The design turned out cute, but I was surprised that there was no prep beforehand- no cuticle care and no cleaning under my nails. For the price, I expected a bit more attention to detail. I decided to return for a second appointment and requested just a simple solid color. Unfortunately, this visit was much worse. During the service, the nail drill cut my cuticles multiple times (four, to be exact), and by the end of the appointment my nails were actively bleeding. My technician, John, didn't acknowledge it or offer anything to address it. When I mentioned it to the front desk, the person there was kind and offered $10 off the service and a bandage, which I appreciated. However, the experience itself was concerning. I also didn't see any tools come out of an autoclave or sterilization pouch during my visit. The location is convenient and the salon has a nice atmosphere, but based on these experiences I won't be returning. I do wish I had read more of the Yelp reviews before coming here.
