    Quail

The quail was really good - tender and juicy for such lean meat. The lamb was a tad gamey for my taste, but my boyfriend enjoyed it. We both really liked the poached pear with bleu cheese. Service was ok; we had two people checking in on us but asked us the same questions. The restaurant has three separate dining rooms, all of which are on the smaller side.

Restaurant Week 2025 Review 1/many. I went back to this spot with a group recently for French Restaurant Week (which I will be shortening to RW from now on) which ran from July 7th to the 20th with both restaurants also being part of the current RW which is $60 for dinner. I had previously been to their UWS location for RW last year which was excellent and it was very similar this time though the portions have shrunk a little bit such as the foie gras but that's expected unfortunately so c'est la vie. The staff was friendly and helpful. I had a glass of white chardonnay which was good and was a pretty generous pour. They gave us some bread at the beginning which was nice and crunchy though I wish it was a bit warmer along with some olive oil with some balsamic vinegar in it. I started with the Foie Gras au Torchon served with toast as well as apple and grape confits. As described earlier, the portion has shrunk a bit with there now being one larger piece instead of two medium sized ones. The apple confit was my preference of the pairing with the texture being quite nice while the grape one was slightly too sweet. Many others had the Escargots à la Bourguignonne; which they had difficulty using the provided instruments; the Watermelon Salad, and the French Onion Soup. Having had the Filet de Bœuf Poêlé on the previous menu, I went with the Seared Hanger Steak au Poivre listed as prepared for the occasion with peppercorn brandy sauce. The steak was cooked a proper medium rare with a bit of chewiness as expected for hanger steak but not too much with plenty of flavor. The peppercorn sauce wasn't as pronounced as some other places but I honestly didn't mind this as it still had plenty of flavor with some of the zing from said black peppercorn. Outside of some greens, there was also some potato pavé on the side which was prepared nicely. On a side note, another person to not be named ordered this dish a bit past medium and it didn't come out that way. Another had what I got, two had the Filet de Bœuf Poêlé which they enjoyed and two had the Braised Rabbit Dijonnaise which they liked. The entrees all came served with fresh vegetables on the side consisting of a few pieces of roasted cucumber, squash, and chayote along with a pumpkin puree just like the other location as a portionfor two to share. All seven of us for dessert went wit the Croquant au Caramel listed as a puff pastry stuffed with vanilla Grand Marnier custard and topped with caramel. The dessert was well made with a good pastry crust and even with the amount of caramel, it wasn't super sweet. This was small but tasty and a satisfying end to a good meal. It is always nice seeing a place that doesn't seem to skimp out even if people are ordering on the RW menu. While I preferred the regular dinner options, this is an excellent way to try this restaurant especially if the general price points here are a bit too high. Same rating essentially.

Fish or seafood of the day (it was Brazino when we went)

So we checked out this French spot for restaurant week. It's a really cute spot and had some really great options on their restaurant week menu. We ordered the: Appetizers: Ravioles de Royan au Comte Foie Gras Torchon Escargot Bourguignonne Entrees: Rable de Lapin Braise Seared Hanger Steak Fish or seafood of the day (it was Brazino when we went) They have 2 locations. Only the Soho location did restaurant week lunch.

Delicious French food. Simply delicious. I like to splurge on good food when I'm in New York. Italian restaurants yes, but I find good French restaurants far and few. The pate appetizer was really good (fuller than a Vietnamese pate). The side mustard and pickled veggies added to the flavor. The star: steak with fries gras on top, was killer. Rich savory duck on top of a good steak with truffles on top. Yum. 5/5 would recommend.

We were looking for a small, intimate and charming place with good food for our anniversary and a Redditor recommended this place. It was fantastic! The wine and cocktail list is nice, beer drinkers will find just 2 options. The complimentary bread is served with EVOO and house-made balsamic. We started with beef tartare and pears with bleu cheese. Both were delicious. Entrees were duck in a cherry jus, accompanied by a plate of 4 vegetable selections. It was tender and perfectly cooked. The gnocchi Parisienne are actually cauliflower based and incredibly light and fluffy. The Gruyère and béchamel sauce is decadent. Servers were sweet and attentive. The menu says the only accept cash or Amex- but the DO take Visa. A really nice meal and well worth a visit if in SoHo.

Came here for the Restaurant Week deal to try out this place..Dining room is very small but I saw another room so they must have more than one dining. Place was empty except for one other couple but then after 7pm it started filling up. Service was very good and food was good as well but portions were very small. Some restaurant don't give full size portions for the RW meals and not sure if this was the case.

Was part of a party of 7 during French Restaurant Week. We all chose the $60 prix fix menu. I chose the escargot a la bourguignonne appetizer, the braised rabbit dijonnaise as my main course, and everyone in my party picked the croquant au caramel dessert. I also paired a Cabernet Savignon with my meal. Everything was a 10 out of 10. Service was good. Everything was brought out timely, not too quickly or too slow.

Food: 2/2 Service: 0.5/1 Atmosphere: 1/1 Value: 0.5/1 Total: 4/5 TLDR: solid standard French cuisine in a great neighborhood location. We ordered the seafood linguine, beef tongue and salmon. We were with my in laws who aren't the most adventurous, otherwise we would've also considered the escargot or tartare! Everyone was very happy with what they got, including the excellent complimentary bread and butter. Knocked a little bit off for service since half our table was missing cutlery in the beginning, but the wait staff was nice and attentive otherwise. We enjoyed the atmosphere and the classic French bistro decor inside. The space isn't huge, but we didn't feel squished. Also knocked a bit off on value, but I don't think it's much higher than other French places in the neighborhood.

Absolutely ADORED this place! Came with my parents for my birthday. We brought our own bottle of wine, as this restaurant has BYOB and bottles for purchase options. We enjoyed the Filet au Poivre et Cognac (pictured) and the Truffle Gnocchi. The filet came with the gorgeous vegetables pictured next to the dish. The service was incredibly accommodating and friendly, and the vibe was upscale and cozy at the same time. A great choice for dinner with the parents or a special occasion. Love!

**HEADS UP** If you do not have AMEX, Bitcoin, please bring cash to pay. That being said, came here for dinner with my best friend. We just wanted to catch up with each other over life stuff. Food: 5* Mussels Creoles: THE SAUCE IS THE BEST!!! PART OF IT. We requested extra bread to sop up the remaining sauce on the dish. Hanger steak: Tender and robust in flavor, don't recall the sliced potato dish on my plate was called. Had a bit of the foie gras from my friend, it was not for us. Also, we had veggies served with us but we were unsure if it was part of my meal or my best friend's. The puree was DELICIOUS, the other items were simply alright. Strawberry tartelette: LESS sweet than I expected it to be, not a complaint though. The chantilly cream, custard, and tart were delicious as a whole. Service: 4.5* The wait staff is quite friendly and nice, no complaints there. Ambiance: 4.5* It is quite small in there! There are not many tables in there. The bathroom was ultra cramped too.

First I'll start with the wine - we ended up trying all three happy hour wines (HH until 7), which the tables favorites were the white and we ended up getting a bottle to split once HH ended (but I really enjoyed the other vino verde option). It was incredibly refreshing and paired well with the many tinned fish options. As you'd expect - it's a pretty massive selection and there is bound to be a varietal and glass for any palate. It's also attached to a wine store - so it's fine to see all the bottles when peaking over. Food-wise - this is where it was hit or miss, they have a pretty extensive menu (with a whole tinned fish section!) and we ended up ordering the buratta on focaccia (buratta was excellent, focaccia was too dense for my tastes), mushroom truffle crostini (way too salty), the flatbread with sliced kielbasa (was fine), halloume (table favorite ), tinned sardines in lemon oil (delicious), tinned smoked trout (my favorite). Overall the four of us were very full at the end of the meal! The space itself felt very relaxing and rustic, and definitely got busier as the night went on (we got there at 6:50 and left around 9). The service was also fast and attentive - even for the amount of tables they were serving. Overall - I'd definitely go back again, and maybe just focus on the wine and another tinned fish selection!

Thank you to my lovely friend who spent who knows how long trying to get a reservation here. Chilled celtuce (4/5): is it a combination of celery and lettuce? idk but it kinda reminded me of radish, with a clean/slightly bland flavor but it had this hydrating quality to it and a nice crunch. Sesame shao bing (5/5): a literal drug in the most innocuous and tasty form of flatbread. It has the crispiest flake on the outside with a perfectly chewy doughiness to it and a literal slab of butter inside, which melts in real time (careful not to go too ham and let it dribble down your arms and get all over your clothes...because it's just THAT good). Sweet & sour short rib (4/5): the cook on these short ribs were super tender, I just think the marinade was very strong, with a particularly vinegary aroma. Eight treasure rice pudding with sticky toffee (4/5): she's a 4 only because I don't like toffee, but the rice pudding was hands down heavenly. Service was solid, and they have a chic, dim ambience for the tables inside whereas the outdoor seating sits underneath the lanterns and soaks up the streets of Chinatown, so each have a merit of its own.

They also have shared tables, so we sat with another couple. Huge wine selection. Everything we ate was delicious. To me, the Celtuce is more of a novelty - cool, yummy, fresh but small. The crudo was the same thing. So in my opinion, I don't think it's worth the money. The noodles were so good we got 2 orders of it - you cannot skip!! The dessert was also unlike anything I've had before. If you love sticky rice and caramel/toffee, you have to try it. It had a unique flavor that reminded me of a mix between soondubu and dwenjang chigae which worked well. Unfortunately, the rest was a miss. The bossam was overly salty and didn't feel true to the dish. The tteokbokki was another disappointment -it came with cheese (which wasn't expected) and just fell flat overall.
