But she had looked me in the eye three days before and told me a different price. Essentially, she lied. She examined the pieces beforehand, quoted me a price, and then didn't honor her quote. When I protested, she said other customers she charged $12, but for me, she charged $11, which doesn't make sense bc I saw her one time and I know I'm special and all, but it's not like we hit it off and she wanted to give me a discount. It wasn't that vibe. As for the quality, I have only worn one of the sweaters since and it doesn't seem very clean. It is pressed but it still has a lot of pet hair on it which is why I took it in. Overall, I am very disappointed with my first dry-cleaning experience in NC. Hopefully, I will find a more trustworthy business.

When I received my laundry back, half of it was laundered and half of it was dry cleaned. To be more specific, one pillowcase, one sheet and one comforter was dry cleaned. The other pillowcase, the other sheet, and the other comforters were laundered. When I inquired about the $284 charge, which should have been $42, the lady at the desk, was very rude and hung up on me. When I called back, she accused me of hanging up on her. I asked to speak to the owner. She said the owner would not talk to us because she was busy and on the phone, but had offered a $35 credit towards future cleaning. "No thank you," I said, "I'd like to speak with the owner." She then proceeded to yell at me again. When I attempted to ask to speak to the owner again, she belligerently told me to stop interrupting and that she would hang up on me again if I continued. I have left several messages and have not received a phone call back from the owner. I would not recommend this place, my experience was horrible and I paid additional $238 for one dry cleaned pillowcase (it's mate was laundered as I ordered), one dry cleaned sheet (whose mate was laundered as ordered), and a dry cleaned comforter, which I did not order. To make matters worse my wife is allergic to perc (the dry cleaning ingredient) so we now have to take them elsewhere to be laundered so we can use them. I am not a person who leaves bad reviews. However, I have used wash and fold and dry cleaning services for over 30 years. (Not my first rodeo.) The level of overcharge compounded by rudeness is why I am writing this review. Stay away.

The dry cleaner clearly used the wrong chemicals or process on my garment. When I confronted the owner, he flat-out denied everything and ran away from his responsibility like a coward--no apology, no compensation, just pure negligence. If you have valuable or high-quality clothing, do NOT bring it here unless you want it destroyed! To make matters worse, they are not even BBB members, meaning you have no real way to hold them accountable. They know exactly how to get away with ruining your clothes without paying a dime. And trust me, who knows what they're really doing with your clothes? For all we know, they could be sending them somewhere else and cleaning them with thousands of other people's dirty laundry. Absolutely disgusting and unprofessional. A business that destroys customers' clothing and refuses to be accountable does not deserve to operate. If you value your clothes, stay far, far away from this place! If there were a negative 1000-star option, that's exactly what I'd give.
