Nice ambiance, average food, horrible service, and automatic 18% gratuity La Terraza is inside of the JW Marriott Miami. Had a late lunch, and the restaurant was practically empty. Food: The Cobb salad was good but not great. The salad had an odd ingredient for this specific salad- avocados. The avocado just didn't work with bacon and blue cheese. And the number of baby tomatoes was minuscule. Service: It took forever to get my salad. I ordered just one item- cobb salad- and the restaurant was basically empty. Adding an automatic 18% gratuity was inappropriate. Overall cleanliness: average

Super nice and accommodating female bartender. We didn't eat an entree, but the appetizer was delicious. Don't forget to get your valet card validated so you don't have to pay $42!

YELP! It's time to move to 10 stars, because Bistro Cafe, deserves a 10 OUT OF 10 Damnit!!!…read more When I tell you, this place is amazing, it's absolutely amazing, from the interior, to the staff, and the food! Just finished our 6 day anniversary cruise and my wife found this Bistro from the reviews. This was a brunch stop before hitting the airport. We started off with mimosas, my wife had the cotton candy mimosa and I had the margarita mimosa. Great way to start off, they were delicious! My wife order the French Toast with Scrambled Eggs & Diced Potatoes. I ordered the Chapulín Egg white omelette with pancakes...let me tell yall something..The BEST Omelette I have ever had you hear me. Huge shoutout to the chef! We loved the all the food, but I truly loved the omelette. When I come back to Miami, I'm calling yall ahead of time cause this was everything I needed! Thank you all so much for your hospitality!

The food was AMAZING! We definitely got a little carried away ordering because everything sounded so good, and for just my husband and me, our bill came to around $150. The portions were MUCH bigger than we expected, so I'd actually recommend ordering a little less than you think you need because you'll leave stuffed! That crème brûlée French toast was truly CHEF's KISSSSSSSSSSSSS! I would fly back just to have it again! The drinks were great too, but let me warn you... that Cotton Candy Mimosa is SWEET. Whew! If you have a serious sweet tooth, you'll absolutely love it. The atmosphere was such a vibe. The music was right up my alley, and the entire restaurant had such a fun energy. On top of that, our servers were phenomenal and made the experience even better. One piece of advice: get there EARLY. We arrived shortly after leaving our cruise and were seated without an issue, but while we were there, I heard people being quoted anywhere from a 30-minute wait to over an hour. If it's your last morning before heading home, that may not fit your schedule, but I can honestly say it's worth the wait. Amazing food, great service, fun atmosphere, and an experience we'll definitely be coming back for. Bistro's Cafe has earned a permanent spot on my Miami list!

It's thoughtful, intentional, and effortlessly cool. They have a seasonal menu for both matcha and coffee, which immediately had my attention. I ordered an iced coffee with pistachio cold foam and let me just say... this coffee did not come to play. Strong, smooth, perfectly balanced, by far one of the best coffees I've had in a whileeee. The kind that has you singing karaoke in the car afterward and feeling like life is good again. The vibe inside is super cute cozy but stylish, with plants, pastries on display, and just enough buzz to feel alive without being chaotic. It's also dog-friendly, which automatically earns bonus points. Henry absolutely loved it and felt very included . Bonus bonus: it's right by Edgewater, so you can grab your coffee and take a little walk by the water afterward to catch the breeze. Truly an ideal Miami morning. Amazing coffee, great energy, strong culture, and a space that feels both local and special. Magdalena is officially on repeat.

I will say the matcha quality has improved from the last time I got their matcha (maybe a year ago) They also have a pet wall which is the cutest thing . I honestly don't understand how this place has more than 4 stars on Yelp…read more We ordered the Shakshuka, Steak & Eggs, and two orders of pancakes. The Shakshuka was okay--perfectly edible, but nothing memorable. The Steak & Eggs was pretty much the same: decent, but definitely not worth the premium price. The biggest disappointment was the pancakes. They were dense, had noticeable lumps in the batter, and were nowhere near as light and fluffy as good pancakes should be. The syrup also didn't taste like real maple syrup, which was surprising considering how expensive everything is. Speaking of prices, Café Bastille is seriously overpriced for what it delivers. The restaurant also wasn't cool enough inside--the air conditioning struggled to keep the space comfortable, which made the meal less enjoyable. The one bright spot was the service. Our server was friendly, attentive, and did an excellent job throughout the meal. One more thing that is becoming increasingly frustrating in Miami: the bill already included a mandatory 20% gratuity. While I always tip for good service, automatically adding 20% regardless of the experience feels excessive. This trend is getting out of control and takes away the customer's ability to reward service based on merit. Overall, this feels like a place designed more for tourists than for locals. Nice presentation and good marketing, but the food simply doesn't justify the prices. Unfortunately, I wouldn't come back.
