Hands-down, one of the best ice cream parlors my kids and myself has been to in Louisville. Definitely recommended.

Great night with friends listening to music by Most Wanted on the patio. There were about a dozen…read moreof us that had dinner before the music started inside the resturant. My husband and I split a philly cheesesteak sandwich and fries. The sandwich was huge and a good size portion of fries. It was good, served with provolone, peppers, onions and mushrooms. Since it was Detby week several large parties came in after the races so service was a bit slow but all in all our server did a great job taking care of the crowd. We all brought chairs to sit on the patio to listen to the great 70s and 80s cover band Most Wanted. It was a beautiful night, with good food, great company and fabulous music. There is a parking lot but if it's full, there is a bank across the street and a car wash next store where you can park.

Drink orders. Appears one waitress for both parties. Over one hour later, one of us gets her side salad. Why sooo long for that. No staff interaction. . No checking on us or letting us know status. Other group has their Togo boxes and we're still waiting on any movement of food to our table. It's a shame better mgmt and planning didnt go into our visit to your restaurant. The food was good and hot. Burgers ok, fish big, loved the broccoli salad, nice entree salad, delish chicken salad. Not a fan of the pasty, overly cheesy grits. Birthday cookie given, looked delish, hard as a rock....overwarmed I guess!! And of course, 20% added for our group. We always overtip for good service. And we did this time also. She did the best she knew how. By herself. Although interaction and communication would have helped. Some of us drove 30, 40 miles to eat here. We go out every month. This was an unusual disappointment.

We hadn't eaten in all day as we had taken a red eye flight and fortunately able to check in early…read moreso we settled in and took a nap before heading out to linner. Initially we went to a Puerto Rican restaurant but it had closed so we decided on Italian and found this place nearby. Honestly, we weren't expecting much as we had previewed the menu and I expected it to be a lower quality restaurant but I was wrong as the food was excellent. We were so hungry so we started off with the caprese (7.99). This was the least fave of what we had. It was ok, not much to it though. I love pizza so I ordered a med veggie pizza and added pepperoni (17.00 + 4.00 for pepperoni). BFF ordered the chicken portobello which was served over a bed of fettucini. Both the pizza and pasta were excellent. My eyes were bigger than my tummy as I only ate 2 slices of pizza and took the rest back to the hotel. Our server was very attentive and provided excellent service. The only thing I did not care for was there was a 1.93 diff between the cash price and the card price and I hate when businesses charge that cause you know they're still making money as they are charging more than what the service is charging them for the point of service. Unfortunately/fortunately, I just deducted that amount from the server's tip.

Tuscany is a neighborhood Italian restaurant that my family has enjoyed for years. Our most recent…read morevisit was this Sunday, Mother's Day. A local musician we enjoy was scheduled to play during dinner hours. I called the day before to try to make reservations, but they don't take reservations on Mother's Day. First come first served. As we assumed it would be very busy, we arrived at 4pm. We were seated promptly, given menus and our drink orders were taken. Our server was wonderful. Warm, knowledgeable of the menu and quick with accurate answers to questions. She also provided quick, accurate and friendly service. We ordered the spinach dip and chips appetizer for the table. It was fine, but not super flavorful. I'd say it was just ok. The chips were quite good. Bread and marinara was brought to the table. It was warm, fresh tasting and flavorful. We enjoyed it. I ordered a side garden salad with ranch and the shrimp casserole. The server made a point to let me know there was pasta in the casserole which I thought was nice. I wish she had reminded me there was Italian sausage in it. I'm not a fan of Italian sausage in anything. There was nothing wrong with it, I just don't like it. I ate around it. The shrimp, pasta, broccoli and cheesy cream sauce in the dish were cooked and seasoned to perfection. Very tasty. My salad was pretty good. The blue cheese dressing was delicious. My husband got the sampler and I tried a bite of his lasagna and it was delicious. Our daughter ordered shrimp diavolo. She enjoyed it and there was enough for her to bring a big portion home. My parents got the fettuccine Alfredo as they always do and enjoyed it as much as ever. We ordered some desserts and coffee so that we could linger awhile to hear the live music. Jeff Rehmet is a great entertainer. His beautiful playing and witty banter added a lot to our Mother's Day celebration. He took some requests which was nice. Our desserts were very good. Between us we got tiramisu, lava cake, cheesecake and biscotti ice cream. Everyone loved their desserts and ate every bite. My only complaint was that my coffee was not hot. It was lukewarm. That was a bit disappointing as it was chilly in the restaurant. Still tasted ok and not enough of a big deal to take the shine off of a wonderful evening and meal with family. My parents picked up the tab so I'm not sure about the bill. Tuscany is not cheap but not outrageous. Prices are fair for the quality and amount of food. All in all we had a great experience. We will always return to Tuscany.

I came out here because I was disappointed by the hype around Toasty's. Not the most flavorful and overall mediocre burgers. But week-end burgers came up upon searching in the Louisville Take Out Facebook group. Had to come by and try it. It's a drive for me to get to this part of town but absolutely worth it! Tons of parking around the building. It's on the side of a gas station. My sister and I got double cheeseburgers. Thin patties, so you gotta do the double. And we shared onion rings and Cajun fries. Fresh and hot! The Cajun fries are like the ones from five guys but not as overseasoned. I've been missing out this whole time! So happy they're here. Saw tons of customers coming in and out for takeout orders. Can't wait to come back!!

I learned that this place is pretty close to where I sometimes work, and that is a dangerous piece of information for me. I got their #2 burger week special, adding fries to it (best decision). The burger had some spicy notes by way of jalapeño, chipotle, and pepper jack. The burger, even with the additions, was so simple and yet so beautifully executed. Truly cannot find a flaw with it. The fries awesome and crispy too. The atmosphere is nothing to write home about, but I mean this in the best way. The inside and outside and very unpretentious and unassuming, and you can tell the focus is really on the food rather than on gimmicks. The staff is awesome too. Everyone was super energetic, helpful, and taking pride in what they do. Wonderful experience here. It may be a little out of the way for some folks but it's worth the detour!

I didn't know there was a restaurant side and a bar side. I entered the bar side and it was pretty busy being after 10pm on a Monday night. It seemed there was a an employee being a server and bartender at the same time. She did take my order in a good amount of time. I forget the name of the burger or what exactly was on it but, I did provide photos. The burger was well cooked and I loved the seasoning they put on the bun. I had one of the Jack Daniels specialty bourbon. I believe it was like a blackberry lemonade I'm not sure. I just know it was very good. This is definitely an underrated Louisville (Southend) Gem. Love the nostalgia of the place and the environment seemed fantastic. No complaints here. I would love to come back.

Burgoo bowl $12- for my first time, it was really good. Some sour from vinegar, some sweetness from the tomato, the meat. Not overly seasoned. I would get this again Motor oil wings $14- the medium spiciness wasn't hot. These wings were so good. The breading gave nice texture but wasn't overly crispy. The meat was soft and moist. And the marinade was slightly sweet but not too sweet. Make sure to get wings! Kentucky Hot Brown $16- my first time. The creamy cheese sauce over turkey and bread. The bacon was crispy. The cheese sauce was really. But it felt like one bite of a mash of flavor. Peach cobbler and ice cream $10- the top is crispy with the ice cream. It is canned peach. The inside is straight butter, cream, and sugar. I would skip the peach cobbler.
