Forrero rocher tart with chocolate croissant

Wish it's wasn't that expensive and it could have been a perfect dessert spot in the area. Nevertheless the taste is superb so I'm sure people would want to keep coming back despite the $$$ We went around 4pm and it seemed they were out of most of the stuff already?! The server was sweet and they had plenty parking as well. Croissants are truly

After a lackluster dinner, I wound up here for entremet healing. The Pear Vanilla Almond Tart with almond flour was appropriately rich without being heavy, thanks largely to the well-mixed almond flour. And the pretty Exotic Passion Fruit was everything an entremet should be, right down to the tart gelatin. Prices are on par with Manhattan, but if isn't everything these days?

Everything from the decor to the layout, and the baking station in the back stood out to me. The glass display case for the baked pastries is a nice touch!! It really sets itself apart from the generic grab and go bakeries in this area. Although pricy, I will say the artisanal craftsmanship of each cake and croissant is there. My drink was thick and not watered down too, which Starbucks likes doing. I can't afford to come here everyday but it's definitely a treat whenever I decide to. I will gladly come again!! Giuliana is a very helpful barista and server as well. Don't hesitate to ask her for tips choosing what you like!!

Tasty pastries with great selections from sweet to savory , great service and love the ambiance ( it reminded me the pastry shop we visited in Paris ! ) I love their chocolate croissant and scone! Coffee is good, too! They open daily from 8am -4pm.

A beautiful, modern bakery that opened in December 2024! The space is crisp and inviting, with a clean, minimalist design. At first glance, you might expect it to be pricey, but the prices are actually quite reasonable. I tried the chocolate croissant, and it was perfect--lightly sweet, buttery, and flaky without being greasy or overly rich. The service was friendly and welcoming. During my visit, there was a Jennifer Choi jewelry pop-up. The delicate, elegant pieces were fun to browse. I'll definitely be back to try more from their pastry selection! Tip: There's no street parking, but they have a parking lot in the back, and you can enter the café from there.

Excellent service and atmosphere. Delicious pastries! I loved the strawberry lime tart and dark chocolate orange dessert. My iced americano had a bold taste. Really loved everything about this place. They have gelato as well, so I'll be back to experience this! Parking is available in the back.

Overall, it's exciting to have a patisserie in the area. With seating and free parking. Items are pretty expensive and rich so we aren't going to be frequent visitors. - Pain suisse - my favorite, it's decent here. - Strawberry croissant with mascarpone filling. Would have preferred it without filling. It felt too rich. - Mango passionfruit cake. Wasn't a fan. Too sweet and the mango-ness was not to my liking.

Very chic French cafe with pretty good spot for coffee! Ordered a medium iced vanilla latte with almond milk (one pump of vanilla) - the color was perfect and didn't taste like I was just drinking almond milk. Definitely want to go back to try the pastries - it smelled amazing in there!!

This was my Valentine's Day treat! Wound up driving past it then drive around to enter their parking lot from Columbia Ave. There is no parking in front on Palisades Ave. When entering from the back I could see someone making pastries. There are about half a dozen stools up front to sit at along counters. I picked up 2 croissants, 3 desserts and a medium latte for $50. I tried the chocolate banana bread croissant ($7.50) and the pistachio apricot croissant. They were good, not the best I've had. They are also on the pricier side. I think they're doing two much with the two flavors in one. There was barely any chocolate in the chocolate banana bread and although i could see apricot you barely tasted it. They have three different sizes for coffee and at least 6 different flavor syrups. No prices are posted for the coffees and I didn't pay close enough attention to what I was charged. I had a caramel latte with only 2 pumps so not overly sweet as requested. I was happy with it. We enjoyed the desserts the most - ferrero rocher tart, pear and vanilla tart ($8.50) and chocolate mousse ($8.65) in shape of heart, which had a raspberry filling. There are not many savory options. A cheddar scallion scone was the only one I noticed during my visit. Overall they had a substantial offering of items so definitely worth coming and trying them!

pretty good croissants not too sweet nice crispy outside

really good quality pastry and def photo worthy- but i have to say it is expensive. I kind of still miss rispoli that was my go to spot to buy pastries for gatherings etc. I would prob come again but due to price maybe not as much as i could.

Had a lovely afternoon coffee with my friend here. Beautifully decorated space, bright colors and live orchids are a nice touch. Excellent coffee - they have one of those gigantic Italian espresso machines that makes heavenly latte with perfect foam. We tried a few croissants with different fillings and macaroons and everything was delicious. I highly recommend.

The best croissants I've had so far in NJ. It is so surprising that it's not very busy here. It is pricey for the baked goods but it's comparable in price to many places in NYC. The plain croissant, the cinnamon bun were my favorites. So flakey and good

There is seating inside and out, and the place is bright and clean. There were a lot of good looking pastries that I never tried or heard of, and the lady behind the counter was super nice and helpful with all my questions (thank you!). I would love to come back to dine in as this visit was take out. I ordered: - beef borek: Delicious! It's not overstuffed with ground beef, and the proportion to dough is really filling. You get a pretty big sized borek - I can get 3 meals out of it. - 1 regular simit, and 1 regular butter simit: the regular simit is larger in size than the butter one, but the butter one is much softer and decadent. The butter simit costs a little more, but totally worth it. - 3 types of round nut cookies: two of the cookies were made of nuts and crumbled easily (I preferred the brown one). I didn't catch the name - I gotta go back lol. There was also this round red pink one that tasted like raspberry, and the consistency was like a chewy macaroon - yeah, I gotta go back and get another one.

The Borek was also great. It was buttery and flay and the cheesy filling was not too salty. The latte I had tasted great. The coffee itself was not too strong. It also was the perfect level of sweet to accompany my desserts. The servers were also very kind and welcoming and helped explain everything they had to offer.

I noticed that Mavi's has installed wall mounted televisions, which scroll menu items, specials, and upcoming events. This was my first time ordering from their brunch menu and it was outstanding. My Western Omelette (ham, onion, mushroom, pepper, egg, potato, arugula, almond slices) was an excellent choice. Every ingredient was fresh, the eggs were fluffy, and it was accompanied by a side salad and two large slices of multigrain bread. The other items were the artistically presented Avocado Salad (Avocado, tomato, onion crisp, sesame seeds, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, arugula mixed salad, almond slices with balsamic glaze and sesame dressing) and the Toowoomba Shrimp Donkatsu (crispy, golden-fried cutlet smothered in a rich, creamy, and spicy Cajun Toowoomba sauce with shrimp, onions, and mushrooms, served alongside a half-portion of pasta). This dish is succulent, creamy, pleasantly spicy, and thoroughly enjoyed. I'll never dine at Mavi's without ordering a Kimchi Bulgogi Pizza (tomato sauce, mozzarella, onion, mushroom, bulgogi beef, kimchi, scallion, spicy mayo drizzle). Not only does every ingredient dance in your mouth, but the soft beet infused crust makes this one of the best pizzas I've happily savored.

Here is what we ordered: - Einspänner: 3.5/5 stars. An upscaled version of an Americano with cream - Deep Black Latte: 3.5/5 stars. Also, a single-shot based drink. Would have preferred a second shot of espresso for a more balanced flavor. The cacao notes are prevalent. - Blooming London: 3.5/5 stars. One shot of espresso with exceptionally thick foam.
