Great coffee, baked goods and service in this tiny place right up from route 5. This place may be a bit pricey, but in my opinion, worth it. They have luxurious baked goods that are made on the spot in a beautiful kitchen that you can see into when walking into the store. I have seen a chef work her magic there once. If you want a cup of coffee, well made pastry that's not too sweet and French cafe vibes, this is a good place to visit. I would probably come with a friend or sit by the window and people watch. A nice bakery located in the quiet area of Fort Lee. I went here to eat passion fruit croissant in the morning but a bummer - they said they didn't bake it for the day. I went with pistachio apricot croissant - it was super flaky and amazing! There were some other variety of croissant available here - strawberry mascarpone sounded like a nice combination. Lelu Patisserie is a small, cozy bakery away from busy Fort Lee that could be hard to miss but where you should check out when you're in the area. Intricate baked goods and desserts, some made with almond flour, displayed with a variety you see behind the glass. I had a Chai Tea Latte with our breakfast when we came to dine in and sat by the window. When you arrive to Lelu Patisserie, there is a small kitchen and even though we didn't see it being used. We knew all the crafted baked goods came from there. The prices are expensive. However, this place is worth a try to see how different the variety you can find here and not often found in other bakeries. Parking lot is available, all payments is acceptable, friendly service by the lovely lady. Enjoy the bright, quiet environment as you come by yourself or with someone. I called ahead to confirm a full honey cake was in stock and asked for it to be held since I was across the street in my car. The associate agreed. I arrived within *minutes* and watched another customer walk out with the exact cake that was supposed to be held for me. When I said I had called, the response was simply, "oh sorry I just gave it to him," with no attempt to make it right. This was for my grandmother's 90th birthday, and the alternative offered wasn't appropriate for her given that she couldn't do crunchy (hazelnuts). The honey cake also had sentimental significance. WOW!! What a hidden gem that was just opened in December 2024. Cute French bakery reminded me of those in Paris. The pastries were amazing and of high quality. Crispy just how I like them and not overly sweet. Staff asked if I wanted to heat up mine. Yes it was delicious! There is also a variety of gelato flavors just in time for the hot summer days! There are two benches with some stools for you to enjoy indoor. You can also see the bakers making the treats onsite in the back area. It really sets itself apart from the generic grab and go bakeries in this area. Although pricy, I will say the artisanal craftsmanship of each cake and croissant is there. At first glance, you might expect it to be pricey, but the prices are actually quite reasonable. I tried the chocolate croissant, and it was perfect--lightly sweet, buttery, and flaky without being greasy or overly rich. The service was friendly and welcoming. This was my Valentine's Day treat! Wound up driving past it then drive around to enter their parking lot from Columbia Ave. There is no parking in front on Palisades Ave. When entering from the back I could see someone making pastries. There are about half a dozen stools up front to sit at along counters. I picked up 2 croissants, 3 desserts and a medium latte for $50. I tried the chocolate banana bread croissant ($7.50) and the pistachio apricot croissant. They were good, not the best I've had. They are also on the pricier side. I think they're doing two much with the two flavors in one. There was barely any chocolate in the chocolate banana bread and although i could see apricot you barely tasted it. They have three different sizes for coffee and at least 6 different flavor syrups. No prices are posted for the coffees and I didn't pay close enough attention to what I was charged. I had a caramel latte with only 2 pumps so not overly sweet as requested. I was happy with it. We enjoyed the desserts the most - ferrero rocher tart, pear and vanilla tart ($8.50) and chocolate mousse ($8.65) in shape of heart, which had a raspberry filling. There are not many savory options. A cheddar scallion scone was the only one I noticed during my visit. Overall they had a substantial offering of items so definitely worth coming and trying them! read more

Great to have this place in Fort Lee--a high quality french baking place (sorely needed in this town). I've had several of their croissants and tarts and they are all delicious. The textures and quality are definitely better than standard/chain dessert fare. Will be a regular here! I think the prices are about right for what you get. We've had the regular croissant, pain au chocolate, pistachio croissant, strawberry cream croissant, and mango tart. Edit: went there today myself and it's pretty pricey. 8.10 for most of them I saw one for 7.5. The croissants near me albeit decent are over 3 times cheaper. I'll only have to come to this one in fort Lee on the rare occasion. It's very good but the price should be lowered-maybe 5-6 dollars is reasonable. Or a deal if you buy let's say a few 4. Thank you.
