meal to be honest. Now on to the service, it was very fast but there was no joy in our servers eyes. The drinks were amazing I had a hibiscus water, it was so good and my husband had two craft beers. Underwhelming all the way around. I had a fish taco and an al pastor taco, and the ingredients in both were lackluster. The al pastor was salty but lacked the signature flavor that makes it al pastor. The tortillas, which are apparently made in-house daily, were cold and crumbly. I got a side of slaw and it was completely flavorless--just tasted like wet cabbage. The parking lot has plenty of room to park is clean, and is level. Upon entering you wait to be seated. It is well lit, clean and organized. It was packed so a little hard to hear. We were seated with our fellow Yelpers! Always an honor and a privilege. There was an order of chips, salsa, queso and guacamole at our table. The chips were good, salsa had a smokey flavor, with a little spicy kick to it, yum. The queso was a good cheese flavor and texture with just enough spice. The guacamole was bland, needed some garlic, onion powder, and some salt. My husband drank an IPA bear, good smelled, nothing distinctive about it, was a good beer. I ordered iced tea, it was good, the waitress didn't bring me any sweetener until the refill. We ordered carne asada tacos, the corn tortillas just right, the marinated steak was tasty and the meat light. It came with a salsa and a tomateo salsa, both were very flavorful. I went in search of the bathrooms, they provide a men's, family and women's. All three are kept clean, and all handicap accessible. We had an enjoyable visiting our fellow Yelpers! We hit this spot up after a hot day in the sun watching my godson play soccer. The margarita I had was refreshing and delicious. My fiancé had a watermelon agua fresca cocktail and she really enjoyed it. As a matter of fact she ended up having a second one. I didn't get a chance to try the food but what I saw going out looked appetizing. It was a bit crowded the day we went and there was about a 15 minute wait but they have stools and sitting area for you to wait inside. Stopped here while road tripping. It was our first time in New Mexico and the southwest so we wanted to try some good southwest cuisine. I don't think we could have chosen a better place! The restaurant was clean and spacious. It got crowded pretty quickly, but it was not cluttered, cramped, or loud. There was plenty of space between tables so you didn't feel like you were knocking elbows with other guests. The staff were responsive, helpful, and very nice. The food and drinks were phenomenal. I got the El Tri cocktail, which is probably one of my top five favorite cocktails I've ever had. We got the mini quesadillas and the chips and guacamole as appetizers. The guacamole was clearly made fresh in house and it was so delicious! And the mini quesadillas were out of this world. The cheese was so gooey and the flavor was impeccable. For my main course, I got Chef Javi's Delicious Salad, which was just that - delicious! The ingredients were all fresh and the dressing was amazing. Mexican and southwest cuisine isn't typically what I go for, but La Reforma makes me want to eat there every day. I think one of my favorite things is that you can get any of their cocktails in crowlers to go! You better believe I brought the El Tri with me. I wish more distilleries did that, it's a genius idea! We also purchased a bottle of rum and a crowler of beer. The only thing that makes me sad is I'm not going to be able to have any of this back home. Facebook foodies and one of my friends recommended it and so I had to try it. I had the carne asada fries and boy were they delicious. This plate is definitely for two people or you can share it with a third person as an appetizer. They have their own crafted cocktails and I ordered the Reforma Rita. I enjoyed it so much that I had to share, so I purchased a growler to take to one of my friends. I sat at the bar and had quick service. I really do enjoy La Reforma, everything from the ever-changing Aqua Fresca to the great food options is super worth the drive across town. This time the Aqua Fresca was guava with chamoy on the rim, amazing. I don't always love guava but this one was super refreshing. I then ordered the carne fries which were very generous regarding proportions and toppings, made great leftovers. I have always enjoyed the food but I'm gonna be honest, usually my motivator to come in the dessert. Emma, the charming and helpful waitress, recommended the excellent CARNE ASADA tacos and the CDMX QUESADILLAS, Six Mexico City-style mini-quesadillas with salsas for dipping. Paired with MAXIMILIAN a Mexican dark lagers were originally based on the Munich (my hometown) Dunkel. They take this popular style back to its roots! 5.5% ABV. I also used the beer as a chaser for the amazing house tequila, or "AGAVE SPIRIT - BLANCO." Pure blue agave is used, giving it "a smooth and slightly sweet finish." The advertising is exactly correct! I've been regretting not buying a $35.00 bottle, and I'm not even a tequila drinker. I will return. An extra 6th star goes to the kitchen: Tacos arrived with Only One Homemade Corn tortilla, a Pet Peeve. I asked them to use 2 tortillas. NO PROBLEMO! Music and atmosphere was terrific. read more

Wow this place blew me away when I was visiting Albuquerque. I really wanted some pozole and found this brewery in my search for the stew. I walked in and placed my to go order at the bar because I was too tired and wanted to eat at my hotel. The bar had lots of beer options that looked really good and there was plenty of seating both bar side and at tables throughout the brewery. I only had to wait about ten minutes for my order to be ready. I ordered a cup of pozole and an Al Pastor burrito. The way that the staff packaged my order was the best I have ever seen! Everything was secured in a cardboard box with plenty of napkins and everything I needed to go with my meal. The pozole came with fresh tortilla chips that were so tasty. The stew itself was full of super tender pork and packed with flavor. The burrito was equally delicious and the sauce was great on it. I had such a great meal from here! read more

Decided to stop here as I have heard great things about the place. I had been here in the past but that was years ago. Seems every is enjoying the food, so that is a plus. I have had posole at many locations and for a bowl this would be a cup. You do get a small amount of cut cabbage and cilantro. The posole does have good taste, but $8.50 for a small bowl? If this is a bowl I would hate to see how small the cup of posole is. Hmmm... maybe since it is a brewery the food takes a back stage. Turbia IPA is smooth, not over hoppy. Great taste I would get this every time. Fries were good and you get chips with your order. I would say the atmosphere is good as there is music and a few TVs. For an appetizer we had chips and salsa con queso and I was very happy with the amount of dips provided for chips as well as the flavors. It shouldn't be this hard to find true Elote in a state called New Mexico, but here I am over the moon that someone made REAL ELOTE OMG. If you are looking for somewhere safe to go in a Pandemic that is worth leaving the house for - I highly recommend La Reforma. Not only do they have a full tent area set up outside (and with real furniture, not just some rented plastic chairs, they went all out and it is SO NICE) but their staff is so conscious, friendly, and dedicated to making sure everyone is receiving the best service. Everything on this menu is good. I personally am a huge fan of the Carne Asada on everything and anything. But you really can't go wrong.
