I know there are some great breakfast spots nearby. Like legit brunch go to spots. But - I was not willing to give up my free parking to get there. Ha! Also did not want the tired ole breakfast sammy at the venue. So Yelp steered me here. Was thinking I'd an omelette off menu was where I'd end up but got there and found out there's a buffet with a an omelette station...was it more expensive? Not sure but for $25 there was plenty of fruit, breakfast sides, waffles, and so much more. Abraham whipped up an amazing veggie egg white omelette for me. Service was attentive and prompt. The vibe is your standard hotel dining area - forgot to mention it is the Hilton restaurant. Entrance is through the hotel lobby. It was a great sit down breakfast.

Appetizers have cauliflower bites, SNL nachos, tenders, Jumbo, pretzel with a cheese sauce, mozzarella sticks, southwest eggrolls, Crispy Brussels, Fried pickles, and quesadilla. Salads House and Caesar. They only had Caesar so I decided to stick with fries. Pizzas: Buffalo Chicken, BBQ Chicken and Chicken Bacon Ranch. Sandwiches Classical Burger, Chicken Caesar Wrap, Steak and Cheese and Crispy Chicken I ordered the Buffalo chicken sandwich with DOUBLE buffalo chicken and fries. The best Buffalo chicken I had so far not too salty and not extreme spicy, well rounded and balanced. The chef at this establishment really knows how to make the food pop from the other restaurants around. The bartender was my server and she did a pretty good. My first visit and they already get 4 stars. If keeps up on my next visit when I dine in then i will definitely have no choice but they move to a full 5 stars. The 7 PM time is not too busy so if you want to enjoy some good food come and check this place out. I would come back and check out the rest of the menu.

My sister asked for more syrup and they actually charged us $1 for the ramekin of syrup! Never been to a place that charged for more syrup! We weren't even told that it would be an extra cost. For service, the customers need to be awared. My grandma asked for soft scrabble eggs, which was cooked perfectly to her liking. I had the Nashville hot chicken and waffles with fries. The waffles was cooked a bit too long. The chicken was very juicy but was not hot at all. For Nashville hot, I expected a lot more and I was very disappointed. On the menu, it said drizzled with syrup but there wasn't really any syrup at all. If it was for the chicken being juicy, that sandwhich would of been so dry!!! Yet the fries were good! Service could of been better. Our waitress was nice but barely checked on us. When asking for syrup the first time with another waitress, she said ok but went straight to her table that was near us to take orders. So waited another 5 or so minutes until a lady (who seemed like a manager) came by and we asked again.

There's plenty of seating, the lights are low and cozy, and the vibe is super chill. The music was really good and we pretty much sang the entire time we were there LOL. The guys behind the bar were great, super attentive and helpful without hovering. We all ordered burgers with fries, and honestly, they were exactly what we needed. Fresh, juicy, and perfectly done. We each got a beer too, and while the first round came out a little flat, the bartender immediately replaced them without hesitation and made sure our water glasses stayed full all night. For three people, the total came out to about $60, which was not bad at all for solid food, good service, and a laid-back spot to unwind after a long day. Definitely worth checking out if you want an unpretentious bar with good energy and even better burgers.

My thoughts on the food: it's alright!! I enjoyed my drink, which was one of the Super Bowl…read morespecials. I also liked the wings, we tried garlic Parmesan, buffalo, and Thai chili I believe. They were my favorite part. We also ordered the buffalo chicken pizza, which in my opinion was very bleu cheesey, but I also do not have much experience with buffalo chicken pizza. My concern was that the crust was really thin and just not that great, but still had a couple slices. The buffalo sauce was good for sure. We also had the cookie skillet for dessert which was very ooey gooey but perhaps a little too sweet. You may be thinking, "well yeah of course it's sweet, it's a cookie skillet," but it was an over powering sweetness. But it was a really good portion for sharing with my group of three! The vibe here was pretty nice, the old-firehouse-turned-bar is cool and the decor matches the aesthetic well. There are booths in little nooks and others out in the open and I like the variability. They also have a privateish area for private events. Theres even a parking lot! The service was also good, I was there for their Super Bowl watch party, and while it wasn't insanely busy, the servers were very attentive. As I said, I came here for the Super Bowl with some friends. They had raffles going, a DJ, plenty of TVs showing the game, some free swag, and a special menu. It was nice! They had a special drink menu, although it did advertise deals on food which ended up not being true. I had fun watching the game here, and while the place wasn't packed, most of the other spectators were from the local colleges... they were rather annoying, especially by the end of the night. Different groups were arguing with each other by the end, and one kid swore at the DJ for drawing a raffle winner that wasn't one of the college kids. The kids were leaving so the staff didn't need to intervene I'd say. But it brought us non-college student patrons together. Ah, the game day spirit! So if you're looking for a mature crowd, this may not be the place!

You know those spots that make you wonder if anyone in the kitchen has tasted their own food…read morebefore? Ladder 133 is that kind of beautiful disappointment - a place where the bones of something great are buried under the mediocrity of execution. The building itself, a converted Providence firehouse, practically begs you to love it. Red brick exterior, high ceilings, industrial charm that whispers stories of brass poles and midnight alarms. The kind of place that should be serving food as honest as the first responders who once called it home. Instead, what you get is a study in missed opportunities. Take the pizza - please. In a city that practically invented the art of turning basic ingredients into something transcendent, what arrives is a sad testament to lowered expectations. The crust has that unmistakable character of something that's seen the inside of a freezer, though someone's at least tried to jazz it up with some grill marks. The sauce tastes like it's trying to remember what tomatoes were like in a past life, and the cheese... well, calling it forgettable would require remembering it was there in the first place. The bathroom walls tell their own story - the kind of graffiti that speaks less to youthful rebellion and more to management's casual relationship with giving a shit. It's the little things that tell you everything in a restaurant, and unattended bathroom graffiti screams volumes about attention to detail. Yet somehow, like a random act of culinary kindness, they manage to nail the chicken parm sliders. Decent chunks of tender chicken, nestled in pillowy Hawaiian rolls, actually dressed with sauce and cheese that remember their purpose in life. It's like stumbling across a coherent paragraph in a book full of gibberish. The cookie skillet dessert arrives like a cruel joke - burnt to carbon on the outside while maintaining a center so raw it could probably evolve into sentient life if given enough time. It's the kind of dish that makes you wonder if the oven's temperature settings are more suggestion than rule. But here's the thing - the bartender actually did a great job. Quick with refills, genuine smile, the kind of service that makes you want to like the place more than the food allows. It's reasonably priced too, though that feels less like value and more like an apology. Providence has real culinary chops, Ladder 133 is what happens when potential jumps towards the pole and face-plants. Sure, come for a game, throw down a few beers, maybe grab those surprisingly decent sliders. But for the love of all things holy and Rhode Island, get your pizza somewhere else. This is the kind of place that reminds you why the phrase "sports bar food" often comes with built-in expectations of disappointment. At least the building's still cool.
