Gnocchi Cod fish, chickpeas, rosemary pasta

Our host was amazing, he was very informative of the menu. our waiters were very tentative as well. There were a lot of different types of pasta, seafood dishes that were a specialty of Amalfi coast. I would recommend everyone to come eat here, the ambience is so beautiful. The decor inside the restaurant was super vibrant. I had the cod fish pasta and it was very buttery and savory.

The BEST lasagna I've had.... Amazing and friendly service! A quaint and nice setting off the main center of town street. Highly recommended!

This is a wonderful little restaurant off the main path of the Amalfi Coast. After walking around some of the shops in the area, we found this place nestled in the corner and decided to stop in for dinner. It a very comfortable atmosphere! The owner instantly greeted us as if we were old friends. When we decided to try the mussels for an appetizer, the chef came out to tell us that the mussels were out of season for the area and had to be transported from Spain. Therefore, although they would taste fine, they would smell bad and he wanted to make sure that was okay. Of course it wasn't a problem for us and we later laughed because he was completely right. The mussels smelt awful, but tasted amazing!! We also split a pizza that was delicious. It's definitely a nice, small restaurant off the main road of the Piazza. I would definitely recommend it as one of the better restaurants we went to during our trip!

Penne Arrabiatta - amazing!! You can smell the garlic as its being served!

We came here twice in a row for dinner, and both times we had amazing dishes. The pastas were cooked perfectly, and the service was good. It feels like a family run business, and the owner is very friendly and attentive. My husband loved his lasagna the first evening, he loved the tomato sauce and the immense amount of cheese. He also really enjoyed his "scialateilli di mare," he loved the herbs incorporated in the home made pasta, and the fresh mussels. I really loved my "penne Arrabiatta," the pasta was al dente. I could smell the garlic goodness as I was being served. The fresh juicy cherry tomatoes in the dish were amazing. It's not spicy by any means, but I could eat a few more plates if my stomach had rooms! Overall, a quaint little place that has great home made food.

Linguine with capers olives and tomatoes

One thing you will find in Amalfi is that you don't have to pay an arm and a leg to get good food. Masaniello is prime example. Having dined at a few finer establishments in the area, this is every bit as good at half the price. Great pasta, homemade at that. Had the linguine with capers and olives. Also tried my wife's bolognese which was divine. The owner makes this feel like you are eating at his home. I'll tell you who doesn't regret stopping here....this guy

Fantastic lunch. The owner is super friendly with just the right amount of salesmanship. Had the spaghetti alle vongle. Gluten free pasta options as well as gf bread available. Highly recommend.

This was our favorite restaurant of all we tried in Amalfi. We ate pasta carbonara, marsala chicken, and fried calimari; all were delicious!

They don't have anything marked GF on their menu but the server walked me through what I could have. My friend and I started with the La Caprese and they provided me with a GF baguette. For my entree I had the zucchini GF pasta. The pasta was good but the sauce was a bit overwhelming. It wasn't my favorite. My friend ordered the La Genovese with GF pasta and it was really enjoyable. They only had 1 GF dessert so we opted to get the lemon sorbet. They also brought out a few GF candies as well. Overall the service and views were really nice but I wasn't a fan of my entree.

We attempted to contact the restaurant via WhatsApp, which many Amalfi restaurants use for international guests. Unfortunately, Da Gemma wasn't reachable this way, and as international travelers, we had no reliable way to call them directly. The next day, we were charged a €60 no-show fee. Despite explaining the situation to Simone, the general manager, there was no flexibility or exception made. While we understand the need for cancellation policies, the lack of accessible communication and rigid handling of the situation was disappointing. International visitors may want to keep this in mind when making plans. There are many other welcoming and accommodating restaurants in Amalfi.

They take your coat after you sit at the table. The decorations are of the 12th century applied arts. I had to order à la carte due to being a vegetarian and GF but my friend ordered from the tasting menu. The food and service were wonderful. We both ordered a glass of wine - I had the moscato. They have GF bread that was brought to the table. It was also made with the bruschetta. For my courses, I had the omelette with broccoli, pumpkin GF pasta, buffalo cheese with tomato under lemon leaves, a palate cleanser of strawberry ice cream, and chocolate mousse. We even got to try their Michelin best dessert of 2026 which was the lemon soufflé. It was decadent and delicious. We even had a tour of the kitchen to see the artwork on the ceiling. Overall our experience was cozy and sophisticated with its lemon infused dishes. Would highly recommend!

Unfortunately, our experience did not live up to them. I ordered the shrimp for €26. I received only six shrimp, heavily battered, with nothing else on the plate. For €26, I expected considerably more in both quality and presentation. We also ordered a €9 salad, which was essentially just tomatoes. My wife's food was better, but overall we felt the food was significantly overpriced for what we received. The biggest disappointment, however, was the service. Our server took our order and essentially never attended to our table again. He walked past us several times without checking on us. We asked another server for water; he said he would bring it but never returned. Eventually, we had to get the attention of a third person just to get some water. The restaurant was very busy, and I understand that can affect service, but being busy shouldn't mean customers are virtually ignored throughout their meal. Beautiful setting and atmosphere, but based on our experience, poor service and very poor value for the money. With such high ratings, we expected much better. Unfortunately, this felt much more like a tourist-priced restaurant than the authentic dining experience we were hoping for.
