DELICIOUS birria tacos (note that they use beef instead of goat/lamb which is my preference anyways) - seriously 10/10 flavor. I could eat their tacos every day, just fantastic. There's also an impressive collection of ice cream flavors and types as well as assorted snacks. I got an horchata and strawberry flavored popsicle and both were delicious and refreshing as well. The price also can't be beat! I don't remember how much it all was exactly but I remember noticing what a great deal it was, especially for such good food. I hate to subtract a star but the food took a loooong time to be ready (15-20 min), and it didn't smell great inside the restaurant. Love La Super! From the tacos to the arroz con leche, everything is good. The seating is limited so sometimes we are forced to take our order to go but it's absolutely delicious. Come hungry! Mexican snacks right next to my most favorite Asian store? Yes, please!!! Fresas con Crema is my #1 favorite Mexican dessert while Tres Leches cake comes very close second place. They have fridge after fridge of different flavors of paletas and more fridge for ice cream, fresh fruits and beverages. My go to is always anything with strawberries if I'm not in the middle for an actual Fresas con Crema but in this case I picked up 2 cups for right now and for later :p. Strawberries are packed fresh in a pint size plastic cup with a mix of sour cream, sweetened condensed milk, and evaporated milk. Sweet, refreshing, simple and all around the best dessert there is. Due to Covid it looks like the store is mostly to go. While I was waiting for my turn to order at the counter it looks like they offer other savory snacks as well. Our friends introduced us for the birria tacos (they'll even do chicken birria tacos!) which are delicious. Funny enough, I've never tried the ice cream, but can confirm the Las frecas, elotes, chips+Valentina, birria tacos, and Al pastor tacos are quite good. The service is good, accommodating and relatively quick. The ambiance isn't the best (storage freezers in the main seating area), but it is cozy and clean. While the birria tacos were distinctively salty and contained cheese (real birria tacos don't contain cheese, I believe), I really enjoyed eating it. My bf didn't really feel the same way though. We're used to the birria trucks in NYC, but this was a great competitor, in my opinion. The red and green sauce were great too. The mangonada was incredibly sweet, and we weren't able to finish it all. The elote was a mess just sloppy mayonase, ended up throwing the rest of that too. Just disappointing. Reviews and pictures looked good so gave it a try. They added Birria con queso tacos and it's soooo good! I've had a few Birria tacos Around the area and this place is my go-to. Pastor tacos are also great here! Who knew that u can get great tacos at a place that sells mainly icecream and drinks! I like their limon Aqua and Pina colada aquas! The frutas aquas is great too and comes with bits of fruits in it! The guy in the front is super nice, he let me try a sample of the different aquas. He's always been really helpful when I was asking a lot about the new menu they have! The churros were okay (these appear to be pre made that's hollow meant for filling), and the rice pudding had raisins. Sorry, I know I'm being picky. I just don't like raisins in any desserts. They had close to 20 different aguas frescas, a wall of freezers filled with paletas with all different types of flavors, good Mexican snacks, and ice cream. I've passed by this place so many times and I'm so glad we decided to stop by. They have popsicle galore. This will be the place I come when I want a popsicle because they have so many flavors. They also have ice cream which is right up our alley. We got coconut and mango. Which we liked but the coconut had coconut shavings in it, the mango was creamy and great too. They also have queso ice cream which I thought was cool and interesting. In addition to the popsicles they also have elote there which I will defiantly have to try out sometime.
