    what is inside of tripleta.

I received only good things from this place. I traveled 13 hours, plus a motorcycle ride just to come to this place. Didn't care about anything else, just to try the Tripleta at 12:30am and to this add a empanadilla de carne, an alcapurrias de jueyes (crab fritter), and a virgin pina colada. To this add another crab fritter and a soda my total tag price was less than $18. Taxes are included in the cost of the food. Our food was fresh, we waited about 15-20 minutes but got what I wanted. Yummy everything. One thing I didn't like was one of the guy taking the order, he was sick, a friend of mine ask to please smile and he response was, I am sick....kinda rude kiddo. In overall, YES, I go back again. Tip: CASH ONLY! No alcohol.

Tripleta....I have no idea what it all is, all I know is that it's delicious!

This is one of my favorite food trucks. They serve Hispanic dishes. They're known for their "tripleta" and OMG, it's a mixture of cut up meats, lettuce, tomatoes, some sexy sauce and what looks like potato sticks on a sub. I really don't know exactly what's in it but it's so yummy! I'm Puerto Rican and my Jamaican husband is the one who told me about it, I had never eaten one before. I guess I'm not that cultured on my own culture. ANYWHOOOOO! It's yummy and you should try it! ...I'm such a foodie.

My GPS had me go past this location which is almost directly across the street from Coggin Honda, behind a gas station. After a quick call to the restaurant the owner helped me out. Since he knew I was on the way he had started boxing up my food. The bag was heavy because I got pork and a big juicy piece of baked chicken. The rice was flavorful and had pigeon peas. The beans were thoughtfully placed in a separate small container. I also got fried plantains and chicharrones. My favorite was the beans because they were so flavorful and seemed to be a different bean than I am used to. I ended up preferring the chicken over the pork but both were good. They have a steam table with several choices but offer food by the meal. Once I located the restaurant (they have lots of lights in the front window,) I found the restaurant to be clean and the owner very kind. We chatted about me getting turned around and how close this is to my home. I have frequented similar restaurants closer to the turnpike but I think I have found a new favorite.

I originally ordered sausage, egg, and cheese, but then I saw the bacon, egg, and cheese and asked whether I could switch it. The gentleman behind the counter said they could do both, then asked whether I wanted to add a hash brown too. Obviously, I said yes. He told me they would make basically anything I wanted as long as they had the ingredients, and I absolutely loved that energy. The sandwich was huge, super cheesy, messy in the best way, and packed with sausage, bacon, egg, and a crispy hash brown. It was a very generous portion and completely worth the price. This is definitely going into my breakfast-sandwich rotation. My fiancé ordered the Godfather, which was also delicious. It is definitely on the messier side, though, so if you are getting it to go or traveling any distance, I would recommend asking for the vinaigrette on the side. Ray's has strong neighborhood bodega vibes, generous portions, and the kind of menu where they are willing to customize your order instead of making things complicated. My only minor critique is that one employee could have been a little friendlier, but everyone else made the experience enjoyable. Another great visit, and we will absolutely be back.

The service was quick, we waited about 8-10 minutes for our order. The egg was cooked perfectly, just the way I like it. We both loved the cheese and the way it still dripped into the sandwich. The steak sorta tasted synthetic but regardless, my girlfriend and I commented that we would come again for their lunch items.

Staff were super helpful and friendly on the menu. Food came with fries or tots and they were super crispy and fresh. I would suggest coming earlier in the day vs towards the end of the day as the earlier experience and food was better. I ate their Cuban each time. One lacked pork, but generally the taste was good. The bread was a little soft compared to other Cuban sandwiches I have had, but for what it was, it was good enough. On one visit, I had French fries, and on the other, I had tots. I preferred the taste of the tots over the French fries. Ketchup is rationed out, as you need to ask someone behind the counter for ketchup. I ordered the grilled cheese sandwich for my daughter, which she enjoyed. It was 3 pieces of bread and had lots of cheesy goodness, which makes for a delicious grilled cheese. They had a couple of swinging bench seats, which were unique and fun for the kids to sit on. This was a good option for a fairly quick meal. I would eat here again.

The café has an open, spacious layout with plenty of seating, creating a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. My friend and I ordered sandwiches with mushrooms, tomatoes, lettuce, and avocado. They came with lightly salted sweet potato fries that were simple but delicious. The prices were also very reasonable. I also ordered a lemonade, which was incredibly refreshing--perfect for such a hot day. After we placed our order, we were given a table number, and our food was brought to us. The service was friendly, and the overall atmosphere was light and pleasant. The café is conveniently located near Epic Universal, making it a great place to stop for a meal.
