I am beyond disappointed with my experience. On Monday, I placed an order for my grandmother's birthday cake. I specifically requested a tres leches cake with strawberry filling, mixed fruit on top, and "Happy Birthday" written in purple. I also clearly stated that I would be picking it up Friday evening. When I arrived Friday, I was told they didn't even have my order. No explanation, no apology beyond the bare minimum, just a suggestion that I choose from whatever pre-made cakes happened to be available. None of those cakes matched what I ordered, but since I needed a birthday cake that night, I settled for one that I was told had pineapple and strawberry filling. To make matters worse, when we cut into the cake, it wasn't even the filling I was told it had. Instead, it was mango and coconut. So let's recap: the cake I ordered was never made, the replacement wasn't what I wanted, and the replacement wasn't even what I was told it would be. At no point did anyone seem concerned that they had completely failed to deliver the order I placed days in advance. This was my grandmother's birthday cake. Not only was the entire experience frustrating and embarrassing, but it showed a complete lack of attention to detail and customer service. I understand mistakes happen, but forgetting the order, offering the wrong replacement, and then giving me a cake with entirely different flavors is unacceptable. The service is almost always unpleasant. The cashier ladies are always rude and have a rude attitude WITH the customers. I always tolerate it but this morning as I was enjoying a pan dulce I noticed an odd "crunch" in my bread.. it was egg shells in almost every bite. Might I add this isn't the first time this has happened. This is one of the more pricey bakeries in Marietta that offer pan dulce and when you really think about it, its not worth spending your money and still receiving stuck up attitude and then still having to bite into eggshells. My daughter suggested we try La Suprema for dinner on our way to a concert. I liked that it could choose what I wanted on my quesadilla, which was grilled perfectly. Service was quick and efficient. We also shared a cheese dip. I personally prefer a white cheese, but the flavor was good. We were pleasantly surprised at how reasonably priced dinner was as well. My husband loooves tres leches cake - so I came to visit La Suprema Bakery! It's a cute little neighborhood bakery, mainly Mexican baked goods and cakes. I also saw a separate station for sandwiches and hot items on the left. The cakes themselves are really delicious - I bought a 6" for $30. They also sell larger cakes, anywhere from a 8" to a full sheet cake but you do need to order ahead as they don't have much variety. To get my cake, I came about 3 days before. I know the 8" was $40 but I'm not sure about the prices of others. All in all, definitely going to be back for more! read more

Awful service! Charges an arm and a leg for unfinished cakes. I ordered a cake here for my daughter's graduation - just a basic, heart shaped cake with white frosting and blue edges and lettering. The thing was framing expensive but we went ahead and ordered it a week ahead of time and paid an exorbitant fee of $102 at the time. I showed up to pick up the cake a week later as agreed and the cake was not ready. The frosting was uneven and showed ridges on the top that they refused to fix. I'm addition to that, they had not even put on the lettering we'd requested. The request was basic white with blue edges and letters and the lady told me they do that at the last minute but all she had was red and light blue for the letters. Luckily I was able to get my money back but not having the cake was very disappointing. What made things worse is the lady's insistence that a cake without writing or evenly spread icing was finished. read more

My experience has been that it depends who's on the cash register the prices can change mostly higher. What would be fair if the pastry prices are listed somewhere for customers to see. Food is okay , the Mexican bread is decent . Being from LA the bar has been raised with all things Mexican . The Mexican bread is not the same they have donuts and other Mexican pastries . Went into this bakery to place a order for a cake, their was a line of people and we had to wait around 15 minutes, until the lady finally decided to help us. In the middle of her checking people out one of her coworkers asks for her for help on a phone order. the lady at the counter begins to yell at her and basically tell her she's useless (all in Spanish) and the lady that was originally on the phone doesn't really stand up for herself. The lady at the counter proceeded to snatch the phone from the girl and begins to argue with the customer on the phone. I need to find another Mexican bakery! The main reason for the 2star rating is poor customer service. Two ladies stand behind the cash register and neither one make any effort to speak or engage customers .Employees seem annoyed when customers enter the bakery. I took two of my friend's kids (Spanish is their first language) into the bakery and I was embarrassed by the bakery employees behavior. They were very rude to well behaved children. The only cold coffee they have is bottled Starbucks. Edited to add: my husband went in to ask for coffee that's not decaf. That was all the had brewed and it wasn't what we ordered. He was given an attitude and kid even cussed at him "Would you like me to go fucking ask her." He was referring to me which register I paid and checked out at. Which my husband didn't know. The cake may have tasted great, but it did not make up for the exceptionally poor customer service. Pick up time was supposed to be 1:00 pm, but the cake did not get to the store till almost 2:00 pm. Delays understandably happen, and we would have been okay, but for the fact that the cake was not in the color we ordered, and was not even in a covered box. We were instructed to return the base for deposit, and it was even written on the receipt, but when we returned the base, we were told that other little accessories had to be returned too and denied deposit. The cakes from here are absolutely amazing! They're nice and moist filled with fresh fruit. I haven't tried anything else from the bakery side. They have a grill with pizzas and burrito options, the grill however has weird hours. If you're trying the burrito bar they have a $5 special of the chicken burritos and the bowls. The spicy chicken bowl is nicely seasoned and they have a good amount of toppings to complement the rice and beans. Not sure what people generally come here for, but our office comes here a lot for the burritos, whihc are 100% the best in town. The burritos are made like a Moe's or Willy's, but they are far superior. Fresh ingedients. The steak is my favorite, but the spicy chicken is good too. They also make a good Philly Cheesesteak. They now have pizzas in the woodfire oven!! Oh my God, the pizzas are better than any other pizza joint in Marietta that I have tried. They are also made with same fresh ingredients and they are around $10.00 for a pizza you can easily share. The staff is awesome and friendly. Raul is always there and is always smiling. I have never had their baked goods, but the other food is so good. They also have the hardest working sign man in the business! read more
