The woman told me to come in and they would let me know the price, which is understandable as I know all dresses are different. I then proceeded to let her know my timeline and she said OK if it was a simple shortening, it shouldn't be a problem. She told me she left at 5, but they were open till 6:30 and considering the type of alteration I was looking for, it wouldn't be a problem for me to come in anyway. So I drive there, walk in and a gentleman is steaming clothes, didn't even look at me, and asked what I needed. I told him, and still not making eye contact with me, he told me sorry we are booked up until mid September. I proceeded to explain I talked to someone already as I needed the dress sooner than September, and he again, didn't acknowledge me, and just said ok then and proceeded to steam. I was shocked he didn't even give me the time to look at my dress or hear out that I had talked to someone on the phone already, or just simply kindly explain they couldn't do it. Was hoping to find a new alterations shop i could rely on, but it unfortunately will not be here. Just to add, as I am reading other reviews, I agree that the owner gave off the vibe that I was bothering him and he could have cared less that I was a potentially paying customer.

first and most importantly they are open during their advertised business hours and someone is here…read moreat 9:00 Saturday morning to collect your things and take your money (unlike several other places around here.) perfect except for I just found out they're closing at the end of the month! bummer since they're way close to the house, not the route I usually go, but here they are nonetheless... and since I wanted to drop off my pants for cleaning and to get the cuffs re-did and it was Saturday morning and I was tired of driving around with my pants in the car because the other cleaners that I've used are no longer convenient geo- or chronographically I eventually wound up my weekend travels here. yea! so Wednesday comes around and I pick up a pair of clean, pressed pants that have been properly re-hemmed (old stitches cut out and then resewn with a simple but effective chain stitch, hemmed, and joined at the seams) seems a tiny bit spendy for such a little thing but not so much that I feel an urge to learn to sew this weekend and they did such a nice job of it too so yeah, just a tiny bit... maybe I'll find some time over spring break? BTW: according to the shopkeeper they only use environmentally friendlier cleaning compounds for their processes. The price quoted was far less than I was quoted while still living in California, so I was eager to bring my dress in - I had waited far too long and I was warned by the gentleman here that the stains may not come out as well. Came by here last Tuesday to drop off my dress on my way to work and was able to pay up front for 5% off my bill (December special) and told my dress would be ready by Friday. Very speedy transaction and was able to pay with Apple Pay, which was convenient. Called today to check in, and it was ready for pickup! Dropped by on my way home from work, got the dress (speedy service) and was astonished at how clean it came out! Very pleased and will come here again for our dry cleaning needs.
