Really liked this restaurant. They have so many specials and their prices are very reasonable! Free chips, salsa AND queso??? Get outta here!!!! Wish more people would come out though! They deserve more patronage. I think this will be our new favorite spot for our family to eat Tex-Mex right here in Cedar Hill. Oh my word, this was the worst food I've ever had. The queso had such an odd taste, so we sent it back. Our main dishes arrived, and were the most horrible enchiladas I've ever tasted. We paid the bill and just left all of the food there. read more

Gotta say I was skeptical about another Mexican restaurant in Cedar Hill BUT they won me over. The menu is a little limited however the food has always been good. And you have to try the cobblers. They are soooo good and very reasonably priced. read more

I came in here to place a to go order after a 12hr shift, I decided to go with the Menudo, it's not on their regular menu but it was on white boards, it did not disappoint! It was so delicious, my mouth was watering as I was serving myself when I got home, the tortillas were great, I got a whole juicy lime with chopped cilantro, onions and jalapeños...... The price was reasonable and Maria even gave me a free horchata while I waited! I can't wait to go back and try other items. read more

It's a cozy little place with a great selection of Mexican and American cuisine. The salsa for the chips was great and they provided FREE queso! Plenty of daily specials too. The server was very polite and attentive. The food was GREAT!! Laid back atmosphere. Definitely have to try! read more

Out looking for some good Tex-Mex after church and was so excited to try this place based on the reviews, but WOW, what a disappointment! The waitress was extremely rude right off, for absolutely no reason, and perhaps that was a predictor of how the food would be. Awful. I decided to order breakfast with pancakes, eggs, sausage and hash browns. The eggs and hashbrowns were ok but the pancakes were doughy and not cooked all the way, and the sausage was dry and shriveled and seemed old. My husband got the grilled pork chops which were also dried out and salty. Based on the reviews we may have chalked it up to a bad day and tried again but the waitress' attitude sealed the deal. We were introduced by a nextdoor neighbor. We went for dinner and were pleasantly surprised. Although the service was lacking due to inadequate staff, the quality and value of the food more than made up for the shortcoming. The staff apologized numerous times about the service yet it did not matter. We left satisfied after hsving a great homemade meal. We went back for breakfast and it exceeded our expectations. Fluffy, delicious biscuits, creamy gravy and tasty pancakes made it one of the best breakfasts we've had in Cedar Hill. Plan on making this our after church breakfast spot. read more

Guiso de puerco verse (pork) is pretty good and they made it spicy for me. Rice and beans good. I have had their picadillo and it's not greasy so I thought it was pretty good. Prices match the food quality. I rated as a 4 star because over all I did want to be too picky but this place is good. read more

Our new go to Mexican restaurant since El Corazon in Oak Cliff carpet bagged to North Dallas. We have tried the breakfast, catfish special, cheeseburger and fries not to mention enchiladas,fajitas, flautas, tamales. All are outstanding! Chips are fresh served with warm queso and great salsa. Very enjoyable lunch. Enjoyed free delicious warm salsa and queso with crisp chips before our meal. Server, Yvonne, was a favorite of mine from Acapulco's in DeSoto. Cook also came from there. My friend and I each had a very good lunch special...lots of delicious food for a reasonable price. We ate Tex-Mex. Breakfast is served all day. I'll certainly return! Just checked this place out for breakfast. It's outstanding food for a minimal price. Had eggs and sausages, with potatoes and 2 pancakes, all for a mere 7.57 dollars(tax included). The second time I tried the catfish filets, which were great, with pintos, cole slaw, onion ring & hush puppies. And a sweet tomato relish I didn't expect to like.
