I brought in a pink suit jacket and matching pants that I wanted altered for a more modern look. I wanted the pants tapered and shortened to an ankle length, and I was very specific about the style I was trying to achieve. In the past, I've had alterations done where the hems weren't crisp or too much fabric was removed, leaving the garment looking obviously altered. This experience was completely different. She took the time to listen, understood exactly what I wanted, and delivered it perfectly. The finished suit looks as though it was designed and purchased that way from the start. The woman told me to come in and they would let me know the price, which is understandable as I know all dresses are different. I then proceeded to let her know my timeline and she said OK if it was a simple shortening, it shouldn't be a problem. She told me she left at 5, but they were open till 6:30 and considering the type of alteration I was looking for, it wouldn't be a problem for me to come in anyway. So I drive there, walk in and a gentleman is steaming clothes, didn't even look at me, and asked what I needed. I told him, and still not making eye contact with me, he told me sorry we are booked up until mid September. I proceeded to explain I talked to someone already as I needed the dress sooner than September, and he again, didn't acknowledge me, and just said ok then and proceeded to steam. I was shocked he didn't even give me the time to look at my dress or hear out that I had talked to someone on the phone already, or just simply kindly explain they couldn't do it. Was hoping to find a new alterations shop i could rely on, but it unfortunately will not be here. Just to add, as I am reading other reviews, I agree that the owner gave off the vibe that I was bothering him and he could have cared less that I was a potentially paying customer.

Bait and switch, RUDE, and no communication from the owner to address their error…read moreI dropped off two bags of wash and fold laundry; specifically sheets, towels, a blanket and comforters, after being drawn to the business because they offered a 20% off coupon on comforter laundering. When I received my laundry back, half of it was laundered and half of it was dry cleaned. To be more specific, one pillowcase, one sheet and one comforter was dry cleaned. The other pillowcase, the other sheet, and the other comforters were laundered. When I inquired about the $284 charge, which should have been $42, the lady at the desk, was very rude and hung up on me. When I called back, she accused me of hanging up on her. I asked to speak to the owner. She said the owner would not talk to us because she was busy and on the phone, but had offered a $35 credit towards future cleaning. "No thank you," I said, "I'd like to speak with the owner." She then proceeded to yell at me again. When I attempted to ask to speak to the owner again, she belligerently told me to stop interrupting and that she would hang up on me again if I continued. I have left several messages and have not received a phone call back from the owner. I would not recommend this place, my experience was horrible and I paid additional $238 for one dry cleaned pillowcase (it's mate was laundered as I ordered), one dry cleaned sheet (whose mate was laundered as ordered), and a dry cleaned comforter, which I did not order. To make matters worse my wife is allergic to perc (the dry cleaning ingredient) so we now have to take them elsewhere to be laundered so we can use them. I am not a person who leaves bad reviews. However, I have used wash and fold and dry cleaning services for over 30 years. (Not my first rodeo.) The level of overcharge compounded by rudeness is why I am writing this review. Stay away.

She also removed a stay and now I can breathe easier - and the dress feels and looks beautiful! Vinka is a talented seamstress. If you need someone who is top in her field, seek out Vinka! Not only was she able to repair it, but it only costed me $12. Now I didn't expect her to completely restitch the shoe back exactly how it was, but she was able to make it less noticeable. Now I can wear my shoes outside. I'll be back to bring a jacket in that I need to have altered.
