I clearly stated that I wanted a thinner, more refined French tip. During my appointment, the nail technician called over three different employees to look at my nails. One of them looked at my nails, gave me a dirty look, and began speaking in Vietnamese. Although I do not speak Vietnamese, her tone and reaction were clearly unprofessional and made me feel uncomfortable. It sounded as though she was questioning why I was there, despite my explaining exactly what I wanted. When I asked if there was a problem, I was simply told that they were not confident they could achieve the look I wanted and therefore could not help me. I was shocked by the lack of professionalism and customer service. Had they communicated this during our text consultation, I would not have wasted my time driving to the salon and coming in for the appointment. I completely understand if a salon is unable to perform a specific service, but the way the situation was handled was disappointing and unprofessional. Not lifting heavy things, not doing anything rough...just typing. One literally slid off mid-email. For the price I paid, I expected at least basic durability. I've had Gel-X before and they usually last me a solid two to three weeks. This was beyond disappointing. They clearly didn't prep or adhere the nails properly. I usually try to give businesses the benefit of the doubt, but all of the bad reviews are right. Save your money and go somewhere that knows what they're doing. I wouldn't come back here even for a fix.
